This trailer was our first leap up from a pop up. We purchased spring of 2018 and have traveled extensively. Home based in NC we've made trips to Michigan's UP and and back down through Wisconsin. Another summer trekked to Maine and the Canadian border. A couple trips to Florida. And many trips to various destinations 2 to 4 hours from home. So this trailer has been over some rough roads and seen a lot of use. It's held up very well in my estimation. We have had a few minor failures but considering it's a small home traveling down the road at 65 mph I would expect that. So we've had several minor failures that I've been able to repair requiring 2-4 hours of my time. We did have a catastrophic tire blow out in Maine a couple years ago on a tire that was properly inflated and showed no signs of impending failure. I think Rockwood is now equipping their RVs with Goodyear tires but the 2018 model came with China bombs on the wheel. We are in the market for a new rig but only because we now need a bunk house for grand children. Otherwise I'd probably keep camping in it for several more years. I hope our nex rig hold up as well as thin one has. To the best of my knowledge my rig came with a 1 year warranty. I have never contacted the dealer or the factory for warranty service or repairs. Anything that needed fixing was just easier and less expensive to do myself.

Customer support and warranty is absolutely terrible. They are also continuing to manufacture these new travel trailers with faulty parts that are known to be faulty and yet they continue to build them and pass them on to the consumer and when the part goes bad they expect the consumer to take their time and gas money to bring it back to the dealer to have them replace the part. Trying to get them to stand behind $45 in parts. Was like trying to pull teeth. I guess I'll just spend the money myself after purchasing a 43,000 RV from them. I guess I'll just spend another 45 bucks out of my pocket. Unfortunately, I guess their paperwork was more important than keeping it. Happy customer over 45 bucks.

I will never own another brand.

Given that many companies are short handed and back logs are significant, the consumer has to do many repairs themselves..so having such poor customer service who tells you that they are not bonded to work with the public, is just that…poor customer service…When screws fall out, bungees cords fray, making order of frequent replacement parts or recommendation would be helpful, especially when local dealers are 6 months out on repair work. I will never buy another rock wood/forest River product for this reason.. A liner has much better customer service..in this regard.

Prior sole owner, a mechanic, for 27 made some improvements like adding an automatic parking brake when in the gear park” it stays that way. We overhauled ours a year ago and only needed a “mild” one. We replaced all auto electric major items, all with ease, to have reliability as those items wear with age. It’s like new and Vroom. Big powerful Ford 460cu.in. engine using unleaded gas, is easy to maintain from either front or between driver

Factory used wood screws to fasten the track to the thin ceiling panels. No framing above to support the weight of the doors. Dealer said it would be months before they could repair under warranty do to it being backed up with repairs. Be sure to inspect any rv your are considering purchasing before you commit. Service after the sale from all dealers and manufacturers is not a priority. Repaired the problem myself so I did not have to cancel my vacation.

We searched a long time for this camper and were excited to find one and purchase it. The dealer we bought it from was a pleasure to deal with and when we picked it up there were a few items missing (cap for the sewer tube, 1 light, pantry and clothes pantry) and a poorly installed awning support (3' short of where it should be). The Dealer informed that it might take a while to get them but they would be in touch. After about 1 month of trying to get some details I finally contacted Rockwood. They were helpful in getting someone at the Dealer to speak with but once I was connected with that person they also stopped calling and emailing me back. I am more upset with the Dealers lack of response and lack of caring than I am with Rockwood. We have taken our camper on 2 trips and really enjoyed it but I am concerned about the lack of communication from the Dealer and Rockwood.

You get the tenting for sleeping with the pull outs, and you get the benefits of 4 walls for bathroom, kitchen and overall livability. We haven't found the negatives yet with this concept. To the Roo, it seems to hit all of the hybrid features with ease. - Pop outs can be set up/down with 1 person (takes a little back and forth to tuck in the tenting), and done quickly. - The kitchen is fantastic. There's a double sink, decent
