The best RV I have ever owned. The quality is far beyond what you can buy from 2017 and newer. I have owned 3 RVs before this one, Class C, Tow behind, and 5th wheel tow behind. All models were newer than 2017. The 2012 Fleetwood Expeditions are built solid with thick walls constructed with metal frame, plywood panels and fiberglass outer shell. The roof is 1 piece fiberglass on top of 1/2 inch plywood around metal frames. I weigh 260 lbs and walk on my RV roof all the time with no issues, no deflection. Gas lines are copper pipes with flared fittings to last. All electrical wiring for 120 VAC is 12 AWG AND 14 AWG Romex, residential wiring. All Inverter connections are quick snap connections. Access panels located in specific areas to access plumbing, gas and electrical lines for easy access fir repairs/replacements. Original hot water heater and gas heaters still work and were recently serviced. I have driven this rig in northeast US, during heavy rain and snow storms, with no issues. Camped in 95F and 10F weather with no cooling or freezing issues. The rig is heavy, with Freightliner classy, built like a tank. The cummins diesel easily pulls my 10K car hauler trailer with 2022 Ram 1500 truck loaded.

She's a big girl and needs some practice to park in back in locations.

We loved the floorpan with the booth dinette and the L shaped sofa facing the TV. All worked great when our grand kids stayed with us. Tons of storage below. There is a compartment that could be used for a freezer or additional rig. The pass through retractable slide tray was great for the heavy stuff like our portable Blackstone, gas fire pit, out door furniture. We put 20,000 miles with over 25 trips in 2 years and never had a mechanical our house issue.

You may find you'll have a tough time using up all the space. Easy to drive and to maneuver. Towing is a breeze! Easily tow the family minivan. Throw all of your seats down in the van and use your van to carry all of your bikes without losing precious cargo space under the Rig. Fantastic RV for families with kids. Still have access to the entire Rig even when it is fully closed.

We started traveling with 2 Travel Trailers, upgraded to 3 Gas Motorhomes — 2 of them Class A’s. After switching to this Class A Diesel Pusher, the difference in drivability was the difference between day and night. Drivability in the mountains, handling in high winds- especially cross winds — and acceleration, passing other vehicles, top speed, and fuel mileage was so much better. The unit has lots of storage inside and out. With 2 slideouts living space was another major improvement. We enjoyed a number of 5-6 week family trips with up to 8 people from 3 generations. Two members of the oldest generation lived in it seasonally in Florida for 3 winters and were very comfortable. It has a been a wonderful home away from home and has enabled us to create many wonderful and memorable family experiences. It is with great sadness that our family travels have basically ended with our grandchildren now having become adults with jobs, limited scheduling availability, and their own kids.

We purchased the 2005 Fleetwood Excursion in 2014 when we retired . Sold our home in MN and traveled around the USA the first few years. We had no issues with the motorhome. We have been in a 55 and older resort for the past 5 years and live in the motorhome and also a Texas room . Our motorhome had one previous owner before us . We have had the usual repairs and updates . Tires, 2 new motors for air conditioners, new temperature gauges, but over all nothing different than owning a home . I love our Excursion it has been a good home for us. Because my COPD is getting worse we will be purchasing a home and selling our motorhome.

We have lived full time in our RV for 7 years and it has been one of the best experiences of our lives. We have all the amenities we need at our age over 65, that we would have in a sticks and bricks home only less expensive and more comfortable living. 4 TV’s, convenient kitchen with microwave and convection oven, plus gas oven, 3 burner stove. Nice size double door refrigerator, queen size sleep number bed, nice shower, washer dryer combo that works perfect and so convenient. We have had only minor problems with the coach easily repaired by myself. All chassis service was provided by an RV service center with reasonable cost. If I were to purchase again I would buy this model. Fleetwood has been extremely helpful providing model #’s and part #’s and information needed to maintain our motor home. Owners manuals and service manuals are provided for all components on the motor home.
