I purchased the unit new and it is absolutely beautiful, but has been leaking since I bought it. The first leak came from the front cap. There were 6 broken screws causing the seal to fail. Two months later it was leaking again. They discovered the overhead running lights were not cut properly and had to be sealed. During the summer I did not notice any leaks because of the dry heat, but when winter came it was leaking again. It seems the termination strip at the rear did not have the seal strip removed and the roof was cut too short causing the rear wall to separate. Thor refuses to address it because it is past the one year warranty, although I thought the structure had a 2 year warranty. They also say there is no evidence that I had the seals inspected, although the inspection does not involve removing components to inspect under seals. The estimate to repair is over $20,000. Very disappointed to have an RV with a price tag of almost $200,000 and you can't drive it in the rain without getting soaked.

SORRY. What was to be wounderfull turned nightmare. 3 years in first year in Camperworld that's a different review, and just when we thought we had somewhat put it behind us with 8 thousand miles and a run in with a possible bird, or just ruff roads in CA. our cab on class c ford super c has sepperated RV from CAB silicon and screw connected. We are poor from paying Ins. extended warrantee ins. and failure of thor and there warrantees. camper worlds bad faith in repairs and holding RV long periods of time running out warranty of one year. leaving camaerworld and turning to private repair people just another failure in service complaints with National General Ins. paying for bad repairs and leaving us with problems has been no help either. It is now back for problem and we are in need to deal with them again. We are hoping we won't need to stay home with reservation in Jan. and no help with payment for repairs. Thor, camperworld, National Ins. are all the same people I believe and hamper repairs and service of RVers all over. PS don't buy a RV in Texas it will become a sinking boat. Stewarts

If I could save 1 person from going through the nightmare we have, this review will be worth writing. Do not buy a Thor R.V. We bought this one brand new and have had so much trouble with it. Nothing has worked right from the beginning. It has been in the shop more than with us. We had to send it back to the Thor manufacturing facility for 3 months because it was sold to us unfinished. The outside structure cracked so they fixed it, and the day we got it back it cracked in the same places. It has a structural problem obviously. The levelers had to go back to the shop 4 different times. When we took it out for the first time it dumped hydrolic fluid all over the ground at a state park. Happened the second time we got it back as well. The shower leaked all over the floor in the living area the first shower we ever took. The radio system has gone out twice. The slides have broken 3 times. This is only a small part of the issues with ours. When you spend 150000 on something, you want to enjoy it. I would enjoy watching this thing go off a cliff somewhere.

We bought this unit new knowing it was a compromise from the outset. My wife wanted a gas powered Class A and I wanted a diesel engine. We have had the unit for four months and taken six trips of varying lengths. Having owned an RV previously, we also understood that perfection doesn't exist, although many expect it. Our dealer had us stay overnight in the unit as part of the delivery process and many of the "bugs" that come from the factory were resolved during that process. We are very pleased with our purchase. The drivability of the Class C platform combined with the power of the Ford diesel make it a perfect blend of comfort and practicality. The unit has two slide outs (one full wall with the triple rail feature) and they work flawlessly every time. We had one issue with the auto level system but that was easily corrected with a quart of automatic transmission fluid. My wife wanted lots of closets and this floor plan delivers. We had some problems with the closet rods coming loose during transport, but I installed one of those hanging racks, screwed clamps into the floor and duc taped all the joints. No problems since. We use a roof mounted DISH Gator system, but I had to supplement it with an HD wireless distribution system. Although the system doesn't have all the features of The Hopper, for the price, I'm getting good satellite reception at most campsites. On the rare occasion that the roof top unit is blocked by trees, we just use our Unlimited Verizon wireless to access TV, Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Acorn TV. The full body paint is easy to maintain, the interior fit and finish is very good, and the AC system has kept up beautifully in the Texas summer heat. A couple of problems persist... can't figure out how to make the ice maker work in the residential fridge, there is a short in the Jensen radio system, and the Axxera radio that came with the truck chassis is fairly sub par when compared to a Ford Sync system. We really wanted twin recliners, but the living area sofa unfolds into a bed that we use to relax and watch the big TV. We really are very pleased with our Four Winds Super C 35SD.

Run away from Thor products !!

The 3Trac system on the full wall slide is proving to be the best system for the full wall slide. Not one glitch in the system to date. Full body paint is very nice (Pacifica) and we have received many compliments.

This ford power stroke diesel cruised up the same hill with ease. Towing a 16 ft. Horses trailer with two horses in it. The inside is so beautiful and comfortable. With or without electric you can do it all! These RVs are the best for luxury and towing. Easy to drive, park and level.. Perfect for long hauls or a weekend camp out. This diesel engine is the way to go!
