My motorhome has been having issues since it was new. It’s been down over 4 months waiting on approval and parts from Jayco. The door hasn’t been right since I bought the motorhome in August 2022. This problem has been worked on multiple times but never fixed. About 3 months after I purchased to motorhome, Affinity notified me that there was a crack in the cab over. I’m a little concerned that there is structural damage in the door area that wasn’t addressed when the crack was repaired. They knew about the damage when they sold me the motorhome but failed to mention it. The issues, besides the door are: Leveling system doesn’t work Cameras, backup and sides do not work. CO alarm goes off intermittently when operating generator Wall paper in bathroom coming off Tiles in bedroom loose When I fill the fresh water tank and start driving, the water siphons out. The center burner on the stove fails to light from the striker intermittently. The results of which are a flash of fire under the stove top when the propane ignites. The intermittent issues never seem to occur when checked by the technician. So, nothing is done. The procedure for getting a motorhome repaired is very time consuming and frustrating both for the customer and the dealership. Step 1 Make an appointment to drop off the motorhome. Stem 2 from 1 to 2 weeks after drop off to have a technician diagnose the problem Stem 3 take pictures and submit warranty claim Step 4 Jayco takes 1 to 2 weeks to review the claim and notify the dealership Step 5 order parts or repeat step 4 if Jayco needs more information. Step 6 parts are shipped Step 7 parts are received takes a week or more Repair is now 4-6 weeks in and actual repair is just starting. Probably takes another week to assign a technician and start repair. I took my motorhome in on October 17,2023. I picked my (not repaired) motorhome up on two different occasions because I had plans and reservations. I took it in last week because Jayco needed more pictures. The dealership told me to take it home as they have no idea when they’ll get parts and actually repair it. My motorhome is just over 16 months old with about 6500 miles and has been in the shop 3 times as much as it’s been on the road. I was told that I have 2 year bumper to bumper warranty. I’m over 2/3 into that warranty and still waiting to have day 1 issues taken care of.

We purchased a 2023 (was not listed as a review option) Jayco Redhawk 24b on March 2nd of 2023. We also had a leveling system installed, purchased the extended warranty and a dolly for car towing. As of this review, April 14, we have been unable to use it. The slide-out is not flush when closed, the roof is being replaced and the electricity in the back bedroom of the slide out does not work. We've had to rent a cabin for one of our trips as we can't even use the RV we've spent so much on. Our dealership had been great to work with, but not Jayco. They did not seem concerned that we have a brand new RV that we can't use!!! We have a two week family vacation coming up as well and no idea when the repairs will be completed. I would not recommend purchasing a Jayco RV at this time because of this

