We purchased our grand design imagine at Colton RV in Hamburg, New York. Got home and the refrigerator does not work, we find a crack on the kitchen counter, and a large gap in the corner wall be the bed. Colton RV will not return our phone calls. We called Grand Design and after being on hold for over an hour we talked to Stephanie, she gave us permission to go to an unauthorized dealer to get it fixed. We need a new refrigerator, the one in there is not repairable. Local dealership emailed Stephanie what the problem with the refrigerator is. Called Stephanie 2 days later she said she will get a refrigerator ordered but they may be on backorder, she will email us the next day. 2 days later we call again, on hold for over an hour again to find out she is off today. Of course it’s Friday. We are supposed to leave for a three week vacation with our camper in 12 days. We are on hold right now trying to find out from someone other than Stephanie if a refrigerator has been ordered or not. Very poor customer service so far.
It has been 6 phone calls to Colton RV within the past week and no return phone calls back.
We will be checking to see if there is a lemon law with an RV like there is with automobiles.
