As you probably noticed, our name is a little different and so are we. Blue Dog RV was started by several families moving from all over the Northwest. We came together to form a new and different RV dealership to serve the Northern Idaho/ Spokane area. We wanted to take what we learned at very good dealers combined with our shared vision of customer service for RV sales and service up to a level that people have never experienced. Plan to be pleasantly surprised.

Be aware of BLUE DOG RV in Henderson Nevada. On August 20th I visited their floor looking for a RV. I was greeted by sales person Payton, on the patio while I was checking their RVS by myself . I told her what I wanted. She showed me few until we saw an United that I liked. The price was $ 28 k plus taxes, dealers fees, etc. I tasked her if I could make an offer? She said YES...I SAID: If you guys deliver for free to Bullhead City Arizona and my offer is 28k CASH out of the door and you guys have to pay taxes and fees. She said she would have to talk to her manager and I told her I was carrying the cash with me in case that my offer wasn't accepted I was going to walk out and drive to another dealer. We went inside and I was sitting down and told her again 28,000 Cashwith all the taxes and fees included..my offer was out the door...she spoke to her manager I think her name is Jennie. Payton came back and said OK THE TRAILER IS YOURS. Since they were almost closing the doors they told me to come back to sign the paper work. I had an appointment with the finance manager called MI hall. I was there on te , he left me waiting for 30 minutes while he was walking and talking to other people. When we went to his office to my surprise he said I HEARD YOU ARE NOT GOING TO PAY TAXES and I said:- Não, because that was part of the deal, $ 28 thousand cash offer out of the door with taxes and fees ...He said, NO, WE UNDERSTOOD THAT YOU WOULD BUY AND NO REGISTER.....I was in shock trying to understand on what he said. Do you think I'm going to buy an almost 30 thousand dollars travel trailer and not register in my name? That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Michael finished the paper work and said WE ARE SENDING THE TITLE TO THE BULLHEAD CITY DMV IN ARIZONA in 3 weeks.. you need to give me a call before you go to the DMV. Also we are going to mail you the big decal that goes on the front of the RV. 6 weeks later I went to the DMV in ARIZONA and nothing. I called MI HAEL, he answered very cold, like he did not know me and told me to call a lady called ANNA to solve this matter ( amazing, while I was buying the trailer with money in my pocket, Michael was the nicest guy ever...I see rhat after they sell you a trailer rhey don't care anymore, you are on your own) I called Anna requesting the Title , the decal and told about the problem with TAXES because of my offer...she told the floor manager to call me, the floor manager, I believe her name is Jennie, she said she would talk to the General Manager and call me back. The next day she told me she couldn't get a hold of him and she told me the DECAL was late and I would receive in 6 weeks. She never contacted me back,so I called BLUE DOG spoke to LUE, she was very professional and helpful and told me Jennie or the General Manager would call me within 1 hour...nothing,no call back so I decided to call them. I called the 5 times and no answer. I never been treated like this in my life...everybody was very friendly while I had money , after I bought I've been treated as if I don't matter. The kinda of respect and customer service they will give you is the worse ever. I'm in the point that if they won't pay the taxes I will return their trailer, give my money back and good luck. Horrible Company. Stay away and save yourself of headaches.

This place is not your friend. I bought a new trailer because I wanted to have the warranty. That means for a year I was FORCED to go to this inept and dishonest dealer for repairs. Short list... They damaged my trailer and tried to halfass the repair without telling me. When I called them on it, they agreed to fix it. Been 2 months and still not fixed even though they had me bring it in and they left it on lot for a month. They damaged my freezer door changing a broken speaker and lied to manufacturer saying it was damaged when I bought it. Then didn't put freezer shelf back in. I still do not have a replacement shelf a year later. They scratched front of rock guard removing battery and tried to lie about it accusing me of causing damage. This was the first month I owned it. They finally admitted they damaged it. A year later, still not fixed. When AC broke they told me nothing was wrong and tried to brush off the repair. 3 days later they called and said they would replace the AC. On one occasion they took my trailer in for a repair. For over 2 months I repeatedly called and left messages trying to get a status. I NEVER received a call back. (THEY NEVER RETURN A CALL...EVER!) I finally called Grand Design to complain. I was told my trailer had been repaired 2 months prior. I went into Blue Dog to get my trailer. They lied and said they had called several times. This was another blatant lie! I missed a whole hunting season. Overall, the first year I owned my trailer IT SPENT NEARLY 5 OUT OF 12 MONTHS AT BLUE DOG RV! No, this was not due to supply issues. Each time I dropped it off was after I would have to stop by dealership in person to ascertain if parts were in because THEY NEVER CALL YOU BACK!. It was their mismanagement and lack of any customer service. I have never dealt with a more incompetent and mismanaged dealership in my life! Buy used or choose ANY OTHER dealership to get an RV. BTW I love my Grand Design trailer! Yes, it's had a couple minor repairs needed, but Blue Dog RV has made the experience a nightmare. I am now in the market for an RV! I wouldn't buy it from Blue Dog if they gave it to me for free!

It was not. And then again. And then again. On the 4th trip to pick it up it was fixed. They had it 5 weeks. And this was the best of two experiences. The second one would take a book to write. No phone calls. Even when I went in and talked to the service manager, he did not return my call. Even when I talked to the Regional Service Manager, no solution and no return call. They had the RPod over 4 months. When you buy an rv get it serviced where you buy it. So do not buy here. It would be like getting married and then getting serviced elsewhere. You had better love your dealership.

