2022 Thor Motor Coach Four Winds Class C reviews

This drives really rough like a train going over broken tracks. There was a noise banging in our slide so we took it in. They couldn’t find it so we took it in again and I rode around with them and they heard it. They took the slide out and said what it was but it didn’t make sense. It was ok for the first two days of our next trip and the other side started banging. Then it stopped and the old banging came back. There were many other little things wrong like we have to tap our side window shut because it rides so rough the lock slips and the window opens going down the road and then the blinds fall. People told me rvs ride rough but I never thought it would be this bad. I have gotten airborne sitting on the bed just going over a rough road. I love the floor plan especially the north south bed and the color but I’m so disappointed in Thot Show less

They talk you in to extra warranties But you can't get them to fix any thing .The worst one is corner stone warranties they have a loophole for everything. The Quality poor i have wall inside warping and coming apart. a bench coming apart, a refrigerator the chrome panels are coming off . paid for ceramic coating after 4 mouths looks like someone sanded the fiberglass .This is a FOUR WINDS 3/28/22 WITH ONLY 3363 MILES on it. They should be ashamed of the quality of workmanship on this Motorhome. Show less

We just picked up the Thor Four Winds 24F from MHSRV in Alvarado Texas and drove it home to Utah. We chose this floor plan due to it being compact in length but with a full slider it ends up being a nice open size inside. Overall a very nice RV but some minor issues had to be addressed. One stabilizer jack was getting jammed during retraction. Fix: Greased both jackscrews. This should have been done at the factory or at least the dealership. Several cabinet doors opened up during the drive. Fix: Latches needed adjustment and some needed to be removed and tweaked then reinstalled. There should be an inspection done that requires a minimum pull force test with a scale before it leaves the factory or the dealership. Battery tie down straps dragging on the ground. Fix: Tied them to the battery handles. Nooks and crannies of interior had un used screws and other debris hiding in there. Fix: Blew out and vacuumed all nooks and crannies to remove debris. Quality control issue from factory. Several wiring harnesses flopping in the breeze under the coach behind the rear axle. Fix: Installed clamps to secure wiring. Attention to detail could be better in this area. Dinette seatbelt bracket bolt protruding into seat cushion. Fix: Cut off about an inch of the bolt. This bolt is too long and WILL eventually damage the seat back cushion. Overall a very nice coach and worth what we paid but there is room for improvement in attention to detail. Show less

Thor produces an inferior product and does nothing to back it up after the sale. They have very few dealers that are willing to service their product. Customer support is not there at all. I have several issues from no hot water to walls coming apart and more. They say they cannot even take a look at it until October. Brand new and unuseable. Definitely steer clear of Thor products. My wife and I just purchased our first RV, a new 2022 Thor Four Winds 28Z. We looked at many other manufacturers and on-line reviews and Thor was always on top. A week after we took delivery of our motorhome, the Thor Concierge Service called us. They welcomed us to the Thor Family and discussed all the resources available through Thor. These included 24-hour customer support, on-line manuals for everything in the RV and numerous videos showing how run and/or set up every part of our RV. They have now contacted us a couple of times just to check to see if we had any questions. This service is very impressive and really demonstrates a commitment to customer service. A few weeks after our purchase, at the suggestion of our salesperson, we took our RV out for one night at an RV Park close to our home, just to work out all the kinks. Being newbies, we had a number of issues. We called Thor and got the after-hours Customer Support. This service is absolutely amazing! We called a couple of times and they calmly walked us through and resolved each issue. The next day our water heater was not working. We called the Customer Service line again, they diagnosed the problem and walked us step-by-step through the resolution. The representative stayed on the phone with us and shared a number of helpful tips for us related to our RV. I cannot thank Thor enough, everyone was so professional, knowledgeable and helpful. I would highly recommend Thor, because they truly understand the meaning of customer service.
