Purchased on September 4, 2023 since then it has been in my possession for 10 days as of October 25, 2023. Before it left the dealers lot we had no A/C in the cab. The brakes were mushy. I went back over to the office to report this and found the office closed. Now we had to drive it home as we dropped off our old camper to pick this one up. On the way home we found the headlights were not aligned. The low beams were only about 5 feet off the front on the RV and the high beams were not a whole lot better. When on high beams on coming traffic did not flash there light for me to go to low beams. I took it back to the dealer 7 days later because I felt it was unsafe to drive. It sat at the dealers for 20 days before they did anything, and that was after I made calls to Thor, camping worlds owner. They said it had to go to Ford for the A/C, Brakes and lights. So the 3 of them sent it to a ford dealer 3 1/2 hours away. (AS no local dealer would work on it) and advised me I had to pick it up. So after another 17 days I picked up the camper from ford. A/C was fixed brakes checked and working fine. Headlights not adjustable per ford. So get it home and decide to see if I could fix the lights. I take off the shroud around the light and guss what there are the adjustments for the headlights. So I contact the dealer and offer to fix the lights for the cost of the fuel for the trip which totaled $203.76. They owed me 30 gallons anyway as tank was not full at pick up time. So with the 30 gallons off the bill it would be $118.63 for my time to fix the lights. Camping world offed me a $50.00 in store credit. So I called Thor and they told me they would not pay me to align the headlights I had to take it back to the dealer and they would fix them. This would put me back to square one as the dealer already told me they could not fix them. So in addition to the above we found before we took the R/V home the door latch dose not open correctly you have to yank on it for all your worth to get it open. The left mud flap was loose. Night stand on right side of bed was loose and sealer at wall was cracked. Wall top next to microwave was scuffed up. Door under bed for access to water tank was damaged on the bottom. Ladder for bed over cab was missing. Both outside mirrors were scratched up. Then to top it all off we get it home from ford and level up and run the slide out and we have a water leak coming out under the kitchen cabinet. Also another leak on the floor under the center of the window on the back wall. All this additional stuff is being ordered or will check it when we go back for the replacement parts. So with all this on a brand new Thor freedom traveler a30 we are out at the least $153.76 more to own it. Along with I have to repair my headlight issue. Now keep in mind I'm 76 years old and 100% disabled veteran. I would not recommend buying any Thor Product or dealing with Camping World dealers

Just replaced the cabin batteries now. Thor & Good Sam do not stand by their customers. You are basically on your own when you drive off the lot. Would not recommend either of these companies to anyone. Very disappointed.

We've owned the motor home since June of 2022, when we purchased it from Camping World, FT. Worth, TX. My wife and I are in our mid 70's and retired and were looking for a comfortable unit, relatively easy to drive and use. We like the style and arrangement of this motor home, but our experience with it has been horrible! The night we brought it home, we discovered that literally, nothing worked on generator power. A Good Sam tech. recommended I return it the next day. I did, and was accused by the CW,FTW svc. mgr. of breaking the whole thing. I ended up taking the RV to a repair shop in Cleburne, Tx. After 6 weeks, they found and repaired 34 electrical mis-connections. I was told by THOR, they warranty the repairs. They paid only 1/2 the billing. Now, after using it for a couple of weeks, we have discovered the chasis air conditioning is insufficient, the generator is a 30 amp. model and should be a 50 amp., for two ceiling AC's, along with a few other problems, and it is back in the shop to hopefully get THOR to warranty and fix the problems.

This motor coach has been nothing but trouble since day 1. We have a list of 10 items that had to be fixed by Camping World. We took it on our first trip and now the check engine light is on. No where close to us works on them, I guess we should have questioned a little more before buying. The bed in the front cab was wired wrong, AC blowing hot air, neither ladder will fit on brackets for bunk bed or bed in the front, radio wasn't wired up, front headlight cover was falling off, owning cover fell off bringing it home, electrical outlet won't work, and black tank value won't open so it can be flushed. Several drawers fly open while going down the highway. I guess Thor's quality control department is not doing a very good job. Camping World Greenville, NC has done a great job fixing all of Thor's mistakes.

To date this coach has 27 ticket items to be repired and counting, the two major ones being fresh water tank leaking into coach, this coach has 1 main slide in with the side will not close called good sams roadside not enough tec's to handle the overwelming demand of calls, so much for road side assistance. Very poor quality as far as workmanship goes, my guess would be build them as fast as you can ,get them sold and let the consumer deal with the issues. Our biggest regret is buying this coach.

From day one there have been problems with heating and air conditioning related to Thor's installation, water pump issues, excessive heater noise, poor fit and finish, cab over bed motor problems, electrical ground issues and improperly installed engine cover. I went on top of the RV and noticed that there were new sealant around the fixes, ac, other pipes, etc. Called the dealership because of the wet floor and not knowing where came from and sealing used coaches are customary. I'm nervous now because I believe weve been taken. They will look at it next week.
