This Newmar Essex has been an absolute Pleasure to Own Since New when we took factory Delivery. It Drives and Performs with the 500 Cummins absolutely Beautiful! This Amish Built Newmar Coach is in my Opinion the absolute Best When it comes to Overall Fit and Finish! The Newmar Paint process is tops in the RV industry! 😎🇺🇸👍 Show less

Nice looking on the outside, that’s were the good starts, breaks down every time I go to use it, constantly blowing fuses, chassis is under recall and they can’t fix it. I will never by a Newmar again. No support what so ever. Show less

Great looking and comfortable coach but that’s where the good ends. The coach has been back to the factory twice and back to the dealership numerous times with minor and major issues. Newmar only gives a 12 month warranty on the “house” systems and will not help with what would seem reasonable expectations of basic structural and electrical failures related to their suppliers. This is my second Newmar coach (2015 London Aire and 2020 Essex). I would not recommend anyone buy a Newmar and plan to sell my Essex in the near future (hopefully I’ve repaired the majority of deficiencies for the next owner). Show less

Considering my wife and I have never even owned a camper let alone a 45 ft luxury Motorcoach, this Essex has made our journey an amazing one. After a few helpful You Tube videos and a little real world training…this coach is a joy to drive. The 500 HP Cummins diesel pusher has you passing trucks on most hills and will pull a tow car without noticing it’s there. We hope to get a newer Essex one day…this one has spoiled us for sure! I noticed how many reviewers have compared their Essex to an apartment. I found it funny because we often comment how much nicer this is than our first apartments! I’d be hard pressed to think of anything it is missing…washer/dryer, King sized bed, fireplace, 3 TV’s, full-sized shower, etc., etc. We have spent the last couple of years in a very nice Motorcoach resort…full of Newells, Prevosts, Marathons…our Essex fits in just nicely and the savings fit nicely in our bank account! I am trying to make repairs to an Essex model by Newmar. Newmar said a service advisor would call me, it never happened. I sent an email to parts 5 days ago, no response. I requested schematics and drawings for 12 volt system on the house side and they claim they do not have those. What little information I received was not very helpful. All they want to do is force you to go to a dealer. I was specifically told they would not have a technician help me because I'm an owner of a Newmar coach, can you believe that. Buyers beware. it is an amazing coach without the prevost price tag newmar has been great to answer any questions we have had even being across the border i would buy one again 100% so many little details in the coach that you find as you use it make you appreciate it that much more Show less

In your quest for a perfect coach I would rate the Newmar Essex one on the very top. Livability like a well appointed apartment. Driving like a luxury vehicle and very quiet. Towing, well, I towed a Jeep and really never knew I was towing a vehicle except when I looked in the camera screen and saw the Jeep. Quality was superb upon taking care of a few items the previous owner neglected. If you are seeking a coach for road travel this is it. Last, power is the ability to climb mountain roads in Colorado with a Jeep in tow and pass other RV's and trucks accelerating up hill. Show less

Absolutely a luxury and quality coach. Would love to keep the unit but can not due to wife's health. Traveled one major trip to Denver and found it is like driving a luxury auto. Has absolutely everything need to travel with extended stay. All components have been check and serviced. Show less

You need to make appointments well in advance but once at Newmar their service department is fast, efficient, friendly, clean and you can count on them to treat you fairly. Having owned this coach, our 4th Motorhome I would put it up against any. It drives like a dream, smooth, so much so I have to remind myself to slow down it is not a car. Sets up in a few minutes and you are glamming in luxury. Show less

This Newmar Essex drives like a dream. A Lot of people can look at a 45' Motorhome and get intimidated by the size. The Coach Tracks down any lane like an arrow. The visibility is fantastic even in the blind spots as with the side view cameras there are no blind spots. The Coach tows a towed car as if it wasn't there at all but yet you can see it safe and sound in the rear camera at all times. The coach floats on its Spartan chassis like it's riding on a cloud. Once at your destination nd the 4 slides are open there is ample room and luxury living just as if you were home. The storage capacity is huge inside and in the storage bays. The Generator is a 12.5 KW Quiet Diesel which provides enough power to run anything you need in the coach while running all 3 A/C units to bee cool and comfortable in the Summer or the Hydro Hot heat in the winter. You can't go wrong with a Newmar Coach. Show less
