BUYER BEWARE: Rep stated Jayco Pinnacle was “A-1, perfect.” It certainly was NOT! Numerous items (water lines) broken, couch cracked and peeling, sofa motor inoperable, marginal house batteries, slides not working properly, washer leaked, refrigerator water lines spewed water, black tanks never emptied. Ugh!
Ad stated unit had a King bed – it came with a queen.
Despite being checked off, numerous items on pre-delivery checklist were NOT tested, were deficient, or inoperable. Checked Items:
1. “Operate All Appliances” Check: a.) reclining sofa motor inoperable, plus fabric is brittle cracking, and falling off in large pieces;
b.) washing machine would not empty (required new pump), also leaked;
c.) BOTH Refrigerator water lines busted (probably from lack of proper winterization). Water poured out from slide out when city water turned on.
d.) Dryer GFCI was also faulty.
2. “Water pump working properly” Check: water line was barely attached and thus leaked
3. “Smoke detector” Check (did not have a battery, so how was it tested?)
4. “Outside shower works” Check: (did not have a hose, again how tested?)
5. “Propane tanks filled” Check: (one was empty, the other half full)
6. Black tank rinse was defective, sprayed water in compartment, vacuum breaker was broken
7. Black tanks were never emptied; Unit arrived our location with gallons of human waste in tanks
All Seasons RV also charged us $595 for this pre-check, which obviously was never done. They also charged $300 for a “starter kit,” which consisted of a cheap sewer line hose without connecting ends, a coiled blue water hose without nozzle, and a 50amp-110 adapter. Total cost on Amazon: $55. We initially declined started kit as we had all necessary hoses and connections, but were told with this kit house batteries would be replaced if necessary. They were not. Batteries at 12.2, dropped to 11.7 when system engaged.
While All Seasons RV did take care of some minor issues, we were left with replacing the bed, pulling the refrigerator and replacing busted water valves, replacing the motorized theater seat recliners, installing new vacuum breaker, and performing other repairs ourselves.
All Seasons RV employed false advertising and totally misrepresented this RV. I would NEVER do business with All Seasons RV of Muskegon again and I would warn others of the same. Lesson learned.
