Colerain RV in Delaware Ohio (part of the Family RV group) has been WORTHLESS since we left the lot with our brand new 2021 Jayco RV. Their service department does not even attempt to provide decent customer service. It's the worst I have ever experienced. They seem to be as unhelpful as possible - stay away or you'll be sorry! Buying from this dealer was a terrible mistake. We bought a new 2021 Jayco Melbourne 24L in December 2020. Our interactions were limited when we picked up our brand new unit due to COVID precautions, but the sales department was fine. It's the service department that is AWFUL. In the spring of 2021 we needed to get the brand new unit unwinterized and have some broken lights fixed. We dropped the unit off and from that point on, Colerain was not responsive and hard to deal with. They did not communicate with us and took longer than expected. It was hard to get ahold of anyone or get questions answered. They were difficult to work with and not helpful with our insurance claim on the broken lights (caused by vandals). We were very disappointed as this was not what we expected so quickly after giving these people over $90,000. Unprofessional and uncaring. Our next interaction was pitiful. Before our first trip, we called the service department (during regular business hours) for advice on filling our water tank. We had a quick question that only required a brief response from someone slightly familiar with RVs. As we are complete novices, we just needed to know what setting to use for filling our fresh water tank. The service technician was rude, did not even try to help us and told us to call the Jayco 1-800 number. After waiting over an hour on the Jayco 1-800 number, we hung up and found the answer on YouTube. Answering our question would've taken one minute for the dealer service department. Normally one would expect a dealer to be willing to assist its customers with basic information about an expensive product it just sold. Not Family RV - Colerain DOES NOT CARE ABOUT ITS CUSTEMERS. Colerain Family RV has the worst service department I have ever dealt with on any product I have ever purchased. We will never go back and advise everyone to purchase elsewhere. Don't expect to be treated decently just because you spend $90,000 on a brand new RV from these people. They are TERRIBLE and worthless.
