Bought it and sold it two years later. Too many issues to even go into. The quality and craftmanship was horrible. We are done with anything made by this company and had nothing but problems. Stay away from anything made by Thor...... They provide nothing in guides when purchasing new. Learned mostly from the web about others experiences. Ok, A note from the inside to all who would think about purchasing an RV of any kind. Every single manufacturer since covid 2019, has dropped quality control. There is absolutely none. No tests of any kind have been done. Trailers are coming missing parts, parts installed backwards, plumbing not done, electrical not hooked up and lots of damaged stuff. Oh and constant recalls. I even ruffled some feathers asking the manufacturer's where the quality went and why. I was promptly told to shut up to keep my job. This lack of quality control leaves all the dealerships to catch everything that should have been caught through quality control. The warranties deny as much as they can which will leave you very sore after spending 60k - 150k+ I have dealt with some very angry customers and completely understand where they are coming from but also have my hands tied with the manufacturers. I haven't seen any trailers since 2019 that didn't need an extensive amount of work straight from the manufacturer. Expect most of your RV adventures will be to the dealership for repairs. Unless you have expendable money I would never ever recommend an RV. Show less

Thor is absolute garbage with zero quality control. BEWARE BUYING THOR Anything from a 2018 gemini with 3k miles 1-rollers on slide miss aligned and rolling over rivits from factory 2-furnace gas line miss routed pinching off gas line 3-rollers mounting screws half way torqued and loose 4-misc bolts screws and debri left under slide 5-entertainment center fried after 3 uses 6-various fairings and interior covers not fastened or secure 8-electrical wires ziptied to disconnect when slide is extended Had the pleasure of hearing from another Thor gemini owner and same issues and more BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE Show less

I bought this motorhome, my Mini Gem, in June 2020 at Motor Home Specialists in Alvarado Texas. My only other RV experience was a 3-week rental of a Winnebago Travato earlier in 2020. I have had many small problems and a couple of big problems with my Gemini (Mercedes Benz chassis) since purchase, but I love my motorhome, and am working with Thor to make my Gem everything I hoped it would be when I made the big investment as a 50 recent widow. I need to send out words of praise to Kayla Tee who monitors the Gemini/Compass Facebook group and steps in to offer assistance whenever she feels the group is not completely sufficient in their answers to other owners’ questions. And I especially need to praise Tristen Singleton who has helped me get reimbursement from Thor for defective batteries, other warranty problems that have happened during my travels, and given me some other important answers to questions that have vexed me as a newbie. He promptly answers emails and does research to try to address my issues. I did not feel this way about Thor until I made these two important connections, but as of this day, Kayla and Tristen have made my recent interactions with Thor a very “user friendly” experience, and they have my complete gratitude. I hope the executives at Thor read this review and give Kayla and Tristen big raises and lots of kudos for the goodwill they are generating for Thor by being excellent company representatives. Thor and Camping World of Syracuse NY are of the worst two companies to do business with in the camping industry. We purchased a 2018 thor gemini 23TK new. We have never witnessed such incompetence with a company such as Camping World of Syracuse NY and Thor of Elkhardt Indiana. Right from strong arm tactics to force you to buy duplicate warenty packages, to service people who should be sweeping the floors not fixing coaches. Purchased this half finished piece of shit in December 2017. Zero quality assurance from the bottom side of this unit. Ie: gen exhuast straps not fastend, mud flaps never finished. Wiring just haning, no tie straps, truck tail pipe never tightened... Shortly after the purchase, went out on the first trip 65 days long. Please find the list of discrepancy's this coach demonstrated while on the first experience with it: 1.Slide out topper (Repair Paid for by Dodge's) 2.Refrigerator Door cover scratched CW service 3.Bed slats broken under bed 4.Kitchen sink window screen, broken latches 5.Fresh water tank plastic pipe filings and cut outs, causing 12v pump to cavitate 6.Licence plate holder installation (repaired by Seven O's, paid by Dodge's) 7.Dinette slide out trim re-fastening (repaired by Seven O's, paid by Dodge's) 8.Black water holding tank indicates full within the first week, no change in status 9.Venting issue, grey water tanks, only one is vented? Both valves must b open 10.Generator muffler clamp at manifold rubbing on gen shroud (Dodge paid repr) 11.Generator exh pipe, one screw exit coach 2nd hanger never bolted(Dodge paid repr) 12.Mud flaps bolts not tightened, bolts fell out, replaced. (Dodge paid repr) 13.Truck tail pipe muffler clamp never tightened, nut fell off (Dodge paid repr) 14.Grey Show less

