This is a very attractive trailer and for the most part has held up. We ran into an issue with the black tank valve immediately but other than that it’s been alright. There’s a lot of overhang which makes it hard to go on steep hills. Ours has the cold weather package but first winter in it proved a lot of stuff was not ready for it. The tank heaters are practically useless and with no furnace it can be almost impossible to defrost the tanks. We were lucky enough to have the cold front not last too long and get back above freezing temperatures. I will say that we were in 0 degrees and did not realize it was that cold until we checked the weather. It has great internal wall heaters but the HVAC is practically useless. There are a few drafts in the bedroom which we had to use reflectix for.

Our trailer spent most of the first year in the shop. The firefly controls have had constant issues. The bedroom/ hall slide had to have the bottom completely replaced. The slide would not close properly. The water heater had frozen and split the lines before we ever used the trailer. The lights in the kitchen slide pulled out and I had to re-atach them. The awning came un attached and damaged the side of our house. We have had the trailer just over 1 1/2 years and used it less than 10 times. I was inspecting the trailer to get ready for a trip next month and the heater blower motor has gone out.

We bought new from dealer about 200 miles from our house, big mistake. Terrible to get anything done. Between the lying from the dealer and the poor workmanship of the dealer it was bad enough that we did the small stuff ourselves. As for the trailer it’s self, we love it. The biggest problem we have with it and the factory said it’s the way it’s supposed to be is, it is the worst insulated trailer that we have ever owned. Factory build sheet says R38 in the floor and ceiling. We had to remove some of the underbelly, to our surprise the insulation is no more than 1 1/2" thick in places and was missing about 2ft all together. Started looking at the rest of the coach, no wonder we can’t stay warm. Factory said out of warranty don’t care. Called the factory, was told this straight from the horses mouth. Based off my production manager's and what he stated, the correct insulation is installed. R-7 is used in the floor, based off what he stated. There can be different thickness measurements.

We have owned our 2016 Forest River R-Pod 179 for two years now and absolutely love it. I really appreciate the style and layout inside. It feels modern and there’s plenty of cabinet space. I especially love that it is light weight and we can tow it with our Nissan Xterra Pro4X. I also appreciate that this model was made pre-Covid and it has the highest quality standards. Everything works and it has held together well Another bonus is that there is such a huge following of R-Pod lovers that we have been able to be part of a Facebook community where we have learned all kinds of tips and tricks about R-Pods and traveling safe and keeping it up-to-date. They even have rallies and meet ups all across the country.

Open app Your location Dennis Dillon RV 6772 W Targee St, Boise, ID 83709 RV dealer Kimberly Cory - Hepperle 407 points an hour ago They sold me a pre-owned trailer that they didn't inspect properly. The air conditioner didn't work first trip, heater didn't work, water lines were opposite and the shower hoses was off. Every trip we had we had problems. Every time we used it we either had a blow out, damaged wear to tire. Repeatedly we told the dealership. I purchased the extended warranty and additional tire coverage. Check your warranties they don't cover much. But we were told Dennis Dillon is the administrators. My axle is bent. My belief is they sold it to me without throughly inspecting the trailer or they would have caught these issues. My inspection report provided by Dennis dillon is blank. I've tried for over a month to request theirs. No response. I called and asked for the manager left a very detailed message for my call. I didn't know it was Joseph Muller as the manager. He didn't call me he emailed my husband because he dealt with him on the past issue. He knows what the issue is because I left a message and emailed him no response now for over a month. Don't purchase a pre-owned vehicle from them. You're putting your life at risk. The warranty isn't worth the paper it's printed on and Dennis dillon won't respond to you should you need help. Warranty company only open 9 to 5 Monday through Friday. Ridiculous run around if you break down after hours and don't get pre authorization to tow your vehicle off the freeway. Joseph Muller service manager is evasive and non responsive. Filed complaint with Better Business Bureau. I've spent more time and money broken down repairing a trailer that should have been inspected and repaired before resale.

I had an exceptional experience camping with this RV. It’s a beautifully designed, luxury unit that drives smoothly on the highway. With a convenient bath 1/2 featuring separate sinks for him and her, it offers the perfect blend of comfort and functionality. The plush king-size bed guarantees a great night's sleep, while the ample cabinet space and commercial-sized refrigerator provide plenty of room for all your essentials. It features a convection microwave, a stove with an oven, and a dining table that comfortably seats four. The couch converts to a jackknife sofa, and there’s a nice-sized pantry for even more storage. Plus, the pull-out bed above the captain’s seats adds versatility. You’ll love the TV with a fireplace for cozy evenings, and the two slide-outs make the interior incredibly spacious. This RV comfortably sleeps 6 to 8 people and the furniture was just redone last year, adding to its appeal. There’s even a TV with a radio outside for your entertainment needs. With several compartments for storage, this RV is designed for convenience and enjoyment. I absolutely love this unit and have had zero issues with it. I’m selling it only to upgrade to another model!

Poor materials and quality. Outrageous prices for terrible workmanship and nothing but problems from the second you drive off the lot. Horrendous, unresponsive customer service, zero accountability and zero reimbursement for major defects. Screw customer over with faulty products. RV sits at the repair shop the entire first year under manufactured warranty, with all sorts of problems that they don't bothering fixing. They don't pay repair shops enough money to do their recalls either, customer has to come out of pocket on those too. Nothing but a money pit. RV dealers only want to sell and promise to do warranty work, use it as a selling point, but when you try bringing in your broken RV they turn you down claiming FR doesn't pay them enough to cover their work $/hour.

electrical outlets could be dangerous. wires are push in and make contact only when insulation is pierced by pressing into metal tangs. no screws to tighten down on wires. can't believe they would do that. the fresh water inlet is lower than the tank inlet. hose must be held in place and a rag used to block the water from coming back out of the inlet. shower handles turn in opposite directions. that is completely anti-intutive. scalding is possible. cheap, cheap, cheap is the equipment and the engineering. tv antenna will not reach stations 50 miles or more away.

We bought the fifth wheel from Camping World in Tampa. It was a three-hour drive to the park. The kitchen slider would not extend. The nut for the rod was off. After opening by hand I was ready to go. Hooked to water up and every fitting was leaking. Camping World said make an appointment to make repairs. They would send a Tech. but I would have to pay for the Tech to come out. I made the repairs myself. I would think twice before dealing with either company.
