My wife and I purchased a 2020 DRV Fifth Wheel from Guaranty RV in July 2020. When we went to take delivery it was found that the refrigerator was not working. It took a month to get a compressor and and to fix the refrigerator. We were not happy about this delay but accepted the fact that parts were not available and Whirlpool Authorized Tech had to install the part. We lost a number of non-refundable RV park during this month, but Guaranty RV compensated us by putting on the MaxxAir fan vents for free. We found that the Sales Department, RV Park, and Parts Department were helpful and professional to deal with. After our first real camping trip we found a few minor repair issues with our Fifth Wheel which is not uncommon. These warranty issues included a slide which is out of adjustment, a bulb seal which was damaged by this slide, a Maxxair Fan that is malfunctioning, an awning arm which sticks when opening, and control lights on the theater seats. I also wanted to add a slide topper which was ordered from parts and delivered to Guaranty RV. An appointment was made for these warranty repairs and for the slide topper installation for September 29th. When the fifth wheel was dropped off I had the understanding that the repairs would be done on October 23rd if parts were available. I called a week later to check on progress and was informed that the fifth wheel would not even be looked at until October 23rd and then it could take 6 to 8 weeks to get the parts. I contacted DRV and was informed that the delay in parts that Guaranty RV was stating did not sound reasonable. I explained the unreasonable time that Guaranty RV was taking to address the minor warranty issues and DRV authorized other repair facilities or a mobile rv tech to repair the listed items. I contacted Guaranty RV on October 6th and advised that I would be picking the fifth wheel up on October 9th as we live 3 hours away. I advised to place the slide topper inside the fifth wheel and that I would pay for it and have it installed else where. On October 7th I received a phone call from Guaranty RV advising that the slide topper had been installed. I picked the fifth wheel up on October 9th and slide topper was installed properly. I find it amazing how Guaranty RV can magically find time to install a customer paid for item and charge their installation fees when the customer is going to take their fifth wheel somewhere else. The warranty items were never addressed or even looked at. Upon picking up the fifth wheel and taking it home I diagnosed the malfunctioning Maxxair fan and measured the damaged bulb seal. I contacted DRV with the length of bulb seal needed and that the control board on the Maxxair fan needed to be replaced. To determine the parts needed took only a few minutes. DRV is sending these parts under warranty. We love our DRV and their customer service has been outstanding. I would think twice about buying from Guaranty RV again after seeing how they address warranty issues. We know that RV's are going to have issues and you need to be able to rely on a good service department which we find lacking from Guaranty RV.

I am writing this review only because I received a call from someone in customer service at Guaranty again and I am hoping that someone their will put a note in my file that I am an unhappy customer and not to call me! We purchased a used 2007 class C RV from this dealer a year ago. During the negotiations the words "as is" were not used, and several times we were told that they were going thru the RV and fixing any issues. The RV was put thru a cleaning and "repair" and we returned a few days later to sign for and pick up our RV. When we were signing was the first time I saw "as is". But as they say ignorance is bliss and I assumed (right) that any known issues would be "taken care of". We were given a quick (about 30 min) walk thru of how to operate the RV itself, the slide, refrigerator, stove, pumps etc. We were back within 30 days with some issues. 1. the radio would stop working and say "their is a short in the wiring". 2. the seal on one of the windows that was suppose to be fixed had come out again. 3. I told them "I am new to this stove and I can't get the oven to light" 4. The generator was coming on all by it self. We were told that as this was sold "AS IS" we would have to pay for all repairs. So we left the RV with them and they would call us with costs and up dates. 1. They couldn't fix the radio. 2. They did put the window seal back in but it had come out again within a couple of weeks. 3. they told us we needed a new part for the oven and would order it. My husband went to google and looked up the part and lighting instructions, and read "hold the knob in while lighting and until the oven lights. Guess what user error! 4. They couldn't figure out why the generator was starting on it's own So for $400. $ we had a window seal put in. Yes they did contact us about the costs and yes we did ask that they try and fix the radio and generator. So Lesson learned. 1. We had the radio fixed in a couple of hours locally. 2. Our local RV repair shop said the seal would keep coming out but that the window has another seal. 3. Now that I know how to turn the oven on their is no problem. 4. The generator spook has only been around once in the last 12 months. I called them and told them we did not need the stove part and was still called 3 times telling me they had my stove part and each time I told them we did not need it as it was user error. The real biggy was when we were in Kansas and got a flat tire on a Saturday and found out our spare tire was 12 years old and barely held air and the air valve on the inside tire had a leak. I would say anyone buying from Guaranty, please have a third party check it out. Please do not use their service dept.
