We have owned this unit for a month. Our first outing we learned that there is no gravity fill available. I suppose that is our problem for not noticing this. Subsequent trips we discovered a tear in the couch, the shower strip coming apart, the kitchen drawers misaligned and opening during travel, fridge leaking, door out of square, closet door is warped, dining table broke upon first use, the bathroom sink counter area buckling, screws missing on the exterior metal strips, the battery didn’t work and no reset switch. But, the worst thing was thst the window by the bed was leaking badly. We purchased this in August 2023 brand new but its a 2022 so the window must have been leaking for 2 years. Dealership is telling us that they know there has been leaking because of evidence of water damage but its dry NOW. We asked for our money back. Dearler contacted the manufacturer and we are getting nowhere. We are concerned that there is mold or structural damage but nothing is being done to address this issue. Do not purchase from Highland Ridge!

The size, floorplan, colors, weight were the attraction. We like the chaise lounge option and not having a table in a "fixed location." We have spent over 65 nights in it and towed over 8,000 miles so far. Adequate storage. Bath & shower are just fine. We replaced the mattress day 1. Has attracted admiration of other campers, but unfortunately we can't recommend it. Functionally, it's been a disaster. Initially heater failed to reach any set temp due to a poorly engineered factory installation (heater itself worked). Neither dealer nor factory had an answer, we ended up re-engineering and correcting the installation ourselves (long story), solved, painfully (months), hence 1 star ratings. Electronic thermostat (controls both AC & Heat) not sensitive enough. Both heat and A/C very noisy, cannot correct. Refrigerator (NorCold) failed twice, first control panel, then cooling unit, awaiting another warranty repair. Ongoing problem from day 1 that has interrupted many outings. No provision for gravity fill of fresh water tank, can't prefill tank (water lost through vent tube) and they don't want you to carry water in tank while towing (claim brackets can't support the weight). This requires a lot of planning as many campgrounds in the west don't have pressurized water readily available. Cheapo bath vent fan, really, to be replaced eventually. Sound bar (inside), speakers (outside) not very good quality sound. TV has worked fine. Shower door fell apart but was repaired on the road. Structurally the unit has remained intact, no leaks. Black aluminum skirting had heat related expansion buckle on right side, several screws lost on both sides. Slide out still works but you have to be careful with movement end points.

worst experience in my life. bought a travel trailer noticed many things wrong. mentioned it to them after they ignored us for a month or longer. then they finally had us bring it in to them in December. been calling, sending emails, no response. then when we call and complain, yes we swore at them it had been 4 months of being ignored, they called us and said it wasn't a good fit because we were rude and we needed to come pick it up and that they still didn't fix anything 4 months later. not one time did the manager call us to see what they could do to make it right with our first purchase. I would love to hear from the owner or director. horrible horrible.

We purchased a 2022 highland ridge 26bhs from GoRV Edmonton. I proceeded to drive my family on a cross country trip to Ontario our destination PEI. When we arrived in Marmora Ontario my father in law noticed that the rear right wheel was worn to the mesh. (We drove 8 hours a day for 5 days carrying approximately 6500lbs using a 2018 f150 rated for 9000lbs.) I contacted roadside assistance and they provided a service tech from #7 Auto Service. The tech directed that I bring it to his shop for further inspection. Upon arrival it was determined that the rear axle was not installed properly by the manufacturer. I contacted Jayco to discuss warranty and having the problem corrected. The trailer was difficult to tow because it constantly pulled to the left. I contacted GoRv because Jayco is no help. GoRV had me take it to Owasco RV in Whitby Ontario who found the same issue. Jayco passed the problem to Lippert Axles. Lippert is passing the buck to Owasco. It has now been 6 weeks, I had to drive back to Edmonton to bring my children home. I have lost wages and will need to return to Ontario whenever the repairs are made to retrieve the trailer. We were able to use the trailer to its full capacity for 5 days before it was noticed it was not safe to tow. We have made bi-weekly payments for two months for a new product we can't use. Jayco told me Lippert approved repairs July 12th Owasco had me bring trailer to them 3 times for measurements before I left it there to drive back to Edmonton. Lippert told me they approved repairs on July 29th but Jayco forwarded and email showing Lippert again approved on July 26th. Lippert and Owasco agreed the axle perches were installed improperly, the spring hangars are not aligned properly.

There is a lot to like about a Mesa Ridge 212FB. First trip (3 weeks, with and without full hook ups) exposed some issues. 1. Somewhat insensitive digital thermo controls both heat and A/C. With call for heat blower starts (noisy) and burner cycles on/off while blower runs continuously (ridiculously long battery killing cycle). Two weeks into the trip the heater died completely with no user serviceable options. 2. Fresh water loss, fill tank, drive 200 miles, no water! Found later there is a vent tube flaw dealer is aware of, water goes out vent tube. 3. No provision for gravity fill of fresh water tank (really, no kidding!), only option is pressurized hose fill. Between 1, 2, & 3 the trip had to be cut short. Dealer has 5 week service backlog so trailer is out of service until repaired.

Well, just got this about a month ago and so far so bad........... have about a dozen deficiencies so far which the dealership will address but for 42,638 dollars taxes in you should have very few problems out of the gate. The prices have sky rocketed but the quality has gotten even worse than it's already been. Should have known better than to have purchased during this pandemic fueled out of control pricing but I did love the floor plan and it got me. Can't even use the shower, it leaks so bad the couch is held down by 4, 1 inch wood screws ( 2 on each side) that have pulled completely out when folding the couch back in place, the window above the slide couch doesn't lock in any way shape or form, and I have screws totally missing the foam gaskets around the slide that go directly into the siding with nothing to protect them in the rain, which we get a TON of here on the west coast. That's just a couple of the many issues. Not sure I would recommend this particular unit and if I could I would ask for my money back but unfortunately that's not an option.

I would never buy anything else in my life from Jayco. The unit came with warrantable issues and I have been for a month trying to sort out how to fix it and never got an answer. Their network is pathetic. I live near Toronto and they send me to dealers that don't even work with Jayco anymore. The closest place is 45 minutes away but they are booking service calls in 8 months (I need my problem resoved now). The other places they offer are two hours away or more. Toronto is an 8 million people city and a capital for campers... So I cannot imaginge what it would be in other more remote places. Hell! It has been Hell! Never again!

We researched this camper for a year. We needed a bigger camper to stay in while we built a house Did not know it was made by Jayco. We were warned to to ever buy Jayco. $117,000 and the 1st day the closet shelf fell. 2nd day Master closet sagging and noticed drawers in bunkhouse hits the slide and doesn't come out all the way. The other one slides across the slide vinyl which will eventually tear. The trim on living room slide not secured to the wall. Then the motion sensors are off and on all night 24/7. Even when we are asleep. I read that they are defective. Then our camper is equipped with a winegard 360 which we had to buy a $370 gateway modem for. They day to remove the 2 screws and there are wires to install it. Simple right? Nope. Guess what no wires. Was told we could go on top of camper and unscrew the winegard to see if the wires are in it. Nope again. Screws were covered with sealant. Called jayco twice then they called me . They will not do anything. I will have to take it into a dealer for service. What part of we are in the camper now because we sold our house and are traveling. Where are we suppose to stay? Are they gonna reimburse us for non use of our brand new camper? Nope again. They will not reimburse us for anything. I guess I didn't research enough. I even had a dealer tell us good luck when it's in the shop a week from now. We'll I guess he wasn't lying. Never again. I will tell everyone I know I. Personally, on the internet, social media, anywhere to never , ever buy from Jayco. I am now gonna consult an attorney to see what I can do.
