I’m very unhappy. 2 days old. Fridge,oven,microwave AC And Heat does not work. All have to be replaced. WOW not even a week old never was able to use it. I believe Grand Design is now making very expensive garbage.Run away do not purchase one of these Trailers. Buyer beware. You have been warned. All I have now is a 120k lump of coal and a payment. This RV is a dream. Excellent quality - pre-Winnebago buyout of Grand Design. No unexpected repairs were required. Upgrades on the AC and the Refrigerator to keep it better than new. 2015 Grand Design Momentum M-Class 350M. Show less

Purchased new in 2016 (September) from at the time the only dealer in Ontario. PDI was poorly done which as it turns out was only the beginning of the poor quality and engineering of this unit. We do really like the layout and livability of this unit and have used it extensively in Ontario as well as in the USA. Normal highway,interstate and campground driving. Since new we have replaced taps, all tires (China Bombs),light fixture in kitchen, equalizers twice, all leaf springs, rear ladder separated from trailer ( I weigh 185 lbs), front passenger side slide motor ,water damage in rear outdoor kitchen ( floor destroyed ). Door for fridge access outside was improperly installed . Now we have structural failure in front drivers side and delaminating wall that needs to be repaired this winter. Main brain for auto level system failed. All in nearly $30000 in bills when all in. Grand Design basically says so said sucks to be you. We have traded it in for a 2 year newer other brand and will never deal with this company again. Amazing marketers, lousy builder !!! Show less

We searched many different RV's that would fit our needs. As with any RV, there must be a compromise between what is wanted, and what is available in the size/class you are buying. We settled on a Momentum G320 based mostly on the floor plan, features, and the limitations of our tow vehicle. The first issue was we found the 50amp power cord was bad (no power on one leg). This could have been discovered at the dealer during purchase, however the dealer we used was having construction work done on their electrical hook ups in the delivery area (this was not Grand Design's fault). The cord was replaced under warranty by another dealer during our first trip. The first system that we had issues with was the Lippert Ground Control auto leveling system. Got an error message and no information was available on how to correct it, system would not operate until the dealer re-set it. Second issue was the refrigerator. ultimately the problem was a bad ground connection, something which should have been done properly during construction. The dealer that did the repairs caused more problems than the original issue, but eventually fixed the problem (again, not Grand Design's fault). After owning the RV for over a year, still having issues with the auto leveling system, and found that the control board was bad. I had contacted Grand Design and they did agree to warranty the part if I had it repaired by a dealer or repair service. I had a mobile service come work on my RV (Kasey G's Mobile RV Repair) and they screwed up more than they fixed. I ended up doing the repair myself to not only replace the control board, but to repair the wiring damage they caused by incorrectly routing the wiring through the slide out in the framework. Although the issue with the repair was not Grand Design's fault, I never received any follow up calls or emails from them asking if the issue had been fixed. The cost of the control board was $400.00 however the system has functioned properly since my repair. I went to dump the freshwater tank (first time since purchase) and found the entire dump valve bonnet was broken due to the extreme angle that the extension handle was mounted at. I purchased and installed a new valve and re-positioned the handle so as not to stress the flimsy plastic valve. I have now owned the RV for 3 years. Almost every trip we take, I find screws on the floor which have fallen out of various things inside the RV, also I find many screw heads on the inside and outside that were broken off during assembly due to over torquing by the person doing the assembly. On the last trip we took, I was alerted by a passerby that something appeared to be flapping up on the roof. Upon inspection I found that the rubber roof membrane was somehow getting air under it during travel and was being pulled up from the wood underneath. I also found soft spots on the roof under the rubber membrane from unknown causes. Overall, I just don't see the quality in the fit and finish that Grand Design touts their product to be. They are assembled as quickly and cheaply as possible, but they want you to believe that they are somehow a better built product that other RV brands. I have owned five different RVs over the last 15 years, and my parents were avid RVer's for many years who owned many different RV's. I have found more assembly flaws in the Grand Design RV that I own now than I have found in any of the others I have owned. I will be trading or selling this RV in the near future and will be looking at other brands. Show less

Great design and layout. The main thing that sold us was the size of the master bedroom and bathroom. We've come to appreciate the garage area not just for taking the golf cart and bikes but also when our grown children go with us; with it's half bath, large HappiJac bed, back patio and separate entrance door it becomes it's own little apartment so everyone has some privacy. It pulls well with the upgraded suspension and while it's a bit of a handful to get into a camping space it makes up for it once it is in place and set-up. The auto-leveling system is definitely a blessing. Kitchen space is good and the large pantry is a high note. Ours has the third AC unit, but even in 90+ degree temperatures we've never needed to run more than two. The dual gas/electric water heater is a nice feature, as are the 3 awnings, multi-head shower, and the magnetic slam close doors on the outside compartments. The only area where it seemed like Grand Design cut corners a little is in the original mattress on the main bed. There's no such thing as the absolute perfect RV but this comes as close as anything we've owned. Show less

We have lived full time in this camper for over a year. The floor plan makes it doable. We did move our bed back to the toy hauler and make it a king. We love it. The kitchen has a lot of usable storage and the double fridge makes it so much easier to live full time. Show less

We have so enjoyed our Momentum. The Artic package proved its worth during snow-maggeddon. My husband and I purchased our RV April of 2020 brand new from McClains RV in Denton, TX. It has been our main living space when we are not working. Our Children has visited and the quietness of the garage living space with the 2nd bathroom provided an enjoyable stay for all. With many amenities from the Artic package with the amazing Onan that kept us warm and with power when the power was out in Texas, to the auxiliary fuel tank and water tanks and the easily convertible garage space, we give this RV a 10 out 10 on ease to care, move and haul. We thoroughly enjoyed this rv. We used the garage space for an office and Art Studio. Painting and framing supplies all on board as we traveled. The dogs loved the back deck. Ability to see out and watch passers by. The floorplan has a dinette - a place to sit down with a plate. The sectional seating / heated recliners were wonderful for watching tv. The kitchen was a joy! plenty of space to make gourmet meals - pantry storage, pan storage - it really had it all. The Furion appliances were great. Golf clubs, art gear, dog crate............. all the room you could ask for. The bathroom shower had a seat and shelves for your stuff. Under the bed storage. We have loved this fifth wheel toy hauler. AMAZING layout. Has tons and tons of storage and great versatile living spaces - indoor and out. The garage can be whatever type of living space that fits your needs and the main area has so much room to enjoy. It's super easy to make this 'your own'. Great Rig well taken care of with all the added features you would want in a Toyhauler or to live in full-time. Plenty of storage with heated tanks and basement. Large panoramic windows in main living area gives it a open large feeling. Nice island with double sink and plenty of storage. Side awnings all have sunshades. Deck has exterior stairs and large garage has it’s own full bath also has 3 season doors. Show less
