I have a 2021 Allegro Bus 45OPP, this is our 3rd Tiffin and our 8th motorhome, and this one is loaded , with solar panels, adaptive cruise control, lane changing warnings, and much more. We looked at the Dutch Star and the Tiffins, and the floor plan, cabinetry , fit and finish, price, options, and overall comfort made our choice an easy one. Don’t get me wrong, the Dutch Star is a nice coach, but this one had our name on it. Each Tiffin that we’ve owned have been great with little or no problems. Which is probably why we’ve come back and bought another one. The underneath storage is great. You can store most anything , and with the electronic slide trays I don’t bump my head on the slides bending down . There are a few things I wish this one had, like a cell phone holder for the driver . I took care of this for $30 by buying one, so it was only a small issue. We love our coach , I would gladly recommend buying a Tiffin to anyone. Any RV will have a shake down period, but we have been lucky in that our punch list was not very long and everything was taken care of by LaMesa RV in Orlando , when we bought it. They are a quality outfit and fair to deal with. Good luck with your purchase and hope this review helps.

The TIFFIN 2018 was made before Covid and before TIFFIN was taken over by Thor. In 2018, TIFFIN was not rushing to push a lot of class a RVs off the assembly line. Tiffin service and commitment to the customer in our experience has been second to none. Every manufacturer has its good years and not-so-good years. Our 2018 Tiffin was one of the good ones for sure. The 2018 37AP Allegro Bus has the standard equipment that puts the glamour in “glamping” and has a multi layered and multi clearcoat paint job that is among the best in the business. It has been just the right size for us and it has independent front suspension-steering to “turn on a dime” and get us into campgrounds and camp sites that astonished onlookers. Yet long enough to “live” in very comfortably. When I’m ready to purchase our next RV, it will definitely be another Tiffin.

Have you noticed that the older units get the best reviews. This, I believe, has everything to do with declining quality of the build. This applies not only to the motor coach, but also all the components. It's everything from the chassis to the vent fan. The quality of my coach is extraordinary. I'd like to have a house built this well. The solid wood cabinets, porcelain tile floors, and all the other parts produced by Tiffin are like brand new. I've had almost zero problems with the Spartan chassis. I did one repair to the engine but have always been vigilant on service with regular replacement of hoses, filters, belts, etc. Everything runs great. The other third-party components have always worked flawlessly with proper maintenance. Those include the stove, microwave/convection, dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer, leveling system, electrical components, etc. i have replaced some cabinet latches, and a set of electric steps. I need to replace the "canvas" on one of the awnings and it wasn't hard to find. It still drives great with plenty of power. Can you tell? I love this coach and wouldn't think of buying a new model. If i destroyed this one I would still by another older unit that has been properly maintained.

I bought a 2023 Tiffin Phaeton 37' motorhome in February 2023 and it was the worst purchase of my lifetime. We gave it back to General RV and they sold it a few weeks ago November of 2023. It was in the shop continuously from the time we bought it except for the one trip we were able to take at the end of June for 10 days. After a few days we lost the hot water, air conditioning and heat and returned with a list of 15 more things that were wrong with it. Everything on the motorhome was sub-quality and I mean everything from the wood work in the interior to cargo doors that wouldn't open when the slide outs were open to trim and electrical/computer problems constantly. The washer and dryer had to be replaced, the dish washer, wood work had scratches and mis -alignment of panels and doors, the computer panels were constantly going out it was a terrible joke. Customer was slow to non-existent and went up the chain but never was able to talk to Bob Tiffin and General RV just want to piecemeal the repairs and get it out of here it has to go we'll be in touch. Bottom including the sales tax and the worthless warranties from General RV we lost an easy $100,000. Since Thor has bought which no-one told us when we bought it at the RV show in Salt Lake City from General RV the quality has totally gone to s..it. If it was a plane me and my wife would be dead. I would highly recommend not buying one and most of the reviews are misleading to say the least.

