I purchased my Keystone trailer brand new at the beginning of summer, excited to make memories camping with my family and our new baby. Unfortunately, it has been nothing but problems since day one. Something is always breaking — the solar panels, fridge, CO₂ detectors, and outlets have all failed at some point.
The trailer has spent more time at the dealer getting repaired than it has with us on the road. It feels like a complete waste of money, paying for something we can’t even use. We chose to spend more on a Keystone thinking it would mean better quality, but that couldn’t be further from the truth.
We’ve had to cancel multiple camping trips because of ongoing issues, and every time we take it out, I’m worried about what will break next. The worst part was the faulty fridge — I rely on it to keep breast milk cold for our baby, and I had to throw out a lot of spoiled milk because it failed during a trip.
Overall, this has been a huge disappointment. I would strongly caution anyone considering a Keystone trailer to think twice — for the price, the reliability and quality are simply not there.
