We have owned this unit for 12 years and it is a great unit. All the slides still work. Everything is still functioning. We have had to have no major work on this unit. There’s plenty of storage. It’s very livable. This unit sleeps eight people with the ability to take the storage above the garage and turn that into a bunk so three full-size beds, a queen bed and a sleeper loveseat. Excellent RV for active family that enjoys camping and their toys! Nice deck, with railing, for a view of the river, lake or beach! Extra sleeping and a generator to go off grid! Large residential refrigerator and covered slides. Can't go wrong with this unit. We are nearing retirement and need to downsize. This is hands down the best RV I owned to this day. I have spent a lot of time in campgrounds and visited with a lot of campers. I have experienced them struggle and suffer with problems and helped dozens and dozens of them fix or resolve their issues. When I look back at my camper, I have been very thankful for the quality and craftmanship that has allowed me to trust and enjoy camping in this camper. If and when a problem arises, I have always been ready to address it and have worked meticulously to make sure that any problem discovered or experienced was resolved quickly and professionally with the highest quality and craftmanship obtainable. I rate the floorplan a 4 really only for one reason. The reason is surrounding the ladder to the upper inside loft bed. If you have the sofa bad deployed, and someone sleeping in the loft, you have to remove the ladder to use the sofa bed which means you remove their means to get up and down. It is fairly easy to resolve and even help someone get up or down and work around this, but it still exists and is the reason for the rating of a 4 otherwise I absolutely love the floor plan. The airborne 5th wheel is so nice and completely stops chucking while towing. The axles and trailer suspension enable this toy hauler to glide down the road with ease and comfort. The powered patio awning is really easy to use and the wind detection system automatically rolls it up if the winds pickup. This is nice if you leave it out and can not make it back to roll it up in a popup summer storm. The kitchen table has a leaf that allows it to expand and there is two more chairs for the table under the master bed. All of the TV's have HDMI and I have used Roku, Apple TV and FireTV on them with the built in internet router. This router supports Wifi-As-WAN which allows you to tether to your phones hotspot, mifi puck or supports a USB Cellular stick. So, if the internet at the campground is good, you only need one connection to support your entire camping internet experience. The side by side refrigerator is awesome. It even has an ice maker, which is super cool. There is plenty of room for all of the food to feed a hungry crew. The garage has extra height, which was a plus for me. I was able to drive in a golf-cart with a lift kit and large tires and fit without cutting or modifying the golf cart canopy. The exterior has been kept up and washed and waxed on a regular basis. I love the painted body. Other campers I have had the stickers seem to always require maintenance and begin to peel and roll or fade quickly. The onboard generator is awesome, especially if you are staying overnight in a Wal-Mart parking lot on a long journey, you have all of the amenities that you would have with shore power connections. Propane line was cracked and I had to take it in to the dealership to repair. The refrigerator quit working after one month. I was charged for a service call even though the dealership and manufacturer were aware of this problem. If you buy a brand new camper you expect everything to work at least in the beginning. Love the layout of the camper but had to purchase a new mattress as well. It was like sleeping on the floor. I will never buy another sportsmen. Poor quality. Show less

No issues despite full timing for 6 months. Handled road vibration well. Kitchen is a little tight. Tows fine but gas mileage is worse than expected due to high profile and width. Overall happy with trailer. Show less

KZ Sportsmen Classic 180TH, ulta-light toy hauler is an inexpensive and well designed alternative to toy haulers requiring fifth wheels or super duty vehicles for towing. The living space is well designed and the appliances are excellent. There is ample storage for lots of stuff. My only complaint is in the overall quality of materials and workmanship. The cabinet frames are always vibrating loose and have to be inspected, re-glued or re-fastened every Spring before the first camping trip. Similarly, the D-Rings in the floor and all of the outside screws, bolts and fasteners tend to vibrate loose and need to be tightened each Spring before the first camping trip. I have now installed lock-tight on all of the fasteners to minimize loosening and loss. The bottom line with KZ is that you get what you pay for in an economical camper. But if you are willing to put some time into it to improve or upgrade their construction and fastener design, then it is worth the investment to own one of their campers. Show less

Kz the manufacturer is awful. Been in and out of the shop since I got it 2 years ago. And it takes 6 months plus to get any thing. I just got my cabinet door I ordered 6 months ago. Still waiting on the stickers I ordered. This is the 2nd round of stickers. Quality sux. And kz customer service sux. Do not buy their product . Show less

No pre-drill’s for the wood support for bed fridge anything Bed wood was warped and had to be replaced anything except the tv Which was over drilled and fell out the first day and was hanging by coax Cabinet locks were not put in right so they moved in and out, the floor had to be re-straightened because it was coming up and wavy, fridge won’t stay on while driving 1 hour tops, found 3 gas leaks, when filling the water tank water fills in wall under fridge, the square metal frame holding the ramp door is actually pulling away from the roof and the floor so you can see light through them the pulldown screen in the back has just come off the wall because there’s no anchors and they just screwed it into the drywall or whatever that crap is called so when I fell down I was able to see the hole from the roof and the back frame, sink leaks into cabinet, All their fake walls are a joke by the microwave in the cabinet and by the hot water heater put in place by one screw Kinda, The walls of the shower aren’t even sealed at all and they move one barely touched so I can’t even use the damn shower, only had two trips, 12 hr on road only had this for a few months. The quality control is gone they do not pre-drill so all the wood is cracked nothing is tighten down nothing is anchored nothing is bolted correctly complete crap they’re sitting there getting drunk or some sh*t and there is no quality control. I regret the decision of this purchase so much I’m so screwed now I can’t even get a single trip without having to turn around because all my food is bad or too much sh*t is broken and I can’t keep going Show less

Do not buy a KZ product. They do not honor their warranties! Please learn from those of us who purchased a KZ product. I purchased a 2020 5th wheel and had all four breaks go out within the first year. They will not honor their warranty and I had to pay over $1000 to fix them. I have only used the RV a handful of times. Poor customer service. Do not make the mistake I did and buy their product. Show less

Bought this toy hauler for retirement. Don’t plan to spend another winter in Missouri. We absolutely love it. It’s top of the line but it’s well worth the price if u want 4 season. Tons of storage, 14 foot garage, with vented washer dryer, Our bedroom has a king tilt bed with plenty of storage. 3 air conditioner units keep u as cool as u want to be. We regret it doesn’t have a second bathroom. Other than that it’s amazing. Show less
