Back window was leaking first heavy rain, 2 weeks after purchase from dealer lot. Dealership sent someone out that just caulked the crap out of it. Still leaks during a heavy storm. Thankfully it's easy to clean up and maintain. Now both windows on each side of the loveseat leak. The sink frame gave way and fell inside the cabinets. They better supported it at the warranty repair, but their caulk job looked that of a toddler. They make you bring in your camper while it takes them months to repair the most simple items. Dealership tries like hell to get out of every warranty repair and bills you for their goons who are worth $10 hour but charge you hundreds per hour. The unit (2021) should have a tankless so you can shower as long as you choose! but alas... it's a small tank and hot water runs out quick. AC sounds like you're in a turbine!!! Can't carry a conversation indoors during the summer. Loud as HECK! Bed frame is cheap pressed wood and even average weight people will be replacing the wood. Lifting the bed for access to the cubby underneath is a job. Nothing to lock it in the up position so you have to balance the bed on your back to try and get anything in or out of it. I like the bathroom space but the extra sink is pointless; not enough room for two people in there at the same time. Porcelain toilet is a plus. Stairs squeaked after weeks of owning. Awning is separating from the mount and its motor corner covers detach falling on the ground. All the molding and trim falling off, even at the dealership new. I was assured they would fix it but NOPE. Promises even in writing are hard sought. the ceiling panels are falling as the pathetic staples are working their way out of the panels. Floor is weak and shakes the island. You can see the floor flex when someone walks. JUST RIDICULOUS. Floor should be better supported. THE WORST of the unit.... The slides aren't level. They wont fully extend to fall into position. So the far side of the slide is lower than the camper floor. The stove in the big slide, because of the slide not sitting properly, is not level causing the food to run to the back side of the pans. The table sits crooked permanently in the front slide. Had a repair company out and they weren't able to adjust it. Wood cabinet doors all shred out of the screw mounts. The front entry door handle opens on the wrong side. forces you up against the slide where you have to swing the door wide open to get in. Just stupid! Who the heck was in charge of that design?! SMH. The Black water and one Gray water are in the control station. The most used gray water handle is down in another hard to get to area? like what?!! What's the point of having the access panel for only 2 tanks and the a third down away from it by the axels???? AGAIN, STUPID DESIGN. There's lots of covered spaces that could have been converted to better storage in the kitchen. The pantry should have drawers instead of shelves. The "surround system" worked for a few months. One outdoor speaker stopped working and no quality sound, just treble. Can't connect the "surround" to the television for better sound. Not a smart TV, which I'm fine with. We would have picked a unit without a microwave and just overhead light/exhaust with more storage space. The microwave comes on by itself randomly and lights up with the carousel slowly turning, as it's a replacement because the first button panel didn't work. JUNK. The double door Refrigerator needed warranty repair as it would only work on propane. Not going to jinx myself by saying it's been good since. The self leveling feature is not accurate. We will perform self level three times back to back and it will be in three different positions. We must manually level with the controls. The over kitchen water detecting fan opened on its own during a rain when we were away and fried the circuit board. Luckily it was under warranty with a recall so they sent a new board. Waiting to swap that out. I like the easy to pull out couch bed. You pull it out with a tab and push it back in to go back to couch. easy. The entertainment center is very limited for storage. They wasted A LOT of space. They could have built a retraction unit behind the fireplace and placed a window since you have very little view on that back side of the unit. TV out of the way since it's hardly used. Also a window could have been placed above the stove to help with that blind side of the trailer. The driver's side of the trailer has very little places to see out. Winter is a hassle. You'd think they'd place some snaps or channels to install panels to keep under the trailer from freezing. NOPE. Tried to make the least hokie setup work. tsk tsk. I wish I could say I loved it. Out of everything my biggest pet peeves is the slides hanging, the small water heater tank and the door opening on the wrong side.

I had a reese goosebox installed and it pulls like a dream. Overall only months into it, but we love it so far. Would recommend.

The handles to the black tank are hard to maneuver. The microwave died within 10th use of it. The trim is falling off. The tv sometimes works. The awnings squeal and the plastic bits are falling off. The shower floor is already soft. I mean the list goes on. Cheaply made. Really regret it.

The only draw back is the weight. It's heavy, but you must understand if you want something as solid as this it will be heavy. Even with an aluminum frame fifth wheel it still weighs in as more than 13,000 lbs. I would buy another, if they still made them like this.

Don’t buy a Dutchmen. You might start by falling in love with the lovely floor plan. I have to admit that it is awesome! I love everything about it! The living room is spacious! The kitchen island is fantastic! Great storage. And OMG! The full size bathroom was a huge part of why we chose this model! BUT! Everything service and warranty has been ridiculous. We bought out RV to live in. We were beyond excited!!! When we received it at our RV park, we only thought about starting our lives in our new home!! We started getting settled and accepted that maybe everything wouldn’t be perfect, but we had bought the full warranty and we were assured that we would be well taken care of! So we started noticing some issues. Some pretty significant, so we reached out to both the service department of the RV dealership (sorta nightmare in and of itself), but they at least tried. They helped us get a mobile RV repair company to come out, and they put together the information needed for the warranty department. First, the alignment of the slides was off. Because of that the cables to the slides have snapped. The brackets are sinking into the walls. The RV repair company has sent all of the information needed for the warranty to be fulfilled. But no!! We now have been told we have to load up our home, drive it 2 hours to the RV dealership because they want the service department to examine the slides. It has already been noted by a certified RV repair company that they are out of alignment. The same RV repair company that came out to fix an initial issue that was approved. So…. Anyway…. Their warranty department is ridiculous and difficult to work with. Their service is awful. The quality, while it initially appears lovely is crap. If I had it to do again I would never follow through and buy a Dutchmen again.

Please people, do your research on these campers. My husband and I have been camping for 20 plus years and have had 4 campers in that timeframe. We currently have a Dutchman Voltage 4145 and we are almost at a year of having it. It is the nicest camper we have had and honestly the most problems. Can you imagine going camping for a week with several kiddos and your refrigerator doesn’t work? Well we have had it to the shop 3 times for this problem that is still not fixed. We even had to pay someone while we were at the beach to come look at it. Nothing like having to go the grocery store daily because your food will go bad. So the last time we had it there, they tell us it’s working. They say bring it up set it up and let it run for 24 hours. We did exactly that! Well guess what? The freezer has water in it and the refrigerator is at 60 degrees. I’m not typically a complainer but we work hard for what we have and those of you know these campers are not cheap. So at this point, we still have no working refrigerator and freezer and maybe they will approve it because they did deny it. So please please do your research before you consider a Dutchman. It’s sad because growing up I always thought this was an excellent brand. Also, for those that are campers the quality continues to go downhill with how they construct these high dollar units. One frustrated customer.

So many problems with it we are afraid to take it more than 90 miles from the house and that has only happened once. Rest of the trips have been 15 miles from the house. Just got it back from the shop literally on Saturday. We went 15 miles from the house. Hot water heater quit working and sink is leaking all over the place. 1st trip of the year and we picked up right where we left off. Lake then back to the freaking shop. Your campers are garbage. Should've stuck with a Jayco J-flight
