I just got my 2026 campsite elite 36ak. Beautiful trailer 5th wheel with a list of problems that everyone should run away from. Don't waste your money! 118000 worth of problems. Here is a partial list can provide pictures and emails to prove. Windows leak snow and cold, floor repai done bad, fridge bracket does not fit so can lock when in travel, toilet wobble, frost comes through the walls not proper insulation, snow drifts on the floor, windows trim to hold them in was falling off, ac heat strips not there as was part of the deal, furnace not working proper , snow comes through the windows, power running through the pull out to me.a big fire hazard,seal not proper around pull outs and the list keeps going. We bought this at the Calgary rv show where the reps from forest river and rangelad told us how good of a fit this would be for us seniors. How warm it would be for us . We were there to get a good rv fit as a.fire destroyed our rv so with insurance we needed a new one . they knew of our predicament and just wanted a sale full of lies and miss representing it. They have our money. That is all that matters to them. Shame on.all of them and the ones who build these need to put a bit of effort into their products. A beautiful trailer that is worthless! If I could rate them a 0 I would.. I purchased a new 2025 Forest River Wildwood Heritage Glen fifth wheel from Bish’s RV – Kalispell, along with an extended service contract, expecting reliability and support. Instead, I’ve experienced ongoing mechanical issues, poor follow-through, and a complete breakdown in service and warranty accountability. Since January 27, 2025, my RV has been without reliable heat and/or hot water, making it uninhabitable. I live full-time in this unit with my child. A heating failure led to additional damage, and despite multiple service visits, the problems have not been resolved. Most recently, a technician serviced the water heater and left it non-functional, throwing an E4 ignition error. I was told no one was available to fix it until days later — leaving me with no hot water after months of issues. What has been most frustrating is the lack of ownership: Problems have been repeatedly reframed or deflected Warranty coverage has been denied or delayed despite covered components Repairs have taken weeks, not days Communication has been inconsistent The burden has been placed entirely on me This unit is not a true four-season RV, yet I was left dealing with the consequences of system failures without timely support or accountability. I am still displaced, still without full use of my RV, and still waiting for resolution on a unit that is new and under warranty. I strongly caution anyone considering purchasing an RV here to ask hard questions about after-sale support, warranty responsiveness, and what happens when something goes wrong — because that’s when it really matters. FOREST RIVER RV'S ARE COMPLETE JUNK ,THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORIBLE I have one of their newer 5th wheels and it's complete CRAP . BUILT WITH COMPLETE IGNORANCE, AND NO PRIDE AT ALL. If you want a quality built rv, trust me, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING BUILT BY FOREST RIVER. Show less

I will start with general rv the salesman we very nice but after that was by far the worst everything went down hill fast from that point I signed for an extended warranty and that didn't happen but I paid for it. I tried to talk to the manager Chris dietrich and thats a one way conversation and NOT in your favor the service department is all lies same with Chris dietrich. Then I get forest river involved and they lied to me and said they had no contact with Chris and had no knowledge of what was going on and that was a lie there were so many problems the manufacturer took it and they had to basically rebuild half the rv leals ,mold,slide problems, solar problems, batteries blowing up, water heater problems, countertops replaced, stabilizer replaced,stains, and just a ton more then they want to give me 3 grand for rolling junk that I paid 43,000.00 and I still haven't even sat on the bed 1 yr and 7 months later we just got it back and the door to the bedroom is broken and do you think anyone will respond to an email nope and now no warranty and no help they just want your money A BUNCH OF JUNK ,LIES, AND THEIVES Show less

This is an absolutely beautiful 5th wheel. Tons of space. easy to heat and cool. Amazing floorplan with a huge loft. Three TV's ,great refrigerator with a wine cooler. Sleeps everyone comfortably. Slide toppers added to all five slides . Retractable Huge tv and gorgeous fireplace in front living room with comfortable couches and recliners. Outside lightening and huge awning make outdoor time special as well. I would recommend this dream RV to everyone. Show less

The fact that this unit has 5 slide outs which opened the livability areas of this RV is crazy good. When in tow with a vehicle designed for this size of unit, you really don't know that it is behind you. It rides very sturdy in bad weather situation and stays stable when all jacks are down giving you the home feeling. This unit from the factory was designed to be used in RV parks plugged in for power and comforts while out with the family, however this unit had a professionally installed Onan 6500 LP Generator which allows this unit to be used off grid 100% The master sleeps (2) with that home feeling, the up-stairs loft sleeps (2) and they (2) pull out couch bed up front sleep a total of (4) and if needed the wall hugger recliners will accommodate extra sleepers(1) each. This unit receives an annual safety inspection for peace of mind. Show less

