This is a basic trailer, but it is easy to tow and has all of the basics you need plus 100W solar and off road tires. It is perfect for weekend or overnight stays. However! There are a few Cons about it. 1. The bathroom is too small and the shower inside is worthless. 2. You cannot pull out the shelves in the fridge because the bathroom door is in the way. Bad design. 3. The fold down futon sofa is too hard on one side and too soft on the other. There is no good fix to make it comfortable. 4. The fold down bunk only holds 100 lbs... So not good for a bigger child. 5. The solar does not run the A/C. Other than those complaints, we are happy with it because it serves our needs. We didn't need anything fancy and spend most of our time outdoors. Most of the time, it is just the two of us and the dog.

We love our 2023 "little red" NuCamp 400 trailer. We bought is used from Apache Camping Center in Happy Valley, OR, in 2024. It is just the right fit for 2 people and a large dog. The queen sized bed is generous with 56" x 72" of space, large refrigerator, perfectly designed full bathroom with a shower, ample sized kitchenette with a 2-eye propane stove and sink, both with lift up covers, together with lots of lockable cupboard space. What makes this great for our dog Abby is that the dinette, located in the front of the trailer, transitions into a full sized bed. This gives us plenty of room to store carryall bags to one side of this bed, room for our 80 lb dog to stretch out, and our ability to tuck a couple grocery bags underneath the collapsed table. The trailer includes an Aldi heating and cooling system that is very efficient. Ample water, grey water, and black water tanks for boondocking for at least 3 days. An outside shower for dusty legs and dirty dogs. We really also like this model since it includes a 3-way switch for the refrigerator, the newer models only have a 2-way (removing the propane option). We got the best service possible from the salesman Charlie. After reviewing 5 campers on the lot we ended up coming back to this one and been happy ever since. One hiccup was our Subaru Outback erroneously is rated for 3,500 lb tow while in reality can only tow 2,600 lbs, due to the CVS belt system. We ended up buying "Billy" that is a 2015 Jeep Overland to take us on Holidays. Only wish Billy got better gas mileage - but hauls like a champ!

My wife and I are Alaska residents. As such, prepping for winter on the 16bh is a snap! All of the drain points are located in easy to reach areas. The fresh water tank (after draining) separates from the pump, there is a separate pick up hose that draws the antifreeze into the lines. All that's needed is open the valves and the antifreeze pumps in! Slick and fast!
The quality, fit, and finish are excellent. With 18 hours of summer daylight, the solar panel works great!
Longest trip last year culminated in a total of 1800 miles. Not a single problem! 100%+, well thought out!
Could not be happier. FYI, our tow vehicle is a Buick Enclave. The 16bh is a dream to tow, and it's weight is far less than capacity.
I would fate this unit at "ten stars" if the program would allow for it!

My major complaint is the toilet is too close to the vanity in the bathroom. Crawling over your mate to go to the bathroom while sleeping is inconvenient as well. Only reason i gave Warranty/support a 3 was I never needed any support and I bought it used. My sixth camper overall.

worst experience in my life. bought a travel trailer noticed many things wrong. mentioned it to them after they ignored us for a month or longer. then they finally had us bring it in to them in December. been calling, sending emails, no response. then when we call and complain, yes we swore at them it had been 4 months of being ignored, they called us and said it wasn't a good fit because we were rude and we needed to come pick it up and that they still didn't fix anything 4 months later. not one time did the manager call us to see what they could do to make it right with our first purchase. I would love to hear from the owner or director. horrible horrible.

I purchased what is a 2023 year Sunlite Classic 16BH Elite package, manufactured Sept. 2022. The eye candy, weight, and price are great. Have only gone about 500 miles with it so far but found some issues to be addressed. The rear stabilizer jacks were attached with bolts through the 4" rear bumper, thus, one can NOT store the stinky slinky like one would expect. The roof AC sounds like standing in a wind tunnel, so had to add electronic speed controls to tame it. The air diffuser for it was nothing but slots with no directional control. The radio / Bluetooth streaming player is nice, but audio volume control is complicated. Stove is right beside the bed, so, some kind of splash screen is needed. Storage is great, though a drawer for pots /pans could be installed in forward dinette storage. Towing has been very reasonable so far.

We purchased the unit in September of 2021 and over the course of a year we actually had it in our possession for less than 2 months. We had issues with water leaking under the shower, 2 of 3 slides not working (one slide got stuck when we were trying to leave an RV park on our way home and stranded us for hours), the heater didn't work (we were living in it while waiting to move into our new house and got a mobile tech to come out but the cabinet was built around the heater and he couldn't get it out to fix it), the water pump wouldn't work, the flooring was bubbling up, the seals on the slides were bad and light could be seen around all of them. After the unit was at the dealer from November 2021 to August 2022, I contacted the manufacturer. They said that they would come and pick it up and take to the factory to fix the slide out that the dealer hadn't been able to. They also said that they would reimburse the cost of the mobile tech that couldn't fix the heater and would extend the warranty for 90 days. After getting the unit back after the warranty had expired, they didn't plug in one of the recliners, there was antifreeze sprayed all over inside the unit which appears to have come from the sink, the bathroom counter laminate is coming off and the water pump wasn't working. They now say that they will only cover warranty items that were identified before the warranty period expired, and won't reimburse me for the mobile service tech because the warranty doesn't cover diagnosis. I was able to diagnose the pump, it was filled with plastic shavings that were sucked up from the fresh water tank but to plug in the recliner, I have to remove both of them and I guess I am on the hook for replacing the bathroom counter material. The manufacturer of the unit in Jayco and in the future I will never purchase another Jayco product and would advise anyone who asks to avoid them.
Pros - It tows well and has a good floor plan
Cons - Most systems don't work and the quality of work is terrible

The craftsmanship exceed any other unit I researched. Aerodynamic and lots of 'cool factor' details.
