I see someone submitted a review about the North Canton AND Dover locations. What a coincidence because I, too had terrible experiences with BOTH. STAY AWAY. It is more than a coincidence that both were awful. And if you look at the reviews for other General RVs, you will see the same! General RV must provide awful training across the board. So friendly when you come in but after that you can't reach anyone. You have to ask for a manager before someone returns a call then you find out you aren't even talking to manager. Never again. I feel everyone's pain.

We purchased our camper here in 2020. This past year we had some flood damage and took it to their service department to have it fixed. We dropped our camper off in January 2022. It is still not fixed after 5 months. They have not even touched it since we took it in. Even worse, they admitted that and were not sorry. Terrible customer service by David Hinds, Tim and Emily in the service department. They do not respond and they do not care. They are inept at their jobs. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE. DO NOT BUY OR GO THERE FOR SERVICE. YOU WILL BE SORRY!

This dealership is the absolutely worst place I have ever done business with. The Lies started from the day we picked up our RV. This dealership is the absolutely worst place I have ever done business with. The Lies started from the day we picked up our RV. Service is absolutely horrible, they never fix anything the first time, sometimes they will the second time but, not everything. I've wasted more time, money and gas driving back and forth to this dealership than I could have ever imagined. I've reached out to the General Manager David Hinds on more than one occasion . He finally got back to me and only answered one of my issues/concerns and ignored the rest. I will never recommend or purchase anything from General RV again! They don't care and they have not customer care! Horrible!! I would like to end this by saying, I'm not one to take the time to leave a bad review, however, I will take the time to leave a good one. I gave Mr. Hinds the opportunity to work to resolve ALL of our issues and concerns before taking this step and he did not!

Lies, Lies, Lies! That says it all about salesman Bob Toth. Everything he promised in order to get our deposit turned out to be false. We special ordeed a camper on Black Friday with the understanding that it would be ordered and kept on a sold lot until we were to pick it up in early April. We arrived at the dealership to find our camper out on the front line with people coming and going as if it were a stock model. The camper was filthy, a cabinet door dislodged and and 3 stains on our theater seating! We were glad at that point that only a deposit had been made which we quickly asked for a refund and cancelled any further business dealings. Buyers beware what the sales people tell you is only for a deposit and they never intend to fulfill any of it, This is just one example of our experience being I wouldn't fit it all of it in less than 5000 characters. No matter what the first impressions are if you are a careful and particular buyer do not have any dealings with General RV of North Canton Ohio!!

Regarding your salesman Ben (N. Canton OH), I assume no reply indicates we should work with another dealership. I understand you're busy but at this point, we don’t feel valued as a customer. I called today and texted with no response. Your sales manager tried to hook me for a $2,500 deposit before even checking credit and talking a price.....(I have it recorded). It's been this way throughout our experience with you. Other dealers have texted, emailed, and called relentlessly. If you can't find the time in an 8 hour day to talk, others will. I'll post recordings and transcripts of my conversations to all social media platforms and online reviews. Not that it matters. clearly your business doesn't value customers Best, Your lost customer

We WERE elated with them until this. Then when we picked up our 1-yr. old rig we purchased from them, we noticed the black water tank showed almost full. We asked them to dump and flush. We WERE elated with them until this. Then when we picked up our 1-yr. old rig we purchased from them, we noticed the black water tank showed almost full. We asked them to dump and flush. They said of course. It should have been done 2x as a part of inspection which cost us$1400.00. This is our 1st RV and we had a 2000 mile drive ahead of us to get it home. We did not feeling comfortable with sewage dumping, so we did not use the toilet. On our last day, we went to clean out the grey and noticed our black tanks were still almost full. So, we dumped the black tank. I was horrified watching the large amounts of fecal matter continue to run into the dumping station. We just drove 1600 miles with someone else's fecal matter in our RV. I called General RV and spoke to the operations manager who apologized