We lived in a 2021 Heritage Glen Elite 36FL and it was totally and completely awesome. The set up was amazing! we loved the front living and sunken in kitchen. It truly felt like a mini house. and the underneath storage was awesome! We have since closed that chapter of our life but if we had it to do over again this is exactly the 5th wheel we would purchase! Show less

We bought this TT brand new and Thank God my husband is very handy and has fixed many problems. Problems with plumbing , since the beginning when we bought it, it was in August of 2020 and we could not bring it in to get fixed due to covid, water leaking from the bottom of the shower, plumbing was done wrong and water would leak everywhere. Sofa and one reclining chair had to be fixed, problem with the slide outs rubber seals, he also fixed all of it. The latest, the roof was cracking everywhere , took it to Camping world and they sent pictures to Forest River to do a good will repair, and was told no they would not do it. Finally we had it fixed and it seems they painted the roof membrane to match the trailer, we found the difference in the color on the parts that where under the seals, and must have used the wrong paint and the roof felt like a cracker when is was taken off. It was completely dried out. This is not our first RV and we know how to take care of it, have always used the products recommended by the manufacturer to clean it. But of course Forest River did not want to take responsibility for a job so badly done. We will never buy another product from this company. Show less

Love the floor plan. Couples coach. Great outdoor kitchen. Quality is good. Floor plan is very unique and price point is affordable. Things I would like to see improved. Plumbing- lot of tubing with pex clamps Shower- would like to see full fiberglass unit. Forest River in the newer models have made improvements and made great upgrades. • Opened up rear underbelly of coach for additional storage that was hidden in 2021/2022 models. • Open stairs Overall we are happy with the 36fl and would buy another 36FL without hesitation. In the middle of January 22nd, 2024, I purchased a 2023 Heritage Glen LTZ 270FKS 820 From Bish’s RV in meridian Idaho. Right off the bat I found 19 things wrong with the Trailer: These items are: Hole and bubbling above the pantry door Kitchen drawers fell out when pulled (drawers fell because the back studs for the drawer rail brackets are not attached) Side support board for the drawers also not attached panel under the refrigerator was secured leaving a half inch crooked gap Trim around the large bubble window above kitchen sink fell off while towing home five miles away on city streets Main brace underneath bed split and not attached Back plate behind the stove not attached just lying loose All pull down blinds have Velcro tabs on the bottom bar of the blinds but nothing on the walls to attach them too (only half done) Blinds crooked on the two narrow windows in the bedroom Broken latch on refrigerator door Hinges for the storage doors underneath dining table benches loose and floating back and forth Trim around the pantry sagging and loose (no adhesive) lens cover on running lights missing Wires not wrapped or secured on electric jack by hitch Access panel door on bedroom slide out warped Shower door seal fell off when opening door Magnetic plate for bedroom door installed on a diagonal (all others level to the floor) Panel under the sink only attached on one side Keyhole on front door pried and bent (probably not manufacturing) These are the items I found in the first three hours of possession and this morning I took it back to the dealership. I talked to the Director of service, Bish's RV in Meridian Idaho and showed him the issues I had, in which he documented and took possession of for immediate service, and I asked him to go through the whole RV to find the things I didn't find, (which scares me). So, I guess what my questions is where do we go from here, what is going to be done about this situation, I paid close to $50,000.00 for your product and the condition of the RV does not reflect that, (was it built on a Friday?). I sent an email to Bish’s and Forest River with this list of problems on Jan 23rd to Bish’s and Forest River, in which Bish’s took back the trailer and submitted it for warranty work. I’ve nbeen trying to resolve these issues for months now and more things are going wrong: The air conditioner ducting was not connected, and all the cold air was coming out from under the kitchen sink The one and only camping trip we went on the 11nth of April, we had to keep the speed of my towing below 50mph because the back of the trailer swayed wildly, (and it never did that before) This trailer has been in the shop more than out of the shop, and the kicker is Idaho doesn’t have an RV lemon Law. I would really appreciate it if you could Get at least one of these companies, if not both, to make right. Thank Show less
