Do not buy a Gulf Stream RV. Gulf Stream makes the worst RV (besides Dutchmen) in the RV industry. There are countless issues. The shower drained into the black tank, there were small wood chippings in the grey tank, propane leaks, water penetration, poorly assembled cabinetry, lighting issues, and many more. There was a hole about 4 inches in the floor, right in the walkway to the bunks. Gulf Stream claims "strong wood roof decking, screwed and glued in place" that is not the case at all. The roof decking is very very thin, it buckles under me when I got up there to check my roof seals and no i'm not overweight that It buckled under me. The whole RV is a mess, there are way too many issues. Gulf Stream takes absolutely no pride in their company or their product. There is absolutely no reason that this RV should be having all these issues, and no reason for a non walk on roof. Gulf Stream really needs to improve on their quality control. I sold this unit, and bought a Coachmen Viking, and the Coachmen Viking is a lot better with the quality, the only issues I had was a couple trim items were not cut correctly and needed to be shorted. Avoid Gulf Stream and go with a Coachmen Viking/Clipper you won't regret spending a little bit more money for a way better RV.

Family of 5 kid's, wife, and 3 small dogs Negative: Got it and noticed the wheel wells looked like they had been stepped on. My dealer quickly fixed and replaced the wheel well. The Murphy bed frame needed reinforcement. There was a leak where I would winterize the camper. Positive: Sleeps my family and we can prepare meals easily. Have travelled over 1300 miles with it my first year and is structurally sound. This camper is small for my family but not all the kids come. It is mainly a place to lay out head and make meals. Otherwise when we went camping we never spent much time inside. .

It will be a fight with them to do anything. I wish the owners of Gulf Stream (Shea Brothers) would acknowledge the poor manufacturing of there product and stand behind it. But why should they their making money on a inferior product.

We bought this camper brand new. The dealership we bought it from was wonderful great people tried standing behind us with all our problems. But Gulfstream manufacturers will not stand behind their product. We've had multiple leaks. The front end leaks in the bedroom around the window cross the floors the walls are warped leaking around the slide into the living area. Had nothing the problems with the water heater when we first bought it. It's still not right. We have contacted Gulfstream multiple times with no results. We've called our insurance company he says it's a manufacturer problem. I do not recommend buying a Gulfstream camper I'm a very disappointed customer. I've tried to seal areas where the leaks may be coming from but I'm not sure if that's the right spots. I don't want to mess with it too much

Wonderful woodwork and bright colorful details - I love what this trailer looks like and its floorplan really works for us. BUT, this trailer is cheaply and poorly manufactured. Some of the defects were minor and were easily fixed - for example, Gulf Stream failed to install a blackwater tank flush valve, to connect the radio to the antenna, etc. Annoying but no big deal. But, it didn't stop with the small stuff . Gulf Stream didn't seal the rear brake light at the roofline and the water that poured in blew 4 of the 5 window seals in the trailer. When it rained it was like Niagara Falls inside the trailer. Took over 8 months to get new windows in stock and replaced. There were what appeared to be nails popping up through the flooring but were in fact just pieces of scrap metal that were not swept up and they installed the flooring right overtop. Then when we were travelling, the freezer door hinge snapped right off and the freezer door was on the floor. Turns out that when the freezer door was installed, a corner plastic piece that holds the door trim and the handle had snapped in half and instead of taking the door off and replacing the piece, they just glued it in place. That is a lot of weight and stress on a glued bit that eventually failed and the cost for replacement of the freezer parts was shockingly high. We have less than 20,000 km on this trailer and the last time we took it out we were on the highway and a leaf spring failed (severed completely in half). Almost died. Repair shop said that the leaf springs that the trailer was initially equipped with were barely sufficient for the dry weight of the trailer and a partially filled fresh water tank - no other weight. We thought we must have a lemon trailer but we spoke to someone with the exact same RV model and year of manufacture, and their experience was no less disturbing - they had had completely different and just as serious issues. We swapped horror stories so that we could learn from our shared experience and take some comfort from the fact that that these issues are not exclusive to just our trailers. These are cheap and cheerful trailers BUT they are really poorly manufactured and somewhat dangerous and the trailer will be in the shop more often than you will be camping with it.

Took it to a trailer shop and they said box frame to thin for the trailer and had to replace entire a-frame at my cost. Gulf Stream took no responsibility and blamed frame manufacturer Lippert. Lippert tested section and said no problem with their specs from Gulf Stream. Out over $6000 for replacement made from thicker material.

I loved this camper when we bought it, seemed like the perfect first camper. But turned terrible when the roof started leaking, its ruined the cabinetry above the bed in the front. The bath tub leaks down and has ruined the floors. The windows in the bedroom in the front leak, have also ruined the floor. And to make everything more upsetting when I called the manufacture they told me there is nothing they can do about it. 2 years with this camper and now we can't even use it until we get it all fixed. The refrigerator in the outdoor kitchen stopped working. We already had the main fuse box blow and be replaced. Very upsetting, will for sure being reading reviews on our next camper purchase, once I figure out how to get out of this nightmare.

We bought new a Gulfstream Vintage Cruiser RSS. The drop down menu here did not have our RV listed so I plugged in the closest I could find on that list. This RV has been junk from the day we bought it. Do not buy Gulfstream. Wiring harnesses not connected, screws pulled out of the table during hauling and table was on the floor when we opened the door. Table and everything else is made of very cheap materials. The "woody" outside decals are peeling off. Looks so bad I am embarrassed to pull the camper out on the road. Gulfstream said we have to pay them $2,000.00 for enough decals to cover just the front and one side. Then we have to pay $100 per hour to have them installed. Sitting at the table and pieces of paneling trim simply fall off onto the floor. Skylights fell apart and had to be replaced. Chrome hub caps all rusted. Lid on storage tube for sewer pipe broke. Cheap bed mattress had to be replaced. Black water tank continually gets plugged up and will not completely empty. Shower so small very hard and dangerous to get in and out of. Very little cabinet storage in kitchen. Very poor design on awning arms. Continually hitting and cutting our heads on those arms. When we left the dealership the RV swayed so bad on the interstate we could not get over 50 mph. Had to add leveler and sway bars in order to haul. Do not buy Gulfstream.