Let me start by saying i do not work for a dealership or an RV manufacture. i am a consumer. i do choose to look on the positive side of things, but nothing is perfect. We have purchased 4 RV's since starting camping. We had 2 bumper pulls and 2 class C motorhomes. For the money i don't think you can beat a Class C. They are not cheap by any means, but they give you the most bang for your buck. We purchased other brands than Jayco but have found that Jayco is the best. I am biased to Jayco because I have had a great experience with them. No matter what RV you get they are all expensive. With that said this is my honest review of our new motorhome. As soon as we got the motorhome we drove it home and loaded it up and drove it 600 miles, mostly at night. This is our second Jayco Class C Motorhome. We had a 2019 Redhawk 25R. The 2022 is lightyears better than the 2019. The new chassis and motor combination make the motorhome so much better to drive. You get minimal push/pull from semis passing by. the old coach you were fighting it to stay in your lane. Not anymore. It feels more like a big SUV now. The new motor has great torque/power that allow you to climb hills so much better. The old motor struggled climbing up hill but not the new motor. You will get some slow down but it is minimal. i am not able to drive the speed limit and get decent gas mileage. It is a real joy to drive. We have already booked 5 trips for the next year to see different campgrounds. The front seats are very comfortable. The motorhome is great. Don't be fooled when they tell you that the Redhawk is an entry level coach. We found that the 2022 has all the features that we need. Side cameras are not standard on the coach, there is a charging station, ambient lighting, we love the color scheme as it is the farmhouse. The couch and dining seating are very comfortable. My youngest loves the bunches. The bunches will fit an adult very easily. The queen bed is big enough for 2 adults to sleep comfortably. The mattress is al little hard for us so we will be buying a topper. Dual air conditioners in our coach. There are well worth the investment. Plenty of storage on the inside and out The shower is great. It has glass doors that close very tight and a latch to keep them closed while traveling. We found the fit and finish to be top notch. The apple/android car play is great. We crank of the tunes and sing/dance with smiles on everyone's face. The lever is also different on the new coach. It has a big handle to open and close the door. I have found it is the little things that make the big difference. Don't get fooled by a motorhome that has a lot of fancy items to coverup the craftsman ship/design. The TV is not in optimal position but it is usable. The TV is an afterthought in muy opinion. While you are doing your walk thru ask the tech what general maintenance needs to be done to the coach. I have found doing a general inspection of the coach where it is caulked and recaulking is necessary, all the rubber seals on the slide need to be sprayed to keep from drying out. Change the oil in the generator and motor and I think you are good to go. Make sure when you purchase your motorhome you are realistic about what you are getting. No motorhome is perfect by any means because we are all human, but we have found Jayco to be top of the line. you have to expect some things to rattle lose/or crack when you are driving a house on wheels 70 miles per hour down the highway. Just keep an eye on things and you will not be surprised. We had a awesome dealership/salesperson which makes all the difference. If you are in the market to buy a motorhome go see Justin at Great American RV in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. He was excellent. The entire staff at the dealership was great/ We went to 4 other dealerships before buying from Justin. We knew our position, budget and were honest about our expectations. We told them up front all our expectations and Justin worked to get us where we needed to be without breaking the bank. Everybody has to make a profit in order to stay in business. Know your budget and be truthful where you want to be. It is a big investment, but you will save money on vacation by having a house on wheels. Expect to sue your RV at least once a month to get your money's worth out of your investment. No motorhome is prefect. You can always find a couple of things you dislike or want to change, but No matter what you are buying do your research and see what fits you best. It is a big investment but it is well worth it. You can make so many memories with your family that they will never forget. Time is precious. Make memories with your family! There are a couple of things we will change/add. We will add auto leveling and we will change the blinds to the roll up/black out kind. IN my opinion it is a given that you need to add a new mattress or a topper to every mattress in an RV. But i also have bought a base model on all my purchases.

Picked up unit, took home, slide didn’t work. Took in to dealer, parts had to be ordered because tracks were chewed up. We have used 5 times since we picked it up in January each time the slide is an issue and we have had it to the dealer to sync the motors. The right side camera hasn’t worked since our 1st trip, the power tower broke the first time we used it. We hard a water issue under kitchen sink and the cabinet had to be disassembled to get to the water supply which was never properly screwed together. We have a window by the dinette the wind catches it while driving opening it about 1/4 in. We have added additional drawer latches to try to keep the drawer closed, no luck so now we are using a bungee cord. Now the wiring for the hot water heater over heated and melted so no hot water. The dealer can’t get us in for weeks and then parts will have to be ordered then we may get the service. Warranty is a joke and the dealers has horrible customer service. Not a Happy Camper 🙁🙁🙁

That’s a no-brainer to show how long that’s been going on. Took it to Camping World to have these issues addressed a few days ago. Since then it’s rained twice. Still no one has looked at the roof leak. I’m told it’s a process. It’s a freaking roof leak. There will be damage to the ceiling if not addressed. No one at the Greenwood, IN location will take it seriously.ðŸĪŠ

I bought the 2022 Jayco Redhawk 24B on Friday, drove it home. The next trip is back to the dealer asking for a full refund. The awning would not extend when I viewed to vehicle. On the day I picked it up an awning cap fell to the ground. During the test ride drawers slid open. The dealer 'repaired it' but nobody double checked the repair. On the way home the same side facing drawer reopened.I stopped once to clsoe it, but it reopened again. I was advised during my orientation to make sure the driver's seat was not in position to interfere with the full wall slider and to make sure nothing the bed that would interfere with the rear part of the slider. Once home, before extending the slider I checked the seat, and since I had nothing on the floor to slide around ,or on the bed I opened the slider. It made noises of mechanical wheels turning but nothing out of the ordinary, until I heard the sound of cracking wood, but by then it was too late. behind and hidden behind the slider are some drawers which cannot be seen from the slider command center. Since the molding is help on with nails and not screws, the molding began to come loose until the wood began to crack. The slider is designed to fail from the shoddy craftsmanship of the drawers. The slider retracted but never opened again and the fuse panel is on the bottom of the wall that is not accessible with the slider closed! I am unimpressed with Jayco...... oh btw, There is No GPS!!!
