Very unprofessional and unproductive service visit. Brought my unit in for a Fantastic Fan not working, hoping they could diagnose the problem. Even though they are a “premier” DOMETIC dealer and warranty repair (as listed on the Dometic warranty page) did not do any diagnostic inquiries on the fan. Was just told they recommend to replace a less than 2 year old fan. Was also informed they did NOT do warranty work a direct quote “we sell Dometic products but don’t repair them”. With a parts quote of $450 plus 3-4 hours labor we opted to pick up our camper. Once home we noticed they did not even put the base plate of the fan on correctly. Which caused the vent lock to be bent. I guess I should be grateful they left all the extra screws and lock tab in a baggie for me to fix. I ended up paying $107 for an undiagnosed problem that was more screwed up than I left it. I’ll not be returning and advise you think twice about your repairs.

Where to start? How about the worst customer service I have ever experienced. We had some damage from a leak and took our camper there in November 2020. Granted it took a bit to get the claim going but both the adjuster and I tried repeatedly to get Colerain to send pictures and a detailed estimate. Finally in March they did and we got our claim check from insurance in May. Months go by and absolutely no progress and no communication unless we reached out. We had to cancel every trip we had planned and did not get to camp all summer. Finally they finished the repair in September. But it took lots of emails, calls and visits to see any progress or know what was happening. And when after 10 months of miserable service, we went in to pay, the manager Jason didn’t even bother to get out of his chair to apologize for their complete ineptitude. The claim check exceeded the amount of repairs so then we had to have them mail us the overage check. And despite giving them our new address, they sent the check via UPS to our old address and it was left on the front porch. Fortunately the new owners got it for us. We will never have our camper on their lot again and when we upgrade we will not consider them at all. And if you are smart you will steer clear as well. Completely terrible customer service and they should be embarrassed. If I could give them negative stars I would.

Colerain RV in Delaware Ohio (part of the Family RV group) has been WORTHLESS since we left the lot with our brand new 2021 Jayco RV. Their service department does not even attempt to provide decent customer service. It's the worst I have ever experienced. They seem to be as unhelpful as possible - stay away or you'll be sorry! Buying from this dealer was a terrible mistake. We bought a new 2021 Jayco Melbourne 24L in December 2020. Our interactions were limited when we picked up our brand new unit due to COVID precautions, but the sales department was fine. It's the service department that is AWFUL. In the spring of 2021 we needed to get the brand new unit unwinterized and have some broken lights fixed. We dropped the unit off and from that point on, Colerain was not responsive and hard to deal with. They did not communicate with us and took longer than expected. It was hard to get ahold of anyone or get questions answered. They were difficult to work with and not helpful with our insurance claim on the broken lights (caused by vandals). We were very disappointed as this was not what we expected so quickly after giving these people over $90,000. Unprofessional and uncaring. Our next interaction was pitiful. Before our first trip, we called the service department (during regular business hours) for advice on filling our water tank. We had a quick question that only required a brief response from someone slightly familiar with RVs. As we are complete novices, we just needed to know what setting to use for filling our fresh water tank. The service technician was rude, did not even try to help us and told us to call the Jayco 1-800 number. After waiting over an hour on the Jayco 1-800 number, we hung up and found the answer on YouTube. Answering our question would've taken one minute for the dealer service department. Normally one would expect a dealer to be willing to assist its customers with basic information about an expensive product it just sold. Not Family RV - Colerain DOES NOT CARE ABOUT ITS CUSTEMERS. Colerain Family RV has the worst service department I have ever dealt with on any product I have ever purchased. We will never go back and advise everyone to purchase elsewhere. Don't expect to be treated decently just because you spend $90,000 on a brand new RV from these people. They are TERRIBLE and worthless.

If I could have given zero stars, I would have. Colerain RV is not a company a buyer can depend upon. I agreed with the Columbus branch on a motorhome purchase. I explained that I would be driving from SW Washington to take delivery and needed to ensure the unit was completely serviced and ready to go upon my arrival. In early March I flew from Washington to Columbus to inspect the unit and make arrangements, including setting the delivery date on April 17. I explained that I would be leaving my home on April 13 to make the 3-plus day drive and wanted everything done by the 13th, including oil changes on the coach motor and generator, since the unit was used. I was promised everything would be done by April 13. The first week of April I began calling to check status. The salesman kept putting me off until April 10th when he told me the inspection wouldn’t take place until the 13th and that would be the earliest he could give any status updates on repairs. I told him I was going to have to cancel the sale and asked to speak with the Sales Manager. Surprisingly, the salesman would not allow me to talk to the Sales Manager. I sent an email to the Home Office expressing my displeasure and of this writing have not heard back from them. Customer service and customer Satisfaction are seemingly not valued by Colerain RV.
