I have been looking to purchase an RV for about a month. My preference has been to purchase one with low miles and low gen hours. Today I came across an ad by Ginny of El Monte RV Sales in Santa Fe Springs. First off, she is one of the rudest people I have ever dealt with and is very condescending. She placed an ad where she requests a direct call to her cell (which I complied with). The ad was for a 2019 Thor ACE 30.4 with ZERO miles!!! When I call and inquire she tells me it has over 25,000 miles and never answers my 2nd question about total gen hours. The reason she hung up is because she didn't like me calling her out on her "bait and switch" and predatory ad customs. She posts an ad all over social media for a 2019 with ZERO MILES. What would the regular, reasonable buyer infer? Answer: That the RV is new! When I asked her why she doesn't put the actual miles on the ad - like every other company - she responds that, "Anyone that knows about new rvs would know that new rvs don't come with zero miles." Well...guess what? I didn't know that and would bet a million that 99.9999% of other buyers would guess the same because the rv is a 2019 (it is totally possible). They know what they are doing, but don't like to be called out on it. These rvs are from their rental stock. If they can't be forthcoming and honest in their ad practices, what would make you think they would disclose problems, safety concerns, mold, damage or dangers on the used rv from rentals (who are known to not take care of them?) Ginny hung up on me because she didn't know how to deal with an intelligent customer, her and her company's loss. If i could put 0 stars or negstive 0 stars i would! They are playing with me and mt families safety! --- DO NOT PURCHASE FROM EL MONTE RV SALES! THEY ARE HORRIBLE IN THE CUSTOMER SERVICE BUSINESS AND WILL SAY ANYTHING TO MAKE A SALE! Show less
