We decided to buy another Grand Design RV after our first GD was so well built. Man, a lot has changed! From the day we bought the RV there has been nothing but issues. The dealership has had it more than 7 months of the last 14 months. 3 of the 4 four brakes didn't;t work the day we bought it, but the dealership told me to go buy a fuse for my truck and sent me on my way. From the beginning our list of issues included; Front door not closing correctly garage entry door not closing correctly marker lights not working rear brake light intermittent working gas fill station won't take gas tears in roof bubbled out wall panels electrical outlet not mounted propoerly trim falling off trim not cut to correct length seem tape coming off on various walls shower rail not caulked at all and leaking water caulk hardened in sink Front door let light pass through the door because they're was no foam in part of the door. Under rear of garage metal is already rusting stair rail was loose on inside stair rail on outside rusted Those were just some of the issue, but we had to have them repaired multiple times. The fuel station still doesn't fill correctly, and we have had to bring it back many times for repairs to be redone. While the repairs are a problem with the dealership, GD has done little to nothing to make things right. Where as we used to be big fans of GD, we will be looking at other brands now for our next RV. Pro's Nice layout, easy loading, decent kitchen for a toy hauler and exceptional bathroom. Euro chairs are comfy and nice window coverage. Patio option is a nice extra. Another big pro is the large 90 gal fresh water tank. Cons: cheap door latch/lock handle(plastic) broke on first trip, couldn't latch door from inside. black tank flush did not work due to kink in the flex pipe which was obviously done on purpose during install because the flex pipe used was too short to connect without kinking it. Despite going to Goodyear Endurance on other models years ago, this toy hauler has Westlake tires. So GD decided to cut corners in safety(Tires) and security(Door latch) IMO. Water pump and winterization bypass switch are not easily accessible. One arm blind access, not under sink like most. Murphy bed with metal benches is too heavy and should have hydraulic assist, the concept of the fold down benches sounds good in theory but not practical in practice so I removed them entirely. We must have looked at dozens of RV trailers before purchasing the Intech Sol Eclipse Rover. The only disappointment is that most of the cabinet trim is literally falling off the cabinet bottoms and sides. Our RV was used twice and stored in a covered storage. I was shocked when i found the trim laying everywhere. The worst wasn’t that apparently bad glue was used , after contacting the dealer AND eventually Intech neither would stand by their product or even provide info on what glue to use. Very disappointed in their warranty and customer service. Trim should not peel off in one year especially when we kept the trailer immaculate and in covered storage. Intech even admitted they’d had many complaints about this issue 🙁 Show less

Overall superb. Very practical, love the 2 doors. Good quality. - Only issue is compatibility reverse camera and truck .... very hard to get a signal. - Sliding doors are good, but some guides a little flimsy. Love the bathroom. Love to have a separate bedroom. storage is adequate, I wish we had a little more. Show less

Our 2019 Grand Design Reflection 337RLS has been basically trouble free. I work great distances from home; consequently, the camper has had a lot of full-time use. The only thing that has failed is the microwave, but I've learned that was most likely my fault from my habit of warming plates/dishes without any food and that will damage the microwave magnetron. The new microwave was an easy R&R for my wife and I. I do my best to stay up on maintenance. I haven't had any leaks, but I have had to repair taillights, replace the toilet, and the spare tire is prone to loosen up. All in all it has been a great camper. . .I'm 2,500 miles from home and living in it right now. I've heard people complain about the water heater being too small, but I run the electric & gas while showering and never run out of hot water. Show less

While on our 2nd trip with trailer, we noticed a crease in the vinyl floor in front of the fridge. There is an 18" -+ noticable valley in floor. Looks like an obvious flaw in the underlayment. After months of communication with Grand Design, there only solution is to patch the floor. In a high traffic area this would not last and hurt resale value. Also, the drawers by the front door wobbled and banged up against the door frame. This I fixed with heavy duty Blum sliders that had no side to side play. Grand Design does not back their product, we'll never buy their product again. Show less

Owned this camper since October 2024 and use it at least once a month from Feb - Nov. Over all quality of frame and camper itself is outstanding. Everything else is One-star. All components seem very cheap and the installation of them is comparable to a two year old putting an adult jigsaw puzzle together. Nothing is installed, square or attached properly. Counters are bubbled an warped. Plumbing under the kitchen sink is crooked and not connected properly. Drawers and cabinets are low quality with slides falling off, The mount for the camera on the back of the camper is crocked with screws put in at angles then smeared with excessive silicone to hold everything on place. Sliding doors to bedroom fell off after three trips. recliners screwed to the floor 2 inches from the wall on one side 5-1/2 inches from the wall on the other side. Purchased at Blue Compass and the service manger told me he has campers worth $150,000 - 250,000 he is working one he doesn't have time for my cheap camper. Told us he would never own a camper his idea of vacation is as far from camping as he can get. Awning snapped off where it connects to the arm and Blue Compass has been dragging their feet getting it repaired. Ordering $1400.00 arms so I can repair it myself. Starting to review campers of better quality to replace our Gran Design with in three years. I hope Blue Compass hasn't taken over all camper sales. Grand design has called me five times about a recall they want repaired. Blue Compass denies there is a recall. Tried to put me in the middle of the argument, I refuse their calls now. Basically. I am very disappointed with the purchase of a Grand Design. Show less

You’ll have to get a roof within the first few years. Have a 2023 and it hasn’t even been 3 years yet and a whole roof replacement. Now I’m gonna have to replace the slide roof. Not to mention all the plentiful self repairs I have to make every trip since day one. Folks due your selves a favor and stay away. The news on the street is it’s called Grand Decline for a reason. Scary. Gonna be out another 2-3,000 next month when my Tech moves a 2024 GRAND Decline out for its roof to so my slide roof. Already 10,000 in the whole. Paid for what I thought was quality and got junk. Show less

Nordic Fridge broke in first 5 days. Trim all over coming loose. Outside of bedroom slide separating from top piece. Gaps between slide mechanism and wall letting light in. Will clealrly let bugs and rodents in. Tv not mounted level. Washer Dryer unit door already sagging and bent. Wood valances uneven and need tightened. Trim above toy hauler door and seem tape all ripped and jagged. Ball that goes to hidden section behind TV rolled away during the drive home. Walls around base of garage are already starting to stain from... standard garage use. I have not even loaded a side by side yet. Edges of framless windows has peeling tint. Counter in bathroom not solid surface, thats where you needed it. Show less

Bought a 2025 stratus venture 261vrb from great American tv in defuniak springs Florida. Went on a 4 month trip around the USA Overall not many issues. One issue was the 20 amp gfci bkr that fed the outlets for where the washer and dryer would plug in 120vac was wired incorrectly at the factory. As soon as u plugged anything in the bkr would trip free. Took the dealership some time to troubleshoot this issue and wire the bkr correctly. Second issue was the reception wiring for cable/antanne broke after 2 months. Dealership troubleshot and found numerous loose connections and a bad splitter. Third issue was electric fireplace broke after 3 months. Dealership replaced it. 4th issue was the slide out stove fell off its sliders after 3 uses. Dealership fixed 5th issue was the blinds by the couch and dining table had the lower piece come off. Dealership fixed these. Last issue was the shower head was clogged with piping debris from installation. Had to clean out bits of plastic plumbing pipe to get decent water flow. It took a month to get warranty work approved. And another month to get parts. Show less