We are in our third season with the Gemini. The Sprinter chassis has been dependable and delivered great mileage during this time. Would definitely recommend any class B or C with a Sprinter chassis. The box is another story. Workmanship is poor and repairs are constant. Besides the little things like fixing drawers and replacing screws that are always falling out from somewhere the biggest issue so far was when the front cowl above the cab came loose in the beginning of the second season. The rattle made any trip unbearable. After a $700 fix its happening again in our third season. In my opinion this was more of a design issue than workmanship.Looking for a Class A next year. Won’t be a Thor product. Show less

Love my Gemini but..recalls yes, this past summer the Ford Transit Blew the turbo on a trip and as of Oct 31 it won’t start and has been in the Ford dearlership for going on 8 weeks. They have NO idea. What do I do now? Show less

Purchased in August 2017. Use it to go to dog shows and agility trials. Ford transit diesel gets 14.5 mpg on average. I purchased this because I needed something reliable. I lack automotive/mechanical skills. I needed something that is easy to pack up and back up since I travel often by myself and w an old English sheepdog.I immediately determined that the hinge for cabinet doors was overkill. The door fell off after minimal use. Repaired using wood fill ( Home Depot). The closure for bathroom door dropped screws after several days of use. Repaired w a silicone glue that hardened and has held. So I did all the screws for the magnet that holds door closed. Silicone around shower basin since it had none. Repaired sliding drawer under bed with a new latch that I purchased off Amazon. Replaced all the slats under bed (IKEA). I had to cut off 1 in from the slats.Put a matress topper on top of the matress it came with. Replaced some gaskets around the storage compartments outside of coach. Lastly installed bump stops (Ford dealer installed but bought online). Overall I am very happy w my vehicle. After reading tips from other RVers on how to keep it cool in Fl. Sun and how to secure dog crate, I feel I have the right vehicle for 3 of us... hubby, dog and me. I love how easy it is to set up/ take down. Refrigerator,tv, micro, lights, water,ac, rear slide, awning ( love the auto retract feature if too windy, all work very well. No problems w window shades or sunroof. Love fuel economy. Slept on sofa. It’s short even w side bolsters out. 10,000 miles1.5 years old. Added window tinting to cab and purchased custom fit window reflecting shades. Gives me more interior room, easy to put up (suction cups) helps keep vehicle cool. Use both ceiling fans, battery operated fans to help AC. Dry camped for 4 days 85degrees. Also carries enough water in water storage tank. Store outdoors and use mothballs and furnace screens to keep out wasps. There needs to be insulation between generator and floor of vehicle. Too much heat comes off generator. Especially bad in summer if dry camping and using ac. Could use a door to open to let out some heat from that area. Bathroom is small unless you open door that closest off main living area from bedroom. Not well insulated from heat and cold but both heater and ac was good & we were very comfortable day and night. Convection/micro is good but placed too low. Sink & faucet in kitchen very nice. Show less

Purchased new on August 9th 2017 from rv dealer 6 hours from home. 45 minutes on highway got message on dash "drive to clean". Stopped, called rv dealer. After 3 tries got live person who said that was normal. Go ahead and drive. Took 2 hours before message said cleaned. 1 hour from home message was back. Rv seemed low on power. Took to chassis dealer 3 days later. Spent 3 weeks in shop. Rv had more problems when we picked it up. Chassis has problems that are hard to diagnose. Coach is poor quality. Keep finding screws on the floor. Many hinges and hardware are loose because screws were stripped on installation. Wires hanging down everywhere underneath and inside. Door lock broken.laminate peeling everywhere. Bed is uncomfortable. When removed plastic from new mattress found mouse droppings all over it. Have had rv for 5 weeks now and still can't use due to repairs that are needed. Rv dealer has not helped nor offered any compensation. The original problem was a bad sensor on exhaust system. Dealer replaced egr valve, egr cooler, and turbo charger that did not have to replaced. Now we have a brand new engine that has had major disassembly and major components apart and replaced. Hardly a new rv anymore. Have not had a chance yet to test other components such as appliances etc... Would not buy a thor unit again. Very poor quality and assembly. Show less

Extremely poor workmanship , first day cabinet door fell off. W Pacheco batteries would not turn in had to replace solinoid switch, bought in Sept 2016 used once in Oct water heater did'nt work spent winter at dealers Finally got it back in May 2017 used twice every thing finally works. Oops filed fresh water tank for first time it leaked, found out that a valve was open the location not mentioned in poor owners manual which covers Class A, C, and B+. In 3 months the factory warranty expires, I've put about 200miles on it I' afraid the trip I plan wine a disaster. Wish me luck. Would I buy another Thor product you guess. Show less
