2021 Riverside reviews

I bought a Riverside Retro 189R (24 ft) brand new in June of 2021. I have been living in it full time since then. I live in an RV park and hear horror stories about other peoples Travel Trailers /RV's and can only tell you my Riverside RV travel trailer has been great! I live in Florida where it rains hard and the sun bakes! No leaks or problems of any kind. I get many compliments on it's styling and interior layout. The only negative is that at 24 feet, the tub/shower is small. Otherwise I'm super comfortable and plan to continue living in my trailer for a few years to come. Buddy Bahama Show less

Never buy a Riverside again! Really poor workmanship trims come loose, water leaks, propane leak due to not checking out and loose connection, slide out is bowed toches one side not the other, flimsy walls that just push in , and outside screws on fender well door and assist handle are not screwed into anything just loose. If you look in any place under shower in where water pump and wayer heater under sinks full of sawdust and metal shavings wood is split with screws in them. The quality of this camper is poor and their customer service is as well if you can get a person on the phone Bought brand new had it back to dealership 2 times before even taking it out since i dont take it to dealership because they never fixed it so i use another rv repair place Riverside does mot stand by their warrenty either Show less

1st trip in March 2021 - shower leaked with water all over floor - it was not caulked at all. Radio did not/does not work. TV did not/does not work - wiring appears to be defective. Trim pieces fell off dinette seat. Cupboard door opened up while on the road (of course, everything fell out. Screen door did not (& still does not) stay shut. Unfortunately- due to covid - 2nd trip, was in Sept 2022, so no warranty. Refrigerator did work (possible wiring problem)- had to use an ice chest; hand -held shower head broke; 2 ceiling lights did not work; heater did not work (had to buy a portable heater). We owned our previous trailer 18 years and never had an issue. Wish we had done more research before purchasing this "cute" trailer. We would not recommend it to anyone. Show less

Solar panel and air conditioner were not put on correct. Drawers and curtains and cabinets falling off the wall. Hot water heater did not work. Shower put in wrong. Leaks in the ceiling, walls and door. Paneling falling off the wall. This was all during our first eight days in the camper. Has been in the shop since then. Would not and will not buy another Riverside product. The lady was also rude and argumentative over the phone. With all these problems unwilling to take back and trade for a new RV. Show less

Perfect trailer camper! Bigger inside than it looks and bed is very comfortable. AC unit super powerful. Why even look further we love our RV. Very lite we towed w a hybrid only 2500lbs. Cabinets everywhere and a storage pass through underneath to store bikes or luggage. Sleeps 4. Our experience has been perfect. Much better than our last camper. Retro 135 is ideal if you don't want to tow a large unwieldy trailer. Show less

I have never seen a product so willfully constructed badly as this RV. No quality assembly at all. materials low low standard, the persons that put this rv together without any integrity or craftsmen ship. Glue and caulking applied without any consideration for accuracy. molding falling off all over the interior, and much much more, sloppy. Don't buy from riverside because all you get is a nightmare for to much money. Its true value should be $1. Show less
