** WORST RV PURCHASE EVER ** This is my 3rd RV, (2 from McClains And now this Forest River Sabre from Fun Town). I purchased this Supposed state of the art fifth wheel unit with the side patio at the cowboy stadium event back in April 2025. This unit was the number one hit at our first RV outings with several of our camping groups. In 12 calendar months, we have only been able to use this unit three times. After each outing with the unit, there were problems and issues with the unit and after all three outings, we would IMMEDIATELY take the unit back to fun town RV in Cleburne, Texas. With the first & 2nd Repairs in April 2025, it took approximately four months for all repairs to eventually be completed, (To be fair, they did allow me to come pick the unit up for a weekend event we had previously scheduled, and I immediately brought it back for the repairs to be completed). Those repairs were eventually completed August 9, 2025. We made our third trip in the trailer, to Galveston, Texas the last week of December, 2025 and departed the RV park January 6th 2026, where we immediately drove from Galveston, Texas to Cleburne Texas to drop the unit off because of, once again, breakdowns and issues with the unit. The unit had several issues, but, the main primary issue was a defective black tank that needed to be replaced. With this issue and all the previous issues where it took them so long to repair, the fun town dealership kept encouraging me to reach out to Forest River so that I, the customer, could have them speed up the approval process and the sending out of the parts process because, fun town said that’s what they were waiting on. I was basically put in the middle and forced to try and be my own advocate & facilitator to get my RV unit repaired between fun town and Forest River. As of today, April 16, 2026, my unit is still at the fun town dealership. They did receive the black tank two weeks ago, but, it still has not been installed. I was initially told, several months ago, that when the tank comes in, I would be made priority and they would rush my unit in to get it fixed and that it should only take about five hours. I contacted the service manager yesterday, Andrew Allegra, and he advised my unit has been in the shop for eight days, but that, he could not understand why it has not been completed yet. He advised me that he would get on it today and he apologized about the delay and he advised that he will check into the reason why it has taken so long. With my unit being in the shop for so long, my one year Unlimited warranty ran out last week. Fun town advise that I should reach out to Forest River to see about them extending my warranty since my trailer has been in the shop for OVER six months of the 12 months, I have owned it. I just contacted Forest, Rive, owners relation department, and spoke with a representative there by the name of Miss Randy. I advise her of the situation and am requesting an additional six months of unlimited warranty for my unit since I have only used it three times and it has been in the shop for over six months of the 12. She advised me that she will speak with her boss today and call me back with an answer. With this last repair where the unit was dropped off January 6, 2026, these last 3 months has been so frustrating and inconvenient. We have missed so many camping outings, holiday outings, etc. because the unit that I am paying for, is not available to me. I have made 3 trailer payments, I have made 3 RV storage unit Payments, I have paid insurance for 3 months, but, I have not had any use of this unit. Unfortunately, I am locked in, contractually, to this unit until I pay it off. However, I will never buy again, nor would I ever recommend again to anyone that they purchase a RV unit from Fun town and also Forest River. Both companies are so unaccommodating when it comes to taking care of the customer post purchase. What we are told and promised pre-purchase, does not match the care we will get post purchase. This camper has been at the dealership since october of last year. It has a severe towing issue, where anything over fifty miles an hour and the trailer sways dramatically, and I feel like i'm going to lose control of my F450. Forest river does not return calls. We are two weeks away from putting our camper on our seasonal site.And we have no camper. I do not recommend forest river products Show less

I just got my 2026 campsite elite 36ak. Beautiful trailer 5th wheel with a list of problems that everyone should run away from. Don't waste your money! 118000 worth of problems. Here is a partial list can provide pictures and emails to prove. Windows leak snow and cold, floor repai done bad, fridge bracket does not fit so can lock when in travel, toilet wobble, frost comes through the walls not proper insulation, snow drifts on the floor, windows trim to hold them in was falling off, ac heat strips not there as was part of the deal, furnace not working proper , snow comes through the windows, power running through the pull out to me.a big fire hazard,seal not proper around pull outs and the list keeps going. We bought this at the Calgary rv show where the reps from forest river and rangelad told us how good of a fit this would be for us seniors. How warm it would be for us . We were there to get a good rv fit as a.fire destroyed our rv so with insurance we needed a new one . they knew of our predicament and just wanted a sale full of lies and miss representing it. They have our money. That is all that matters to them. Shame on.all of them and the ones who build these need to put a bit of effort into their products. A beautiful trailer that is worthless! We purchased this unit used last year. The toilet in the back dumps into the grey tank that is the same rear tank for the bath sink, the washer hookup and the kitchen sink. That is so nasty. We contacted Forest river and they said they didn't know about it as it was a long time ago. We did several flushes with colored water to confirm this was correct. What a health hazard. Needless to say we will not be using the rear toilet. We flushed it out till it was clear. If you purchase a camper with rear bath, make sure it has a rear black tank. Show less

