Horrible quality for a nice unit. Talking with Heartland is a waste of time. No quality checks at assembly, loose parts, fasteners, and just poor workmanship throughout entire unit. Large pertrusion like a golf ball in center of floor! One and half year old and no warranty. No more Heartland junk for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Show less

Bought this rv new this rv has been in dealership and repair shop for 42 weeks out of 52 only got to use it 4 times every time we used it found things wrong 18 pages of issues heartland does not want to extend the warranty even there is stuff has never been used and tried out to see if they work Heartland said sorry about your service but we don't want to help you Show less

My recent encounter with Heartland Travel Trailers has been nothing short of disappointing. Initially drawn in by the positive reputation and enticing features, I was genuinely considering purchasing one of their products. However, after witnessing the appalling quality of manufacturing on my brother-in-law's 2022 Heartland trailer, I am left with no choice but to share my concerns and dissuade others from making the same mistake. The laundry list of Quality Control (QC) issues we observed was simply shocking. A crucial stabilizing jack was inexplicably broken, and loose trim panels on the exterior gave a shoddy first impression. But the real horrors started to unfold inside the trailer. The countertop, for instance, had a fastener pushing through, which speaks volumes about the lack of attention to detail during construction. The most alarming problems, however, revolved around the plumbing and electrical systems. Loose plumbing connections led to flooding, posing a significant safety hazard, and the electrical panel was carelessly miss-wired. As if that weren't enough, we found that the door framing was completely out of plumb, and the wall paneling was visibly buckling at the seams—hardly the sign of a well-crafted product. But the icing on the cake was the slide-out mechanism. Not only did it stop functioning entirely, but the manual crank broke while attempting to bring it in. This left us feeling stranded and further exacerbated our frustration with Heartland's lack of manufacturing standards. I understand that no product is perfect, and flaws can happen, but the sheer magnitude of issues in a supposedly reputable travel trailer manufacturer is astonishing. Heartland's disregard for quality control and the lack of attention to detail make it difficult to believe that they truly value their customers' satisfaction. As a potential customer, I am genuinely concerned about the safety and reliability of Heartland's trailers. I would strongly advise anyone considering a Heartland purchase to think twice before making such a significant investment. I hope that Heartland RVs takes these concerns seriously and implements necessary changes to improve their manufacturing processes. Until then, I cannot in good conscience recommend their products to anyone. In conclusion, my experience with Heartland Travel Trailers has been far from pleasant. I will be exploring other brands that prioritize customer safety and quality craftsmanship. Show less

SUCKS!!! If you think about it turn your head!!shower leaks into the kitchen, windows leaking everywhere, slides didn't work from day 1 (brand new), one month in microwave broke, table poles base came out of the floor ... I should have picked up a cardboard box from the side of the street would be better! Ready for a lawsuit!! Bought from Campers World Kansas. BYE Heartland! Have had a number of leaks all factory warranty things support has been terrible have had my AC out for a couple months have had a hard time getting it resolved am still waiting for repairs and have had no resolve going to hire a lawyer Show less

We have owned 3 travel trailers in the past 20 yrs. This is by far the worst quality travel trailer we have owned. 6 months old the seals on slide came loose, bath tub surround glue came loose, wall paper in bedroom is coming off. Overall the workmanship is by far the worst we have experienced. Show less

Loved the camper at first but Don’t buy one of these bought one brand new from camping world and the front of roof starting to bubble up camping world nor heartland will do anything about it should’ve known not to buy anything that was built during Covid Show less

My spouse and I purchased this Heartland Mallard M32 Last fall, and have had it for about 8 months and have used it several times. First of all, the floorplan is great. We have 4 children and our 3 daughters all stay in the bunkhouse while our son sleeps on the kitchenette (that turns into a sleeping area). Its a good layout for our family. The fact that we only have a 1500 truck made our options extremely limited due to the tow and hitch weight restrictions. We love the outdoor kitchen as well. There is limited space for cooking essentials, but I think that's a pretty common issue in most travel trailers. Ok- so now to the pros and cons about this particular camper. We have had several issues with this camper- there is leaking, cracks in the seals, a window that was put in wrong, the frame of the bedroom where the slide in doors are, was not bolted in correctly. Water continues to come in to the storage areas under the dinette table, and we have no idea where the water is coming from. We have listed, in detail, all of the issues that are wrong with this camper. I would not recommend this camper unless you don't have any options. IF you do end up purchasing this camper, write a list of everything that needs repaired. You should have a 1 year warranty with this , so write up, in detail, all of the issues you have and walk through your camper with a repair associate when you drop it off for those repairs, to make sure they know exactly what you need repaired. My husband is super particular and super detailed, which worked to his advantage. Everything we asked did seem to get approved. Purchased new in May 2023. Model year 2022 the unit was new. First 3 weeks had to go back in for a staple on the bottom of the booth was hanging down causing a tear in the kitchen floor when the slide goes in and out. The rear stabilizer jacks were missing so the dealer robbed them off another camper. The rear stabilizer is not working correctly. The outdoor shower was leaking from the factory. It filled the bathroom floor with water and the pump kept pumping to build up pressure in the lines. It was the fitting on top of the outdoor faucet was loose. The toilet didn't hold water so when the wind is blowing you get the smell of the tank in the bedroom and bathroom. Many screws missing in the interior and doors / covers misaligned. The quality is terrible on the workmanship. for MSRP of $48K you should get a better class of unit. Now I have taken it out for the 4th of July and the Air Conditioner will not keep up. The inside of the unit was up to 86 degrees. I have a dog and contacted the dealer and they said they couldn't do anything until it was brought back in. I was ready to take the unit and drop it off at the door. Hope this helps someone else. Many other small items like wallpaper and wall panels. Show less
