One day after the camper was set on our permanent spot we noticed the floor was separating. My husband called the dealer and someone came to look at it. The only thing that the warranty would allow for repairs was to sand the plywood section that was sticking up. The repair man said that the plywood was actually breaking apart, but Salem won’t replace it. We now have two other spots in our floor that are doing the same thing. In addition to this, the shelving in the pantry is falling apart and the shelves are falling. We only have spices on these shelves. This camper is a year old. Disappointed in the quality of this camper, and incredibly disappointed in the lack of cooperation with the warranty. Show less

In preparation for its use this Summer, I added the backup camera with 7 inch monitor, special weight distribution hitch, specialized hoses, sealed potential drafts, reversed the fridge door as the 2022 doors were installed to interfere with bathroom access and found the water hose installed with a kink that would eventually present a problem, added a max vent cover and a watchdog surge protector. We chose the Grand Design for its floorpan. It does not have a slide, but walk through access is great and no slide to present a future problem. The bathroom is roomy especially the shower, full size bunks, queen Murphy bed that becomes a sofa for day use and a dinette that becomes a sleep area long enough for an adult! It took 3 prior RVs to find what will work the Best for camping. Unfortunately, our Family Plans changed. Willing to pass along thousands of dollars savings and upgrades. Show less

This home starts out great with a 36” front door which makes moving furniture or appliances with ease. Lots of overhead room that makes the unit feel spacious and roomy. The second bedroom is so nice for living and for visitors alike. The full size home quality toilet and tub are just like a home. The 5 slides gives so much width to the space of this model. It has everything you need to live in a house that can be moved with ease. Show less

My wife and I have been living in this trailer for almost 5 years, I love my trailer. When I purchased my trailer at recreation by design, I was able to customize my own floor plan. It was so cool after coming with the image in my head and seeing it on paper, the salesmen were very patient with me because I was so new to this. Definitely will buy again from them soon Show less
