This camper is wrought with issues. PC board for water heater went bad after 3 years. Thermostat went bad. PC board melted and Thermocouple did not do its job. Pex fittings have small leaks under sink. Valves connected to Pex are cheap plastic and have a tendency to leak. Control panel inside camper has a switch for electric water heater but there is no electric for this model water heater. Model G6A-8E water heater is strictly gas, but the switch comes on when you toggle it. Its just inoperative for this model water heater. Entry door has a magnet that holds it open but after so many times pulling door shut from magnet, the magnet loosens from rear of camper and strips itself from the metal siding. Very poor design to say the least. Construction of bench seats is shoddy. A 1/4"-3/4" gap between frames. Staples barely keeping this thing together. Last but by no means least. Good Luck reaching out to Manufacturer. My advice. Run as fast as you can from this Manufacturer of this model or anything they build. Run fast!

We were so excited to take our new 18RD for our first trip in Colorado. Fully charged dual batteries and Solar - it couldn't keep the fridge going for a single night. No power in the morning, no furnace. Piece of junk for dry camping. Can't get a response from the manufacturer.... read more

I don't think I would buy any RV with a wood frame and floor. Your just asking for problems down the road. Aluminum frame and floor support is much better. The 1st thing I look for is under or in the front pass-thru storage, if I see would framing I walk away.... read more

Thanks to Norman Campers in Marietta, GA. for being available for our numerous questions. Love the radio, speakers etc.after we figured out how to use it especially with the IPod. Great small trailer!!! Looking forward to our other trips including going to Yellowstone next year. I give our little 18rd 5 stars.
