This motor home sold new for $120,000 at a discount dealer, with an MSRP of $165,000. Even though low priced, it has all the same high quality components and systems as the so-called luxury models, such as Cummins engine, Allison Transmission, Freightliner chassis, Bendix brakes, Neway suspension, fully automatic hydraulic leveling system, Onan genset, Michelin tires, Six-way Flex-Steel power seat, Corian counter tops, full-body paint. Overall lifetime fuel efficiency is an impressive 9.8 mpg over 48 states and 7 provinces.

The Berkshire is a rv to drive with great maneuvering ability in tight spots as well as the highway The wide open floor plan makes for lots of room for 2 or more. Whether you go for a weekend or a month it has all the comforts of home.

Bought it from MHS in Alvarado, second owner. Have lived in it full time for over a year now. Taken it to Southern California, gulf coast and across Texas twice. Have zero complaints on it. What has gone wrong on it was caused by the first owners, evidently they weren't familiar with the do's and don't s of RV maintenance. But nothing that I have been able to reconcile. Love how it drives, has the 340 Cummins but doesn't suffer from lack of power. We have it loaded to max GVWR and towing a 2015 Kia Sedona on a tow dolly. I outpull the big rigs up Texas Canyon in AZ or Ranger Hill no sweat. Very happy with my purchase as there are no perfectly constructed unit of any brand.

An incredibly agile and comfortable rig to drive. The floor plan is suitable for families or grandparents looking to see North America. Easy maintenance, little to no mechanical issues and remarkable efficient. This rig is impossible to beat.

Bought ours off a consignment deal. Diesel division of FR has been very supportive. Gorgeous coach. We took it on a 2 k mile trip this summer towing our Jeep. We’ve replaced the electric step and a tailpipe.

The quality on the overall unit is horrible. The use of plastic screws and clips, the furniture is literally disintegrating after 3 years. We're the second owners and the manufacturer won't stand behind nothing. We'll never purchase another Forest River product. By the time you fix the shoddy workmanship and replace the garbage nuts, bolts, screws, clips, fake wood contact paper, you'll spend as much as you would on a Tiffin. It's a shame they took over Coachman because they were fantastic with our prior unit. The Girard water heater sucks too. Very unhappy with this unit.

Some great features...just purchased this 2015 bus in Fec 2016 with 7400 miles. Was surprised by some ongoing issues: The hot water system requires a manual reset every couple of days (thanks to You Tube, we know how to do that)...the residential fridge door magnets are incredibly lame & don't keep the doors shut...we have to triple bungee the doors to keep them from flying open...already had to have the whirlpool washer serviced, (thank goodness for the warranty!)...can't access the back of the large screen TV...it doesn't swing out...(a real hassle)...the dead bolt latch strike plate doesn't work...and be VERY careful if your driving in cold weather...our air ride system had a catastrophic failure!! Just try to get help for that!! Terrifying is the ONLY way to describe "that" experience. Just know what your getting into... Livability though is the upside.
