2023 Forest River Wolf Pack 24Gold14. I love this RV for its size and floor plan, but it tows absolutely horrible! I have a 2017 Silverado 1500 that has 9100 lbs towing capacity. This RV weighs 6500 lbs but it tosses my truck all over the road. Towing this is the definition of white knuckling. I had a friend tow it with his 3/4 ton and it was a little better, but it tossed that truck around as well. I believe the trailer has an inherently bad design with excessive tongue weight , extra tall and extra wide. If anyone else has experience towing this trailer, I would love to hear about it. I am planning to trade this in on a Jayco Hay Flight 265 TH, which is 1500 lbs. lighter and 300 lbs. less tongue weight. It is the same length, but is 2 ft. Shorter in height, and 6 inches narrower in width.

I have tryed multiple times to reach out to Camping World in Wentzville Mo and they keep telling me they will call back, But no one does. They contacted my credit union about a trailer I wanted and My credit union told me thay would approve a certain amount . Then I told them I was interested and I needed to know What the total amount was going to be. I was told $36,489.00 .They were supose to get back and no one did even after I made several attemps to reach out to them. I talked with Robert and Jason James and others there, Im very disapointed sofar, when people tell me multiple times they will call back and dont, Make me wonder If they can be trus The next day I went down to Camping World and I understand why they did not contact me it's because they were swamped by customers. I ended up purchasing the camper through them I'm waiting for them to do small repairs on the trailer . Ok I really got screwed. the repair work I was concerned about on the corners of the slide out and other corners were not resealed and they reashured me it would not leak at all and they fully checked it out and every thing was fine. They refused to let me check the roof do to liability reasons. the damage on the slide out on the inside was hidden by new recliners so you could not see the damage. Here is the real kicker, they told me that the trailer was going to cost me 38,995.00 and my payments were only going to be $455.29 a month and did not tell me there was going to be a $42,957.20 Finance Charge. for the lone. total of $81,952.20 for a 2019 wolf pack 25pack12 travel trailer. If I would have known I would have left without it.I strongly beleave I got Really screwed over. People they do not have the customers best intrest in mind. they are willing to hide the damage and be dishonest just to make a sale, Jason James Rv Sales Associate helped

It has become a love hate relationship. The quality of materials inside are completely trash. Things a swelling and delamination is occurring left and right. Camper dry with no leaks so how is this happening. Front door came unglued. Living area is too small. The a/c is not the greatest the further back you go and almost none existing in the garage. The worst is the towing. Got a different truck believing this was my problem and its not. The fresh water tank is behind the back tires and the fuel tank. When these are full and the garage is loaded it really throws off the balance for the towing vehicle, and I have a dually. Should have kept my 315, rode better with the fresh tank full using a 3/4 ton truck

Like many the quality is very poor on the build. The door framing trim does not line up on the doors. My power disconnect was wired wrong Turning ALL the lights on inside and out when in off position. The fridge came loose driving it home for the first time from dealer. It swung in and out like a pendulum. Doors had holes which looked to be filled with some type of filler. Check valve in my water connection for city was broke so my pumped water poured straight out onto the ground for that connection. Screws holding curtain trims in living area were falling out of the holes on two of them. In the pump compartment all would shavings and wall piece cut out were left inside on floor. Bathroom cabinet out too far and can’t bend to spit/rinse after brushing and taps too far back to barely wash your hands. Bad design. Also bathroom door barely latches closed. Frame too far away. Wood panel under king bed is very sloppy. Piece of plywood screwed to frame. Cheap design no thought and will break because it bends downward on two cheap hinges. Main light switch works backwards to the rest. Nice unit just no attention to details of my $50,000.00 investment. Extended warranty Diamond coat etc included in that price.

Number one I would NEVER recommend this RV to anyone!! We've had nothing but trouble since we've had it. We couldn't understand while it was sitting at home the door would pop open! Had to keep it locked and that was so hard I would have to get my husband to do it. This year we left for Rodeo, NM in November. Since being here we have had time to find all kinds of crap going wrong. We could live with the door problem, but when the shower started leaking we found some idiot didn't caulk the edge!! That's ok we have the know how to caulk it. But then...the toilet started leaking stinky, smelly sewer water all over the floor. Thank God for internet! We also found out this model was recalled for just that reason! Hubby pulled it out and it was ok for three weeks, but again it started leaking!! He pulled it out again and now we're waiting to see if it's fixed! Finally got my hubby to check out why the bathroom door wouldn't stay shut...the STRICKER plate was not lined up with the latch. Since that was that doors problem he thought maybe that was the entry doors issue! Sure enough!! That STRICKER plate is so flimsy I could bend it!! This thing is to keep us safe!! Ha...junk!! Now we're getting a terrible smell every so often, it's hard to tell from what but according to the internet it might be a stuck or incorrectly installed breather! This camper has been the camper from hell!! We're just praying nothing else goes wrong but if it does I just hope my hubby can fix it! It's just a good thing he's such a good handyman!!

I just used my camper for the first time bought it 2 weeks ago. As a first time RV buyer it was the worst experience. The purchase price of this trailer was 35k you think with a price tag like this it would have better mattresses. I felt as though i slept on a hard concrete ground. A broken fridge, a broken sink that leaked. A beautiful trailer but too many problems. I never thought i had to do a 360 inspection on a brand new camper after it had already passed an inspection. To the makers of these campers provider better mattresses and better inspection before being sold. I was very excited to use this camper but disappointed i wasn't able to sleep. I would of had better sleep in my 100 tent with blowup mattress. I'm angry to be so disappointed about something i was so excited to finally have.

The tongue weight appears to be much heavier than described, though I haven,t checked it for weight. I have had to make numerous fixes to the Brand New trailer. Areas of molding on the outside was coming unglued in spots. I had to use clear caulking to squeeze into the areas. the doors inside were just barely latching, because the door was too far from the frame. I made metal plates to shim the door latch plate out further. I made shelves for the cabinets, because they were just a big open area that made 23rds of the cabinet useless. The sealing tape on the top of the slideout is peeling off. the propane gas line (for hooking up a gas grill outside) that is under the trailer is unpainted and severely corroded. A lamp over the dining booth was broken and the dealer said he would send me a new one (I told them I could install it). It never arrived and the dealer would not give us an answer. The thermostat, also, did not work at the dealership. They had a tech look at it and gave us the "it's all fixed" line. We got home and it WAS NOT fixed. I called Forest River and to their credit, they sent me a new lamp and a new thermostat. The fridge does not seem to get cold enough. Also, they DO NOT provide any kind of operational manual for their trailers, Just a generic one online, not a trailer specific one. I would not, personally, buy a Forest River trailer, again.

We just purchased our wolf pack 27 pack 10 RV, overall we really like it but there are a few things that need better attention at the factory. First thing was the battery disconnect switch was wired backwards, the tub surround was never caulked, the stairs were hitting the rubber tire fender and ripping it off the side of the trailer, all of which were small fixes I did myself but I shouldn't have to on a brand-new unit. Also we had the windows tinted as they aren't from the factory and it is very hard to keep it cool inside forest river should definitely start using tinted glass in all windows and they need to do a little better on their quality of work and final inspection