We bought this brand new last year..it’s a 2022. Now we have had issues to get things fixed because Tiffin and Freightliner pass the buck to each other to fix it. This motorhome is built on a freighliner chassis. The real problem is for 450,000 dollars we didn’t get quality for sure. Tiffin manufacture forgot to put the braces on the washer and dryer and unfortunately it only became noticeable one month after our warranty was done and they refused to cover the cost of getting it put right with braces. Cost us 1300 dollars to get it done. Then we are one week into our trip to the US and we had a power problem and we ended up getting that changed because it was defective. Cost us 2500 (US so it’s was about 3500 Canadian). Then on the same trip we made it to Odessa Texas and the air system was giving us grief. The motorhome wouldn’t air up so we couldn’t travel. Found a mobile mechanic cost us 300(US so at least 400 canadian ). It needed a dump valve but unfortunately none to be found close to us but he did show us a way to force it to air up. This entailed for my husband who is 70 years old to go under the motorhome amd press the reset button underneath the motorhome. We get to Tuscon and got the runaround from the dealership(La Mesa) and the freightliner truck service (Velocity Truck Center) about who could figure this out. The dealership told us they had a meeting with Tiffin and freightliner and it was decided it was a freightliner issue. They charged us for 2 hours of diagnostic 530 again that’s close to 800 Canadian and told us not their problem. La mesa then charged us 1 hour for diagnostic and three hours to install the dump valve. That cost is 2100 that’s about 3000 Canadian. So this Brand New Motorhome has cost us at least 10,000. Tiffin quality is not there for sure neither is their warranty. I advise anyone STAY AWAY FROM TIFFIN. As soon as we can get rid of it we will.

Best experience we’ve had with an RV. Started with a bumper pull way old style - owned 3 then a fifth wheel toy hauler - but this is a palace on wheels. So comfortable- quiet to drive - tows the Jeep like nothing is behind me. My wife loves her double vanity, bath and clothing storage and shower seat, kitchen pull out pantry and spice rack, organization. The microwave/convection oven, quiet dishwasher, amazing washer and dryer - just like a real home. Huge fridge with an ice maker. A lot of fun. We camp with others everyone ends up in our rig! Only one with the space and comfort. The storage underneath pull out can’t be beat. TV’s and sound also great. Love the addition of solar we did - we use almost no propane unless I cook on the stove. Mostly we grill and crock pot. Although we have baked in our convection oven! The fireplace is a dream on a bad weather day, the pull out desk perfect for paying the bills and checking email on the road. All systems work well and as needed we’ve updated batteries etc. Highly endorse this particular year for Tiffin and floor plan. We have never had a def problem people speak of and being on top of maintenance we are quite happy. If you are ready to be road warriors this is an exceptional model!

The 45OPP's floorplan is the most optimal layout among Class As: The Dining area is on the passenger side so you are looking at your campsite not your neighbors. A mid ship 1/2 bath assures that no one gets "trapped" if someone is taking a shower. The Power Glide Chassis is the leader in the industry with Multiplex wiring, that allows faster/easier servicing. 60 degree wheel cut makes turning a dream. Storage is abundant inside and out. Service and warranty work offered at Red Bay, Alabama is industry leading.

We loved our Tiffin. Our travel style ranges from long weekends and up to 6-month trips - with 7 passengers! Compared to our previous class C (which was a really sweet rv), we are thrilled with this model. The towing capacity is spot on, as we've towed our Mercedes Sprinter nearly every mountain in America. The floor plan is perfect. Bunk beds make a great escape on travel days and optimize sleeping. I appreciate that the master bedroom has full privacy from the bunks. The huge living room can sleep up to 4 people on beds! This much space makes for awesome space for meals, games, and for us, mobile work/education stations. My wife and I split all the driving. She's never driven a big RV before but it rides so easily that long cross-country trips are enjoyable for her. We maximized every square inch of the basement using Costco's black tubs. The bathroom shower is huge. I'm 6'5"/ 280lbs, and enjoy the shower more than most hotel showers. The toilet is fine for non-giants, but could use some extra legroom in my opinion (size 16 shoe and all).