Total lack of communication, I have had to call multiple times a day to get any kind of status update. I would have given zero stars if possible. They have a great selection, buy here if you are able to go literally anywhere else for your service. I have never had such horrible customer service in my entire life. I am basically near tears at this point.

We purchased a Forest River Alpha Cherokee 26ft camper in April 2020. We immediately discovered some manufacture defects with the trailer. 1st defective item we discovered was the coaxial TV connector in the living room. Called Blue Dog service department and returned to the store to purchase a splitter per their recommendations. Splitter didn’t work and we were told at this time in late April 2020 that the service department was backlogged and the earliest we could schedule repairs was in October 2020. Also the main cabin door would not close or lock. Had to call Forest River Warranty and they deemed that the door was an essential repair item and Blue Dog sent a technician out into the parking lot to work on the door. The technician fixed the door so that it would close, however we discovered the door would not lock. We returned to Blue Dog for service with a significant list of items needing repair including to report that our air conditioner quit in Louisiana and we drove through Texas and Arizona without air conditioning...very hot and uncomfortable. We bought the trailer in late April 2020 and returned in October 2020. Blue Dog once again stated the were 70 or 80 trailers in queue for maintenance. The earliest they could get us in for maintenance and repairs was December 10th 2020. In late November 2020 Blue Dog put our trailer into a queue list instead of bringing the camper in for our December 10th, 2020 scheduled maintenance/repairs. Blue Dog stated they were very far behind and they didn’t have room on their lot for our camper. I was getting frustrated, however I felt we still needed to help Blue Dog out and put our camper into their queue. We brought the camper to their lot a went over every item that needed repairs. The service man put a piece of tape on everything that required repairs. I called Blue Dog in early January to find out where my trailer was in the queue. We delivered the trailer in January 2021 to Blue Dog for scheduled maintenance and repairs. It’s now February 27th and I’ve called Blue Dog several times to discuss how much longer they needed our trailer? During my conversations with the service department I couldn’t believe how unorganized and confused they seemed to be. They never had an answer to our questions and they never returned our phone calls. On February 27th Blue Dog called to discuss a hitch we wanted added to the back bumper of the trailer. This item wasn’t scheduled warranty work, however it did present an opportunity for me to discuss the status of our trailer. Once again the service technician seemed unorganized and very confused. We had identified that the master bed room window leaked when it rained. They stated that this was a maintenance item and Forest River didn’t approve the repairs. I was flabbergasted that they weren’t going to approve the repairs as warranty work. It’s definitely a buyers beware situation with Blue dog and Forest River in that they couldn’t work on my trailer in a timely manner and yet, state, because the item wasn’t reported within the first two weeks it couldn’t be handled under warranty but considered a maintenance item. I couldn’t believe the run around we were getting. On one hand we have Blue Dog’s/Forest River’s best warranty coverage available and they were denying items under warranty coverage. On February 27th, after discussing with Blue Dog the status of several items that we had identified as needing repairs they stated that several parts weren’t due in until the end of March, 2021. We were also still waiting for approval for the leaking bedroom window. I’m very nervous for our 2021 camping trip as our trailer’s repairs wont be finished in time. Additionally, we have not been able to use our camper for months due to the unbelievable backlog in Blue Dog’s service department and unsatisfactory customer service. One of the items we identified as needing repairs after our 1st camping trip was a bad leak under the sink in the bathroom. They had placed a piece of tape on the vanity which was delaminating due to water saturation so they would repair the leak and replace the vanity. I took the camper from them in disgust because we were heading out to visit our grandkids. We discovered that the leaking bathroom was even worse than before. I called the BlueDog Service Manager to discuss the leaks and other items. They stated that they were unable to duplicate the leak. I had enough of this bull so my wife and I removed the vanity and discovered 14 leaking pex fittings. We are now camping and continuously repairing items that BlueDog failed to fix.To everyone reading this post on BlueDog’s facebook page...Beware, don’t buy anything from BlueDog. They will not honor Forest River’s warranty items nor will they ever contact you. BlueDog is not a reputable RV/Camper dealership. They will sell you an RV/Camper but then it’s buyer beware. BlueDog’s service department is beyond incompetent.Trust me you will be an unhappy BlueDog customer.

I was was stuck with a $2000 unit I could not use. I ordered a new bed and Blue Dog kept my mattress and used the one that came with the RV. They sold me tire covers that did not fit my tires after telling me they knew what they were doing. They didn't fit. Would not return my money but offered me other product. However the service manager was gone and they offered me nothing...I lost $100. The turnover at Blue Dog was unreal. Each time I called for help, it was someone new and no record of my conversation. Luckily, I kept records but still, I am out of luck. So will never buy from Blue Dog again. The smart thing.I did was buy and additional 7 years warranty and it looks like I will need it.

He answered a few questions that we had about the unit and shared contact information. We live in Sacramento so we knew we would have to drive or fly to get it. After thinking about it we called and made an offer on the unit they excepted. Told Ken we were driving down and if we didn't like it we would turn around and go home. We arrived and inspected the unit found a few issues but we sat down with Ken and worked them out. Got with Mike in financing and worked it all out. There service department ran us though the orientation for the unit, took it back to the shop completed some add on service we requested and we were done. left that afternoon everything went great on the drive home. Over all everything went great from Ken in sales, Mike in financing and Scott in service. Would definitely recommend Blue Dog RV for a purchase of an RV!!
