I personally don't like the back bedroom but the fact that there is no room at between the wall and the foot of the mater bed is maddening at best. Also the heater vent being at the foot of the bed is horrible it make the bed very hot but doesn't heat the room itself well at all. The partical board interior is falling apart and the hood is falling off over the stove as well as having issues with the walls drawing in moisture and the door swelling in the cold. The only good thing about this camper is that the pipes are mostly internal.

Our 2024 Coleman Lantern 17B developed major water damage and delamination within the first year. Keystone RV’s handling of the warranty claim has been frustrating and inconsistent from the start. Their representative initially said they wanted to “do what’s right for my family” and acknowledged how serious water damage could be. But they quickly shifted to blaming me for “lack of maintenance” — with no proof. Then they demanded $6,500 out of pocket for a replacement unit. I was forced to accept a buyout — until I submitted an updated payoff that was less than $1,800 higher. Suddenly, Keystone dropped the $6,500 demand and offered both a new buyout and a replacement. This flip-flop proved they were never negotiating in good faith. They missed multiple deadlines, ignored my final offer, and went completely silent. Keystone’s customer service failed my family when we needed them most. If you’re thinking about buying from them — be careful. Document everything, and don’t assume they’ll back their product when it matters.

The toy hauler gives you living space flexibility and the ability to transfer your toys in one unit. The reclining chairs give comfort and we found the bankette dinette was not needed to give a more homey feel while on the road. The option to use the Ramp as a patio and the ability to screen it off is great. This 30 foot unit is small enough to tow and navigate easily. Setup is quick with power stabilizers. Lots of storage space in cupboards, closets, under mattress and in pass thru storage area. Outdoor awning , lighting and speakers are great.

All the Coleman/Dutchmen engineers got together and asked: “how can we make the cheapest trailer possible, yet still charge a high price”? and so they came up with the 2024 Coleman 18BH. Consensus: Lets scale down the nice Lippert 4,400 lb axle and use a cheaper Terran 4,000 lb. axle. Tinted windows? NO, too expensive. Windows? 2 should be enough, although you get NO cross through ventilation (as they’re NOT on opposite sides) Storage? Empty spaces under kitchen countertop that SHOULD have doors or drawers (unusable voids)- HUGE space under bunkbed you cannot access, unusable, should have had a door to the outside. (too expensive) The so-called “couch” is too short for a normal person (VERY uncomfortable) and the cushions on couch AND dinette are hard as a rock. General storage capacity? Not enough for even One person. The radio (no cd player!! Really?) and the speakers are about the cheapest on the market. The 3rd time I opened the cap for the electric plug-in, it broke. Any pros? To be fair, a good size refrigerator, but it runs on DC only, so you BETTER have solar panels if you are ever to boondock. The bathroom is tight, but that’s expected in an 18ft trailer. This is my 4th trailer so I KNOW what I’m talking about. Good luck.

Tall and blocky enough to blow all over the road unless you spend an extra $2500 on an obscene hitch setup. Neither the heat nor the ac work without being connected to shore power, even though the heat is propane based. The fridge flies open going down the road with any minor bump, spilling its contents on the floor. The hot water heater was inoperative brand new, the air vents come with nothing to improve quality of life, half the windows don’t open. The materials used are cheap and flimsy and start to disintegrate after the very first use, the storage compartments are lined with cheap pressboard so any decent packing results in the destruction of the compartment itself, the floor plan was decent, except that they cluttered stuff in there to absorb the space and left everything as basic as possible. Save yourself the trouble, find a used camper that doesn’t come from Coleman. Save twice the money, get twice the quality. This thing is junk. True blue junk.

We've owned this camper now for three years and really haven't had any issues that would warrant a negative review. When we first bought this new unit from Camping World, they were very professional and walked us through the entire operation on setting up and prepping the rig for towing. We did have some issues with trim around the dinette area, and the awning LED light wouldn't work at times. I was able to get the trailer in to be fixed and after that trip I've had zero issues. This is a huge step up from the pop-up camper we started off with, but well worth the investment. Biggest thing is maintenance, and I'm a beast when it comes to making sure all my wheeled vehicles are ready to roll.

Being a stickler for quality and craftsmanship, I was not impressed with the quality of materials used on this RV. For example, the “floor” reminded me of wood paneling commonly found on walls! I expected there to be a sheet of heavy plywood. Despite all, I was sold on the floor plan, cost, and visions of family fun. Once we took delivery, the flimsiness became a glaring issue so much so, that we called the deal to ask them if we could return it. Besides the materials and construction, I did not like the constant wobble associated with walking and sleeping in this unit. My biggest safety issue arose when the carbon monoxide detector came on. All I did was turn on the propane tank then shut it off. Apparently, the subsequent gas in the line leaked into the compartment. My advice is to look past the price, floor plan and attractive interior and focus on the craftsmanship which should lead you to your answer as to whether or not to purchase.
