We purchased our 2018 Riverstone in Jan 2019, and headed out for a tour around the country for 1 1/2 years, then lived in it full time in Florida for 3 1/2 years The livability of the 39FL is fantastic. The kitchen layout is perfect for the amount of counter space (the island), allowing me to have everything I needed right at my fingertips, no walking across the room for supplies. Also, having a residential fridge gave me plenty of storage space to stock up, and the lower freezer drawer is large. We always traveled with the fridge on, never had any issues. The induction stove is just as good as having a gas stove, in terms of controlling cooking temperatures. The convection oven was large enough and cooked evenly, I could even bake muffins, cakes and bread. (We do not have a traditional oven). Dishwasher is small, but works great, nice to not have to wash dishes by hand! The front living room gives just enough separation, and I liked the built ins for storage (one side held all my crafting and sewing supplies), the TV flipped up and held all our books and DVDs and the other side held all our files and important household items. Having both bump-out couches turn into beds was also a plus for having family stay with us. Recliners are comfortable and the 60” TV made for great movie nights. We also have the dual shades, one for sun, and then full coverage. The bathroom is very functional given it’s size, again, plenty of storage. The bedroom, being in the rear makes it a quiet place to sleep, and with the bureau, over-the-bed cupboards and double closet, there is plenty of storage. Washer dryer location is easy to get to and the bed is a great place to fold laundry. Another feature that is key in the Riverstone is the 4” insulated walls. It is very quiet, and we have been in areas that were cold, around 30 degrees and we were warm and toasty with the heat on. The bedroom and Living Room fireplaces make it cozy and warm. Nothing like having the bedroom fireplace on before you get up on a chilly morning. The rig towed smoothly, turned well and made many it up may steep grades and switchbacks with ease. Now that we are done traveling, the layout of this 39FL is going to be the starting point for building a tiny home. I want to keep that kitchen!

We purchased our 23 Riverstone toyhauler new from Terrytown RV. The quality from the factory left much to be desired. Terrytown did work to resolve numerous manufacture issues. Paint issues, fit and finish issues inside and out. Torn slide bottoms. We came from a 40 ft DRV pre buyout byThor. There is no comparison in any area for quality inside or out between our pre-Thor DRV and this Riverstone. That being said, I thought the current DRVs had downgraded in quality significantlyafter being bought by Thor, which is why we decided to try Riverstone. The interior design has much wasted space. If you happen inside one, look at the kitchen garbage set up and it will give you a clue of the poorly thought out use of space. The bedroom dresser drawers are pretty... But too small they only hold 2 men's size t shirts. Really...2,? I do love the front bedroom closet design and I do love the behind the TV hidden pantry. Huge wasted space can be found over the dishwasher and the vent area beside the stove. Also the cupboard next to the laundry is 3 ft of wasted space above. For the price, retail 239k, it should be 5 stars in quality and comfort but it is barely 3 stars. I want to love it, and I can't find anything better in a toyhauler, but quality just isn't what it used to be or should and could be.

Ours was built in 2018, so before covid and the supply shortages. As for the warranty, longer is better. I think for the price point a 2-year warranty would be nice. However, most things that break are components and not a fault of Riverstone.

2019 Forest River, Riverstone 39RKFB. Definitely the best 5th wheel to go full time in. The 2019 is the best year though for sure, After years of experience we've learned that Forest River is one of the much better brands but the 2019 seems to have the best craftsmanship and solid material. We bought one and have lived in it for a long time and we don't plan on that changing anytime soon. The quality and craftsmanship is outstanding. We live in WA state and it rains and storms constantly so we needed something built well and durable. The only thing is that it is pretty heavy so we had to upgrade the truck but it's been worth it. We've done full time living with a few other rigs but this one is the best. It's a solid vehicle and after 2 years of living in it full time we've never had anything break or stop working. The prices are of course a bit high usually but you get what you pay for. I know of only one other person that owns the same year and model and they've had the same experience.

Just got my first 5er on December 18th and it’s 21 39fkth. Dealer told us there a trim problem in the bedroom that they had to fix which delayed pick up by a couple of days. When doing the walk through the salesman opened one of the over headboard cabinets in the bedroom and it popped of the hinge. Ok we’ll order you a new door. When I got to my destination 1800 miles away the other side popped off. Another cabinet. One of the drawer tracks broke on yet another in the bedroom. So I try to order these things and after talking to service manager I get told they can’t mail them to me because that would void the warranty. I have to make an appointment with a reputable service place and they would mail to them. I fixed both cabinets, the problem was the shock that holds them up was too tight and caused the hinges to pop off. Loosen the shock and all is good. Drawer still has broken track. Now that being said we’ve been living in this thing for a month on the 18th of this month and considering all the other things that could go wrong, we simply love it. Way too many bells and whistles, and they all work! I’d say a thumbs up!
