2022 Riverside RV Travel Trailer reviews

We purchased a new Retro Rv camper from a dealer in Ohio. I have to say this is the cheapest, lowest quality camper I have ever seen. Here is just a brief list of problems with our brand new camper. ( Several areas of the roof and trim were missing sealant, so not sure what kind of water damage has occurred. Missing and poor trim installation on inside. Table is not secure when in up position, cushions do not fit when table is down for secondary bed. Shower pan installed on the outside of the shower walls. Mounting brackets for vent cover on roof installed in wrong place. Wall paneling loose, and causing joint tape to bubble. Exterior door frame not sealed, can see outside / daylight from inside.). Poor design on location of dining and bedroom windows on awning side. Not allowing for a larger awning. Show less

We've used our 135 a half dozen times now (Our is actually a 2023 we purchased new in Late November 2022). We have been happy with it and have had no problems. Everything works, nothing has fallen apart. Some of the other reviewers either bought used versions or needed to actually stay a night in their rv before driving it off the lot to test everything out. The toilet area is extra cramped....I am 5'9" and if I was any taller or had longer legs, i couldn't sit with the door closed. Storage inside the unit is also lacking a bit, but that's a problem with all little RV units I think. Otherwise...we love the rear entry floor plan, it allows for us to use the entire camp-side of the trailer to hang a screen and use our projector to watch NHL/NFL/MLB/EPL games when we have 5G service. The pass-through storage is plenty big for us, and the AC is more than sufficient for this size trailer...and we live in AZ. Show less

I've had three of these incredibly well made trailers. Only 16' with the tongue, head room is over 6'1" under A/C and almost 6'3" everywhere else. Tows like a dream and really easy to maneuver. I was surprised how tight they are when I was caught in a hurricane in Hilton Head island. I read all the reviews and since I was going to live in it), I did all the little things to tighten it up and although nothing cosmetic, I never had a problem with mice, leaking, mold, access, security or water, electric, and communication system. Incredibly well made. I looked at three brands in this price point (this was more by several thousand dollars and worth every penny) and one brand (will not name the brand), you couldn't open the cabinets as they hit the A/C? Riverside Retro RV was the BEST made of ALL. Show less
