“Lemon”, I had several problems with my 2022 Rockwood Mini Lite 2509S within four months of ownership. The rv dealership I had made my purchase sold to another company. It was and still is extremely difficult to get Forest River Customer Service’s help to get anything repaired and or replaced. The reason behind all of the numerous problems I have with my Rockwood mini lite I was told is because of the Covid and the dealership didn’t do their duty of inspections neither because of the Covid. No one wants to admit the truth for the shoddy workmanship of installation, and using cheap low quality materials that continually fall apart. I have screws back out, the metal that was used is all rusting. I have malfunctioning electrical connections and outlets. I have a malfunctioning power awning, gaping and sagging slide out, faulty water system, and the list goes on and on. My 2022 Rockwood mini lite is a safety and health hazard and I can’t use it in this condition neither sell it in this conditions . I was told the repairs for the labor and replacement of many parts is going to cost in the thousands of dollars. Please spread the word and don’t make my mistake by purchasing a rv by Forest River-Rockwood.

Purchased a brand new 2022 2507S . Love the trailer, but hate the poor manufacturing / quality processes that went into this. Front "auto style" window leaked terribly - I fixed it myself. The manufacturer forgot to install the water filter resulting in a disastrous plumbing issue. Not sure if there is enough text space to identify all the issues "I HAD TO REPLACE AND FIX MYSELF!!!" The warranty is "NON-EXISTENT". Stay away from Forest River at all cost!! I guess we got a "LEMON" as the company generally has received positive reviews apparently. All this for a "BRAND NEW TRAILER!!!" Shameful. The upside is I've made the trailer better than the manufacture and have gotten to know the trailer inside and out, but I'm very disappointed.

I especially liked the separate bedroom and the front kitchen. The windshield let in light and gave the trailer a nice big view outside making it feel bigger. The only thing I wish was different was having two gray tank dumps. It would have been nice to have them tied together. But it was nice to have the extra water storage.

Forest River Rockwood Mini 2109S. The unit is very poorly built. Warranty is nonexistent. If purchase, make sure read. Very limited warranty. Only one year. Being 5 to 5 1/2 hours from the dealer have fixed most items. Items are mostly MFG installing improperly which warranties exclude. Have Roofing issue. The 10-year warranty is for the PTO membrane and is through the maker of the membrane. Not Forest River. They don’t cover MFG improper installation. Took month and a half to get an answer on the roofing issues which are MFG improper installations. Stated problem but never came out and stated improper installation. Basically, nothing wrong with the roof, but will make note if problem down the road. Roof is supposed to be laminated but not sure what they are calling laminated. Any way no coverage and I have to repair as best as I can. Other issues have included cabinet drawers and Cabinet doors. Granted this isn’t an Air stream, but construction of the unit should be better than it is for what you pay for. They are not customer orientated. Will not buy another Forest River unit. These units are just slapped together. Buyer beware.

We usually camp in USFS, BLM, NSP or state campground so having a smaller trailer makes it much easier get a site. Its small but has a lot of storage: a closet on each side of the bed, two pantry/closets, drawers under the dinette and good storage space in the bathroom. We've had five problems : 1) a small tear in the awning (fixed under warranty) that took 3 month to get repaired, 2) hinge screws would not stay tight (easy fix), 3) tiny water leak where the braided hose attaches to the water heater (easy fix), 4) hitch jack stopped working (just happened, think it will be an easy fix), 5) the original mattress was horrible, (replaced with a Wilderness mattress). We love the trailer especially the 52 gal. fresh water tank which allows us to stay up to 5 nights without hookups.

Especially love the murphy bed - on long trips it is very nice to have the extra space to provide a different look. U shaped dinette is very roomy and allows for a comfortable feet-up posture when needed. Shower is roomy enough. The couch has gotten saggy and uncomfortable which is sad, because it is impossible to change the cushions. Overall quality has exceeded expectations. Would absolutely buy again.

I purchased my 2506s 15 months ago and so far it has been a fabulous couples camper. I tow this with my Jeep Grand Cherokee and for the most part I do not know it is behind me, unless I do something stupid. We put over 5,000 mile on it last year and enjoyed this trailer on every trip. From the Black hills to Illinois state parks we could not be happier, my honey loves the kitchen and bathroom layouts and I really enjoy the living area and the outside kitchen. The Awning is almost the whole length of the trailer making for a great space to hang out in the rain, i can even hook up my portable gas firepit under the awning. While there I have an outdoor stove top, griddle, and small fridge to hold anything I need out there to cook. And a sprayer to clean things off. Best Trailer for couples to head out and enjoy a couple of weeks away.

We certainly like the floor plan which is why we picked the Forest River Mini-Lite... Several issues such as floor got spongy, replaced steps, furnace doesn't work properly, matress lumpy after 1 year, one of tanks dropped down and we had to have welded back on, front jack had to be replaced as it stopped working on our first trip, on/off switch to hot water tank doesn't work, cabinet doors had to be strapped closed, spare tire exploded while mounted to back of camper (never been used), outside shower door doesn't open, sink in kitchen leaked and so on..... DO NOT buy this product esp because of the floor since it's made of the thinnest plywood and foam. JUNK!
