Going cross country 6000+ miles. The unit has behaved well. A huge disappointment is the Girard "on demand" water heater. Had we known about this it would have been a DEAL BREAKER, would not have purchased this unit. If you are all hooked up water and septic, the heater works just OK. It requires A LOT of water and you have to find the sweet spot to keep the water flowing properly to keep it hot. You CANNOT turn the shower on and off to preserve water not designed for this AT ALL. Suffice to say, DOES NOT WORK if you are not fully hooked up. VERY WASTEFUL.... I miss our 6 gallon tank in our Redhawk!!! Worked like a charm 100% under all conditions!!! I spoke with Girard CS and they admit it is an issue, they also said they are no longer selling to Jayco...... so tough shit for us and our expensive unit with poor shower conditions. BAD choice by Jayco, they know it, but will do nothing. ALSO , NONE of the plugs on the dash area work unless you are connected or running generator....so for the remote warrior like me..... big fail! The USB's work but if you work on a laptop... no bueno. Show less