So far I have either made all repairs myself or hired out the repairs. First year 2022 1. No seals on the kitchen refrigerator/fireplace slide out. When I closed up the unit for winter I could see the grass outside on each corner of the slide out. Repair by the dealer. 2. No hole cut for the bedroom door deadbolt in the door frame. I had to router the aluminum frame myself to get it to actually work. 3. The floor under the recliner and table fell out when I closed the slides. Repaired by the dealer. 4. Checked RV first winter to find squirrels living in it. Found holes for water/drain lines not spray foamed on bottom of frame. Fixed myself, no more squirrels. 5. Kitchen faucet was leaking, not properly installed, fixed it myself. Second year 6. Had mice inside water heater compartment, not inside the RV. Found unsealed holes behind the water heater I had to use my cell phone camera to see. Spray foamed myself. 7. I used FLEX SEAL tape make gaskets around the hydraulic rams where they penetrate the frame to keep mice from getting in the under belly pan. 8. FACTORY is horrible and will not return phone calls. This was our 2nd RV. Purchased new in 2017. One trip to Luray Caverns and the frame of the schwintek slide out was separating from the outside wall. This was noted while fueling my SUV. I tightened the screws multiple times before getting home. Whole trip was < 1000 miles. I bought it from a dealership about 150 miles from my home. This was when I discovered, at least in DE, that they won’t work on it unless they sold it. Called Forest River & they told me they knew of the problem. Blamed (I guess all 180’s that year) on improper installation. I was so fed up I traded it on a used 2015 Cruiser RV Fun Finder. Went cross country in that with no issues. There is a lot online about R-Pods walls separating from the frame. Dig deep enough and you’ll find mostly negative reviews. Seems most good reviews are newer RV’s. I wonder if they’ve even been used yet. The concept and floor plan was good. Quality is poor, which I have found is rampant throughout the industry. I wouldn’t buy new & used is somebody trying to get rid of a problem at your expense. Show less

This RV is often referred to as a "Couple's Camper" because of its open floor plan, king bed and large bathroom. If you get the dinette version it can sleep four. We chose the recliner loveseat sitting in front of the fireplace and relaxing, so our's sleeps two. We have not had any problems with it and I can say that after looking at so many other designs, this one works well for the 2 of us and our large dog. The hardware on the inside doors is sturdy and the doors do not come off the track when underway as some other models do. The large kitchen counter space and pantry are just what we needed. Happy to have the solar panel and monitoring equipment installed and working. Central heat and air are super nice and quiet. Second entry/exit door in the master BR is a bonus, since we sometimes leave the door open with just the screen. Very happy with this unit. It is just under 6000 lbs. and tows easily. It has good ground clearance and is well built with aluminum infrastructure and walkable roof. Having the rear ladder to access equipment on the roof is a big bonus. There are videos available to see the manufacturing plant and process. Oh, and there are organizing shelves built in under the bed and a quick connect for propane to run the grill off the main tanks. Too many extras to mention here. Have not used warranty at all. Did come with crap tires which we promptly replaced. Highly recommend this model if you are looking. Show less

I purchased my Forest River No Bo from an owner who had it for 3 years. At first glance it's a fairly nice travel trailer. Once you have used it for a year or so , you realize how poorly constructed these trailers really are. Of course every cabinet is made from particle board, so the least amount of pressure on an electrical outlet, will knock it right out of the wall. I have two now that are impossible to re-attach. The valances above the windows are sagging from opening and closing them. Overall, these trailers are made like dog do. If I ever decide to purchase another one, it won't be the crap that Forest River puts out. That being said, I'd give them a one star review. Show less

If I could rate them a 0 I would.. I purchased a new 2025 Forest River Wildwood Heritage Glen fifth wheel from Bish’s RV – Kalispell, along with an extended service contract, expecting reliability and support. Instead, I’ve experienced ongoing mechanical issues, poor follow-through, and a complete breakdown in service and warranty accountability. Since January 27, 2025, my RV has been without reliable heat and/or hot water, making it uninhabitable. I live full-time in this unit with my child. A heating failure led to additional damage, and despite multiple service visits, the problems have not been resolved. Most recently, a technician serviced the water heater and left it non-functional, throwing an E4 ignition error. I was told no one was available to fix it until days later — leaving me with no hot water after months of issues. What has been most frustrating is the lack of ownership: Problems have been repeatedly reframed or deflected Warranty coverage has been denied or delayed despite covered components Repairs have taken weeks, not days Communication has been inconsistent The burden has been placed entirely on me This unit is not a true four-season RV, yet I was left dealing with the consequences of system failures without timely support or accountability. I am still displaced, still without full use of my RV, and still waiting for resolution on a unit that is new and under warranty. I strongly caution anyone considering purchasing an RV here to ask hard questions about after-sale support, warranty responsiveness, and what happens when something goes wrong — because that’s when it really matters.
