We were very excited to get our Rv! We were told it was ready for us we put a $3,000 Deposit down and booked our flights.$549. The sales guy Austin told us he would pick us up but we told him we would Lyft to our bank which would be closer to him anyways. 5lyfts later that denied us A Lyft driver decided to take us an hour away(Lyft driver gets a five⭐️)We got to the bank and let our sales guy know we were there waiting on him. His response was “my manager said there isn’t enough staff there are 5 trailers I’ll send an Uber”.We waited 15min and said “were you gonna send the screen shot of the Uber so we know what car?” He stated his Ubers not working if we could just get it on our app. So we did. He paid us $20 for it. We got to camping world and went to be shown the Rv. We did the inspection walk through they do and while doing so the slide out wouldn’t move. So they called service department. The service department didn’t know what was going on. Then we said well let’s see the back up camera. Supposedly the guy “thought” he turned the Rv on we saw check engine light, oil change needed and low tire pressure light (later they said the vehicle wasn’t turned on that’s why and said the engine light wasn’t on)… weird right?Gets weirder… so they take us to service area to the Rv like we are stupid to show us “cause the Rv wasn’t turned on” the back up camera is on watch I will show you, we go to see he turns it on and says “oh weird you’re right the camera isn’t working.” duh and we know y’all cleared the check engine light off as well because all the other lights weren’t on like the battery light etc, when we asked for the code it was a big deal to give so y’all had to come up with something right. So, after that 3hrs later they pull the camera wires to show us, they are totally broken and they don’t have any on hand because it’s not a regular system they have. I tell them “ get one off your shelf then!” Simple stuff you guys have a bunch of cameras install another I came all the way on a plane here. They said well we can order a new part for you just drive it that way and goto the camp world by your house. Seriously my husband said I have never drove one of these and you want me to drive home with NO BACK UP CAMERA. We said why didn’t we know anything before we booked the trip out and he proceeded to tell us he pulled the camper in to the bay and did a full check the day before we came! Bull, I say that because if you did that you would have seen the OIL LIGHT AND IT FLASHING OIL CHANGE ON THE DASH like we did. You would have also tried backing up and notice THE CAMERA DIDN'T WORK! And that the motor on the slide out was burnt out. Another few hours later you decide to install a new camera to only realize that camera burnt out when you plugged it in as well… obviously a shortage somewhere. The entire day we were told it’ll be ready in 30minutes hang tight. Just wait let me go see what’s going on give us 30 minutes blah blah over and over. Till my husband said I quit! Give us our deposit and we can go home the finance guy and sales guy Austin both said the finance manager won’t give the deposit of $3k back because of all the work they are putting in. As if it’s my fault right that they didn’t have the Rv ready for the customer with a cashiers check in hand for the full amount no financing required! I can’t get my deposit huh? So my husband calls corporate and they start back up the case we filed earlier that day…we had them on the phone and recording on my phone going and the manager came in and stated realizing he’s being recorded with corporate on phone as well “ We don’t have a good marriage we are going to just let you guys go take your deposit and you can leave” yes he said this to a combat wounded Veteran and wife… he said I’ll give you the $500 gift card off (that veterans get anyways) and a $500 off the purchase for your wait. Which is weird cause he told the other two guys he was going to keep my deposit! We had to get a Lyft to a hotel and flights and Lyft home.I would NOT RECOMMEND THEY ARE INCOMPETENT!

We took our coach to them late February and just got it back (late May.) The first time we went to pick it up the coach wouldn't start because they had left all the electronics on and drained the propane because, in spite of there being a leak; it was left it on as well. The coach had to be jump started to get it home. After one trip of bringing it home we discovered the generator wasn't fixed and the small propane leak wasn't fixed either. Took it back and left it; was told it was fixed and made another trip to pick it up only to find out the generator still wouldn't start. You would think they would have verified the generator was working before they told us it is fixed. Left it there. During the time it was there the entire service department leadership group changed and it was an utter nightmare. The last service manager we worked with tried really hard but I think he is in an intolerable situation. We couldn't get straight information about status of repairs and rarely got a call back when messages were left. Even little things were shoddy-they apparently used duct tape to tape the generator door open and even though we mentioned could they clean it off, it was still on there when we picked it up. The coach is home now and the generator is still not totally fixed. Note: the 1 rating on Sales and Dealership warranty is only due to fact we didn't use and this survey didn't give a choice to not answer those categories.

I was told this was a Christian family business, but let me tell you about our experience with Camping World in Alvarado... My husband and I were shopping for a camper and our credit wasn't the best to work with, but was approved by SAGO Financial. We put a deposit down on the camper to hold for us, this was in December of 2021. We got a call saying that the tow frame on the camper was broke and they needed to order the part and have it fixed before we could drive it off of the lot, because it being a dangerous thing - it could break and flip the camper over while driving. We were also told that since it was a Coleman, they could only get that part through Coleman, so it was going to take awhile. We would have to call and check the status on it all the time, to see how much longer it was going to be before we could pick up our trailer (was guaranteed ours since we had a deposit on it). Well come February, still no trailer. The salesman that we've been working with said he would get back to me. I told him that we had already made a reservation for March spring break to go camping. You would think by then it would be fixed. a few days later my husband gets a call from the finance department and tells us that since it has taken so long for the part, SAGO has gone out of business (bankrupt) and there's no other finance agency that will finance us. Our heart was broken, we spent a LOT of money buying for this particular camper, in their store mind you! Now we were out of money and in a panic all at once....What are we going to do? We went to Fun Town and was finance that day and guess who financed us??? SAGO, yes.... they said that they never went out of business and can't believe we were told that. Camping World flat out lied to us and I personally believe that we had got such a great deal on the camper we had a deposit on at camping world, until the part came in and they realized they were going to be out money because that part wasn't cheap. This isn't right to do people like this, especially after we waiting for several months (not our fault the part was broke) and we spent so much money for bedding and to fix that particular camper up for our liking. VERY UNCHRISTIAN LIKE, TO LIE AND DO PEOPLE THAT WAY....

We have a 2007 Discovery motorhome that experienced a damaged slide rail. After taking it to 4 different repair shops for repairs we were told it couldn’t be fix due to the company who manufactured the rail was out of business. Finally we took it to Camping world in Alvarado Texas and the service manager (Jason) researched and found the part and had it installed and it works like new. I would highly recommend Camping World in Alvarado Texas as your next stop for repairs.

WORST customer service possible. This company replaced my landing gear about 3 months before COVID-19 hit. Due to Covid, we couldnt really go out camping and stuff over the summer. Finally made it out to the lake in October 2020 for my brother in laws memorial service and the landing gear didnt work. They CHARGED ME TO FIX IT because I didnt get it into their service center within the 12 month warranty period. Keep in mind, the 12 month warranty ended ON THE VERY DAY I called them to advise there was a problem that needed to be addressed. They couldnt get me in for a couple of weeks. And when I explained all this, over and over and over again, they just shrugged me off and ignored the situation. Pretended that they were going to help me and then just had one excuse after the next as to why they werent going to cover the repairs on the equipment that their service department CONFIRMED that they INSTALLED INCORRECTLY ! There's plenty of other, quality and respectable, camping supply companies out there. Avoid this one for any and every reason.
