I need to recognize Bruce Brown, sales mgr., Jason Pritchard Rv matchmaker, Scott McGovern finance mgr , Jackie (Tennille) Tarter parts expert, and Jon Hedrick Maintenance and RV support mgr. These individuals went above and beyond to make my purchase a total enjoyment. I recommend contacting anyone in this group if you are looking for a RV.

Not much fun having to replace the AC twice. I know the dealership didn't make the AC but they tried to tell me it wasn't under warranty and I would have to pay for the new one. Something about GE would only replace a bad AC once. Had to get manufacturer involved and they explained to dealership there is no such rule under the warranty. The warranty is what protects customers from bad workmanship. Inverter went out and was told same thing. It should have been fixed under warranty because the problem was there 8 months after purchase. I even paid $200 for them to tell me nothing was wrong with it. Got it back home and the next day it was doing it again. I took a video of it so they couldn't tell me I was imagining it. They knew what was wrong from the video but not from me telling them the same thing I showed them. Not very happy with the level of service or the lack of knowledge by the service rep that helped me.

Without sounding too dramatic, Tom Stinnet RV in Clarksville IN has to be one of the most accommodating RV dealerships that I have ever dealt with, and I've purchaed 5 RVs over the many years. Our salesman, Eric Romero is without question the most personable, well informed, willing to help but smart enough to let you make your decision without pressure. Remember the old TV show Dragnet? Eric is definitely the "Just the facts" guy. He went above and beyond for us when our first camper was totaled and we wanted the same model in the new year. He made sure we had the exact the camper we desired. If I could, Eric would get ten stars from me. The service Department is very responsive, and terribly overworked. But I never had anything but exceptional service from the department. Jaimie Hinton is my Service Coordinator and has been nothing but wonderful. He answers my sometimes silly questions, which truthfully are more like i need to run something by someone else because I don't trust my own intuition. But Jaimie is always patient answering my questions and when my damaged camper was there for evaluation for the insurance company, Jaime kept me informed every step of the way. You cant ask for more than that. Another Ten stars for the Service Department. We needed generators because we had a trailer and purchased them from Campers Inn. The Parts Department spent time talking to us about what they had, what each one could do and what we needed to support our camper. The best part was, given my husband and I arent spring chickens, they helped load them in the back of the truck! We bought two so it wasn't a light weight task. The dealership and its other employees/staff are great. The dealership itself is a very nice building. Clean, well appointed and comfortable for visitors. Overall, I would recommend Tom Stinnet Campers Inn to anyone. Ultimately I've purchased two Campers from them. (Ask for Eric...he's awesome)

It pains me to do this, I had a 5 star review from a few years back where the department was able to get me a wench and we were able to go on our camping trip last minute, and I was truly surprised by the customer service. However, I am very disappointed in how this has happened this time around. I purchased a 2022 Catalina Coachmen at the boat and RV show this year. The $400 a month payment was steep but in the long run we would be able to vacation cheaper and enjoy the outdoors with our kiddos. We stayed one night at my in laws, in the backyard, and noticed something was wrong with the slide- it wouldn't extend out- and made arrangements with the warranty to pull it in and have it fixed along with a few miscellaneous items. I was told in May that we would more than likely have the camper back 4 weeks later for Father's day, but there are never any guarantees. The week of our camping trip I called, no one called me, and was told that not only would it be longer, but the parts were still going to take another month, and that they would need to fix it after that adding more time to the delay. Not only were we having to cancel 3 camping trips, but now our travel money is tied in to an unusable camper. We are "supposed" to get it back a week before school starts. I understand things happen, as I am a property manager. I reached out to the service lady Jesse who is fantastic and listened to my concerns who forwarded my information to the manager Mark. Spoke with him, was pretty positive we were on an understanding that this isn't right and someone needed to help with some sort of restitution. Just as if you have a brand new car that just breaks. He said he would call me back the following day, I had to call him 2 days later. At that time, he seemed annoyed I would even call and said all they could do was give us a gift card to the shop, which is fine, but then said he would need to hunt down forest river the company that built it for any further compensation. I was supposed to hear back Friday, it is now Monday. I am a very understanding person. The fact that I have had to call everyone back to check on everything is bad customer service, the lack of interest in someone's financial commitment to a POS camper that is supposed to be brand new is very frustrating, and the fact that there is no process set in place for disgruntled customers who has lost an entire summer of camping to a brand new camper and no one is willing to take accountability or try and make it right. My family has not been able to travel at all now. And there is a true lack of care which is seen in actions. Hopefully we get this fixed sooner than later and I can adjust my review. Until then, I do not suggest purchasing any Forest River product and I wouldn't suggest working with the management team at Tom Stinnett unless you are a top customer with $100,000 camper or a buddy of theirs. They are not prepared to handle supply chain issues and are only willing to point the finger at others.

