We purchased our 2018 Riverstone in Jan 2019, and headed out for a tour around the country for 1 1/2 years, then lived in it full time in Florida for 3 1/2 years The livability of the 39FL is fantastic. The kitchen layout is perfect for the amount of counter space (the island), allowing me to have everything I needed right at my fingertips, no walking across the room for supplies. Also, having a residential fridge gave me plenty of storage space to stock up, and the lower freezer drawer is large. We always traveled with the fridge on, never had any issues. The induction stove is just as good as having a gas stove, in terms of controlling cooking temperatures. The convection oven was large enough and cooked evenly, I could even bake muffins, cakes and bread. (We do not have a traditional oven). Dishwasher is small, but works great, nice to not have to wash dishes by hand! The front living room gives just enough separation, and I liked the built ins for storage (one side held all my crafting and sewing supplies), the TV flipped up and held all our books and DVDs and the other side held all our files and important household items. Having both bump-out couches turn into beds was also a plus for having family stay with us. Recliners are comfortable and the 60” TV made for great movie nights. We also have the dual shades, one for sun, and then full coverage. The bathroom is very functional given it’s size, again, plenty of storage. The bedroom, being in the rear makes it a quiet place to sleep, and with the bureau, over-the-bed cupboards and double closet, there is plenty of storage. Washer dryer location is easy to get to and the bed is a great place to fold laundry. Another feature that is key in the Riverstone is the 4” insulated walls. It is very quiet, and we have been in areas that were cold, around 30 degrees and we were warm and toasty with the heat on. The bedroom and Living Room fireplaces make it cozy and warm. Nothing like having the bedroom fireplace on before you get up on a chilly morning. The rig towed smoothly, turned well and made many it up may steep grades and switchbacks with ease. Now that we are done traveling, the layout of this 39FL is going to be the starting point for building a tiny home. I want to keep that kitchen!

Ours was built in 2018, so before covid and the supply shortages. As for the warranty, longer is better. I think for the price point a 2-year warranty would be nice. However, most things that break are components and not a fault of Riverstone.

2019 Forest River, Riverstone 39RKFB. Definitely the best 5th wheel to go full time in. The 2019 is the best year though for sure, After years of experience we've learned that Forest River is one of the much better brands but the 2019 seems to have the best craftsmanship and solid material. We bought one and have lived in it for a long time and we don't plan on that changing anytime soon. The quality and craftsmanship is outstanding. We live in WA state and it rains and storms constantly so we needed something built well and durable. The only thing is that it is pretty heavy so we had to upgrade the truck but it's been worth it. We've done full time living with a few other rigs but this one is the best. It's a solid vehicle and after 2 years of living in it full time we've never had anything break or stop working. The prices are of course a bit high usually but you get what you pay for. I know of only one other person that owns the same year and model and they've had the same experience.

I'm not sure how this rating system works but based on the poor workmanship/craftmanship that they pushed in the video the supposedly went into this unit it, the score should ne in the negatives... We did a factory order of our Full-Time Living Riverstone mid June 2018, a build that we were told 6-8 weeks, we were getting close to cancelling around week 12 but hung in. During week 15 we get a call from dealer our unit was just picked up at factory on it way. 2 days later get a call saying the driver damaged the unit and took it back to factory. So we cancelled. Later that day we got a call from the sales rep for this area, begging us to wait 2 more weeks for our unit to be fixed and it would be here. 3 days later dealer calls says our unit is now there!!! Well unfortunately we didn't cancel which we now regret, as it went totally down hill from there. Our list in the first 6 months was over 50 items that had issues. Most I fixed as we live full-time in the unit so we couldn't wait for the dealer every time something went wrong. From the cheap bracket holding the fridge in place, to the crappy way they installed the gas props for the large and heavy comp doors that the screws pulled out within the first few weeks (of which one fell on my wife wgile putting something in basement), to the poor workmanship on the wood step treads which came loose, one while I was coming down which sent me to the floor twisting my ankle, to the biggest on-going issue still of the hydraulic system that keeps loosing pressure, not leaking fluid, but it leaks back into the tank. They replaced several thousand dollars worth of parts but it still never fixed it. now out of warranty they don't give a crap, even thought this has been the same issue since we purchased it.... Now we have even a bigger issue with this thing they call "High End 5th Wheel" of which isn't the fault of the manufacture, or maybe they should shoulder some of the responsibility. We found out the total length of this trailer is illegal in Canada. We had tried to trade it away but were told by the dealer we were looking at trading with that the trailer was illegal in Canada. Our trailer measured 42'11" and agarding the laws in Canada the max length allowed on Canadian Roads is 41', of which the MVA (Motor Vehicle Association) says it will not change... So for now we are stuck, checking into any legal action we may or may not have against the dealer (for importing) and the Government of Canada for allowing the this illegal length trailer to be imported into Canada.. Like I said for now we are stuck and when I park I use the jacks to lift and than set it on cement blocks to block it. We continue to fight with Lippert to get it fixed and also continue to fixing and finding more items that were poorly built on this thing..

We purchased this Riverstone for our retirement. We love the living area and the comforts of home it offers. Unfortunately we had trouble with a warranty issue with a leak from the plumbing or washer. Riverstone warranty failed to accept responsibility and conduct proper repairs which finally led to an insurance claim to fix the problem. We found the quality not great cabinet finishing chipping in kitchen and bath rooms. The cabinets seem to be poorly finished. Tires showed uneven wear with less than 5000 kms. Riverstone is represented as a luxury unit however it's not what you get for the money. The warranty department is somewhat of a joke to deal with providing very poor customer service. Thanks

Riverstone is a division of Forest River. The manufacturing is advertised to be the best. The service is also advertised to be the best. Nothing is further from the truth. Jeff Holmes, service manager, for the entire Riverstone division in the US is the most unprofessional, inappropriate interaction I have experienced as a owner of anything. He whines for 10 minutes about how he needs more help then he talks at you. He finally got more help and now doesn’t answer his phone. The help he got is no better at following through but at least have some customer service skill. Doesn’t change the fact, they never get back to you. Other RV dealers authorized to work on Forest River will not order parts without a part number but RS will not provide it as its “proprietary”. The dealers just will not deal with Forest River Corporate. They say they mail the wrong part even with the VIN. My best advice, stay away from Forest River and RV’ing all together. This is our first experience and last. The list of problems that have had to be fixed is to long for this forum. The majority are manufacturer problems. Only a few dealer mistakes. One that was a huge safety issue with OK RV. There is no regulation for safety in the RV industry once you have bought. Walk away and stay in a hotel. Better use of money or buy a vacation home.
