i can promise honesty throughout this review bc the cost of rv's has increased so drastically that being forthright and professional in your job is essential and my experience w Opitimum RV was the opposite in fact probably worse. Im a former vet, current industrial electrician w zero criminal history and God fearing. Optimum RV was dishonest w many major items starting w changing the final price twice on me. I was at the finish line approved and ready to sign until they told me if i didn't purchase a $11k extended warranty the deal would not got through even though they told me it already had... basically trying to coerce me to signing. It had already taken 9 days for the paperwork to even show up then have an 11k charge that i was told to be $2k. Failed to mention it was priced per year.... whoops.! I asked for it to be removed and they refused saying another party already purchased this vehicle even though i have a text clearly saying it was being held for me. This nightmare three week process was like walking through hot glass just to get to the other side only to find out they lied.... very very frustrating so hopefully don't waste your time bc the are jokers just trying to catch a victim. DO NOT purchase from this dealer, keep driving to the next dealer! The sales team was fine but all interactions with the Service Team and manager has been atrocious! The rudeness we have experienced from them over the phone (when they actually return or take the call) is beyond anything I have ever dealt with EVER! The poor workmanship in work that they did do has resulted in my black tank leaking and has been going on for 1 year. I will now have to take my unit in for them to repair AGAIN and because we live full-time in our unit, we will have a hotel expense again. I asked that they cover this seeing as it is their fault and I shouldn't be out the money, but they refused. How this location is still in business I will never know. Please for the love of all that is camping...DO NOT give them your money the frustration and disappointment you will have to deal with isn't worth it! Show less

Lynn our sales guy was great but 4 days to pickup our trailer after it was prepped picked up a filthy trailer with both black and grey tanks full tire that was allmost flat they were supposed to fix im thin king they just aired it up 995 for prep what prep they did i have no idea Show less

Terrible service, told me on Monday they would be by on Tuesday and repair my rv, I called Wednesday and they told me Thursday or Friday they would be here guaranteed I called Friday morning and Kat told me later in day they would come, I had to be home for when they came and Kat would call when they were on their way, sat home all week no one showed or called, very unprofessional and unorganized I wouldn’t recommend to anyone and I am easy going person Show less

First, let me start off by saying if you want to deal with a friendly and professional team. Look no further than OptimumRV in Zephyrhills. Colby was our sales person and guided us through the whole process with ease. This was my family's first travel trailer purchase, and he took the time to explain to us all the pros and cons with travel trailers and fifth wheels. After we decided on a fifth wheel that we completely fell in love with. We signed all the paperwork and headed home with huge smiles on our faces . Sadly, we made the mistake of not measuring where we wanted to store it and I ended up calling back to cancel that purchase and went with a travel trailer instead with no issues. Before the service team delivered it to our home, they verified that everything was working properly, and answered all our new owner questions. First of all, the deal was pretty good. It was all they did AFTER the sale that made it such that I would recommend finding a better dealer --that price on the front end isnt the whole story. First of all, if you know anyone who has purchased an extended warranty from these bubbas, please encourage them to check what they were promised vs. what they actually got --call the warranty company and ask for a copy of the contract. I did place that call to "National Warranty" (I don't like their attitude), but based on nothing but a gut feeling I found out that I was sold an 84-month contract but the warranty company had it contracted for 60 months. I tried for most of a day to reconcile this, but it was only in the late afternoon did I get any attention, and even that proved only to be more lies. (they promised me a refund, I never got it) Canceling that warranty is proving to be very difficult. You have to get a signed form from them, the dealer. . . so far, I haven't received that form. Also, when I purchased the vehicle my contract was processed that day, I signed after closing, late in the evening, and the bank had it that same day, charging daily interest. I didn't take delivery until a week later, meaning that I am paying interest over a week before delivery, and, if there was an irreconcilable delivery issue, I am not sure what would have happened. Just plain bad business procedures there. There were delivery issues; I spent hours walking in the heat, talking with this group, that group, to finally get most of that resolved. For example, one issue was that I couldn't test my generator --the problem, I was told, that it was out of gas and that they weren't putting any in. Also, I couldn't test my leveling system. I was told the parking lot was too out of level (it wasn't even close to being that far out of level) I am Just trying to give you a flavor of what to expect if you want to endure these guys. Also, my trade-in. That payoff on my trade hasn't made it to the bank yet! I have been paying interest on TWO RV loans for over two weeks now! The bank that was supposed to receive the money has an inquiry out to them, but even Bank of America hasn't gotten their attention yet. Much less the money. I am not sure how the extra interest I paid is going to be resolved. I have spoken to the GM, "Johnny" it took over an hour to get to him, and then took about another hour to get the owner's Email address, "Denver" I was told that he was a straight shooter. Well, he hasn't responded yet, nor, have any of my current issues been resolved. So, yes, they have pretty good prices on the front end. But, to me, just not worth it. Show less
