The Heater and the Water Tank are also a plus for Fall and remote camping for sink and potable water.

For us, after owning 4 popup campers, our preferences have been an evolution rather than always clear up front. In the early years budget was our key decision influencer so we started with a budget Viking model. It was OKAY at best. Over time we could see the camper quality was not high and components were not built to last. Then we bought a Jayco and while there was some improvement, it was modest. As we long admired Coleman campers we then bought a Fleetwood Utah model with a slideout and a lot of room. A very impressive popup that I still valued but as we aged the setup and teardown ease and time required became a bigger factor. Also we were told slideouts don't hold up well and other problems like the added weight to tow and at least two people needed to set it up created the wisdom we applied when we bought our 2008 Fleetwood Cheyenne. We loved that it still feels spacious inside when opened but with a dry weight of 2010 pounds and gross weight of 3000, our 6 cylinder SUV pulls it up Colorado mountains quickly and easily. Thus we get where we are headed at the speed limit. We like that the frame is steel and the fabrics are top quality as are the mattresses. The easy set up and tear down of the kitchen takes all of one second. The great ventilation eliminated the need for an air conditioner. A simple fan adds a breeze but rarely needed. It's easy for two or three people to move about and taking grandkids camping means we can sleep up to 6 but two adults and two kids feels about right. Everything works great and looks like it will continue to work great for a long time. My wife's shoulder surgery means we have to sell a camper it took us 8 months to find and that was perfect for two adults, even as seniors. We expect whoever buys it to really enjoy it...now for the right reasons.