Rotten steer tires, rusted filters and a diesel leak on the exhaust. BOTH toilets didn't work, it leaks a lot. The owner of the shop we took it too offered to fly us home for Thanksgiving. Campers Inn offered to split some of the costs (for their mistakes). This has been a financial disaster, months of being treated poorly and it's still going on.

We bought a used unit (2018 Grand Designs Imagine) from Stinnet in April of 2021. We had shopped around extensively in the area and felt good about the process at Stinnet. The unit looked like new and it was hard to tell if it had been used at all. We opted to purchase the AGWS warranty Platinum Plus plan through the dealership as we had concerns about the axles on the unit (the axle concerns came from the only bad reviews we found about that model). The dealership assured us there was no recall on the unit and everything was fine. We also purchased the 'Peace of Mind' package to make sure that the service department did a '250 point inspection' and replaced the battery, topped off the propane, etc. to prevent maintenance items from popping up in the first year of our ownership. We took the unit on a short camping trip to Brown County State Park the first weekend after purchasing it. I found two small holes in the roof that first weekend, but being handy, patched them myself and chalked it up to a minor miss by the dealer. We placed the unit in storage till our big trip we had planned for 3 months later. It had not rained on the unit at this point. When we brought the unit home to pack for our trip in August 2021 , we immediately found water damage to the floor under the slide out. At this point we felt like we would have time to bring this up after we returned home from our month long western trip. We wish we would have had more time with the unit, as the entire trip we had problems with electrical ooutlets, the fridge, the water heater, the battery charging system, the battery itself (supposed to be new), the slide out leaking, and the axles- the main item we were worried about. In fact, we were not even 600 miles into our ownership of the unit before we noticed heavy irregular wear on our rear tires in central Missouri (we were traveling out of Louisville). We ended up replacing tires, an axle, multiple faulty outlets, a battery, running propane for our fridge the entire trip, rerouting for the axle replacement and loosing food, lodgings we paid for, incurring more lodging expense outside of our itinerary and dealing with poor warranty service to boot. We never even received a call back from the multiple calls we placed to the dealership to ask for assistance. When we finally returned home, we stopped on the way into town to confront the manager at Stinnet. He hemmed and hawed about their responsibility and assured us after all we had been through that he would still put his own family members in our unit, no worries! He welcomed us to bring the unit in for service to try to iron out the problems. I dropped off the unit to allow them to do the right thing and fix the problems. In the meantime I pursued AGWS for a warranty claim to cover extra lodgings, spoiled foo, broken axles, and new tires. Then, after a month and a half the dealership called us to let us know that some things had been fixed but they needed approval before fixing the floor , as that would be costly. Then they told me that they had an invoice for the work they did to fix the other things the 'Peace of Mind' package should have addressed prior to us taking ownership of the unit. Thats some balls folks. Around this same time, we were told by the people at AGWS that they don't cover broken or bent axles, even though their warranty paperwork clearly states that they do. The infuriating argument I had with them is not fit for this review, by suffice to say they are a con operation; arguing about the meaning of words and playing other semantic games to avoid honoring our claim. At this point, I have finally spoken for the first time on the phone with the manager I talked to on Sept. 14th in person while driving home. He told me no one had notified him that I was trying to get ahold of him, even though I had been requesting a conversation with him for almost 2 months. We spent an additional 3k in repair parts, unexpected lodgings, spoiled food, and incidentals to prevent being stranded a 1000 miles from home while on our trip. This all unfolded from mid April of 2021 to mid September when we returned the unit for repairs. Now it has been 2 more months and they still have the unit while we deal with their poor communication, lack of responsibility, and slow pace. I thought they would rather eat several hundred dollars of repair cost than have a bad review or lawsuit, but here we are. STAY AWAY!
