We rented a few different kinds before buying an RV. We were lucky there were others in line to buy this unit and we gave it the thorough once over. Found it to be acceptable and bought it. We have had it for a year now and I can tell you the previous owners took care of it. Everything is original and what isn't there is a receipt for. We just did the acrylic and the rubber roof paint even though it wasn't leaking nor do I think it's ever leaked. It needed shocks when we got it so I changed them and it rides like a new rig. Since the oil and transmission fluids are the life of the vehicle I'm changing them out frequently I just did them both at 40, 000 miles I plan to change both out every other oil change. Let you know how it goes. Everything is rock solid on the rig. We changed the original mattress went from 5 inches thick to 12. Much better. Yes the decor is dated but it works like a top. Not changing a thing until something breaks👍

2016 Itasca Viva has been great. The people that can sleep in it is great. 4 seatbelts for passengers and two seatbelts in the front. The gas mileage is good. We get around 15 mpg. Easy to park on the road. Looking for camp site is easy, since it's only 24 ft. Lots of storage inside the cabin and outside. The shower is quite spacious. Lots of LED lights. Has 2 tv's. Microwave, refrigerator and freezer, propane stove, roof air conditioner / heater, sound system. Went to Oregon coast, and stayed at Beverley Beach, amazingly we got more than 7 channels using just the tv antenna that's on board. Used DVD movies and the sound was great. The only concern I have is, the LED lights on the ceiling keeps burning out. So I have spare ones handy to replace it every time it needs changing. It would have been nice to have a spare tire. I guess you can have it installed separately as I've seen photos of some that has it. Yes the brake squeals. That's minor for me. As for the engine, I don't have any concerns. No breakdowns so far. The back up camera gives like a cob web image at night, still you can see what's behind you, fine in the daytime. Overall the unit is very practical and the value for me is reasonable. Not too expensive to buy, compared to a MB.

Pretty basic dash layout from ford but it is meant to be a delivery van, get the one with the gps upgrade.

Ford issues: fluid leak requiring value cover replacement, passenger side whistling noise, engine light on at 10,000mi, potential "under sprung" springs. Winnebago issues: coach entry door lock stuck, drawer req'd extra latches, bathroom door req'd reframing, A/C rear vent knob detached, dinette req'd reenforcing, A/C noise LOUD, electric cord attachment recalled for torquing. Other Negatives: rearend overhang / bumper drag, unnecessary 3rd burner/oven, tanks oversized. Pluses: Ford diesel solid 16MPG, floor plan, bathroom/shower, large refrigerator. Still dealing with some of these issues.

Drives more like a nice car rather than a truck. Size allows us to travel almost anywhere, yet adequate living space. Decent power ascending any mountain. Comfortable ride. One drawback would like a larger refrigerator. The 23L can sleep up to six. The Trend offers good quality at MRSP. I highly recommend this coach.

The kitchen has a three-burner stove, convection oven/microwave, counter space, and good size sink for washing dishes. There are pantry-type overhead cabinets over the dinette. There is additional interior storage under both dinette benches and under the rear bed. The refrigerator works well and stays cold on both propane or electric.
