I bought this 2021 Forest River Salem in May of this year. This is the third time we have used it and while driving on the highway the front half of the underbelly ripped out along the highway. I contacted my dealership who related that due to being several states away I had to contact Salem directly to fix this. I've contacted the warranty department now 5 times, spoke to the warranty guy twice. He could care less about the problem. He related that maybe he could ship the piece of the underbelly to a mobile tech to fix. I found a mobile tech who contact the warranty guy, as instructed from him. The warranty department never returned his call I then called the warranty guy two more times and he has refused to return my calls or update me with anything. The issue I'm now having is driving it with air blowing up under the travel trailer causing possibly more damage to either the floors or walls. I wish someone from the company would contact me back. We love this camper. My husband says it pulls nicely. The versa lounge is great to open up the sitting area. We love the privacy of the bunk room. We have had a few issues within our first year but the warranty department has been great with Salem. They have fixed everything that working right or broke. High recommend. Show less

Great layout for our family of 6 and 2 dogs. The fridge inside is nice and big. The bunk area is great with the ability to close the kids in and lets them sleep. Perfect design and layout in my opinion and this is my 3rd trailer. Outside kitchen is great withe metal counter so I never have to worry about rot or anything. I've only stayed in a seasonal spot with this and leave the slides out from April to October. So far I've owned it for 10 months and 1 winter. Show less

He enjoyed are Salem 31 foot trailer the only reason we are getting rid of it is because we are trying to buy a house it is great entertainment for the family very comfortable this is my first Salem trailer but I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Show less

We are only selling the trailer because we are trying to buy the house very nice for entertaining lots of room for camping the outside kitchen is extra nicely for cooking when you're outside nice stainless steel appliances Show less

We just purchased our new Salem trailer. This is the first time in my life that I must say I feel ripped off. The workmanship is absolutely horrible. I don't know why something like this even gets to leave the factory. There are scratches all over the place. The bathroom fan his crooked and only three screws fastened to the ceiling. One of the seats on the dinning area is not even square. The radio is not working properly.The shelf under the TV area is way off level. I've only had it three weeks and now we find out that there is a leak under the sink. The hot water line was only hand tightened and leaked without notice. Now the floor part of that cabinet is coming apart. I will never ever purchase from this manufacture again. Show less

First time RV owners purchased this RV in 2015. First trip out the slides ripped out our drawers in the bunkhouse as they did not stay closed during travel - that was the beginning of our journey. I have to think this unit was the training unit for staff. Since we have had it in the shop 10 weeks in 2 years. Siding has come off twice, microwave fell out of the wall, drawer fronts fall off when we open them, speakers don't work, LED outside lights broke, water pouring in the bunkhouse during a storm, stabilizer jacks broke, antenna for TV reception doesn't work if the air/heat is on. The service shop doing the repairs have found all the wiring in the unit was not properly installed. I have tried calling Salem, no one answers or responds to my messages. My local dealer is trying to take care of me but they are at a lost - and are tired of seeing me. I just want to go camping one time with no issues! Show less
