This unit is easy to drive, find street parking and jump from location to location. There is sufficient storage for our needs and the V* motor has sufficient power for towing. AC unit and heater works well, and TV is easy to operate. Love this thing! Don't wait too long before starting to travel! Show less

Family of 5 kid's, wife, and 3 small dogs Negative: Got it and noticed the wheel wells looked like they had been stepped on. My dealer quickly fixed and replaced the wheel well. The Murphy bed frame needed reinforcement. There was a leak where I would winterize the camper. Positive: Sleeps my family and we can prepare meals easily. Have travelled over 1300 miles with it my first year and is structurally sound. This camper is small for my family but not all the kids come. It is mainly a place to lay out head and make meals. Otherwise when we went camping we never spent much time inside. . Show less

Hands down, the biggest over priced piece of crap!!! I bought it brand new and within the first rain it leaked. Dealership where I bought it fixed it. Then, take first shower and noticed water runs right over the edge and on the floor…and gulf stream knows it and will not fix it. I extremely warn “Beware “ of Gulf Stream products!! It will be a fight with them to do anything. I wish the owners of Gulf Stream (Shea Brothers) would acknowledge the poor manufacturing of there product and stand behind it. But why should they their making money on a inferior product. Show less

Wonderful woodwork and bright colorful details - I love what this trailer looks like and its floorplan really works for us. BUT, this trailer is cheaply and poorly manufactured. Some of the defects were minor and were easily fixed - for example, Gulf Stream failed to install a blackwater tank flush valve, to connect the radio to the antenna, etc. Annoying but no big deal. But, it didn't stop with the small stuff . Gulf Stream didn't seal the rear brake light at the roofline and the water that poured in blew 4 of the 5 window seals in the trailer. When it rained it was like Niagara Falls inside the trailer. Took over 8 months to get new windows in stock and replaced. There were what appeared to be nails popping up through the flooring but were in fact just pieces of scrap metal that were not swept up and they installed the flooring right overtop. Then when we were travelling, the freezer door hinge snapped right off and the freezer door was on the floor. Turns out that when the freezer door was installed, a corner plastic piece that holds the door trim and the handle had snapped in half and instead of taking the door off and replacing the piece, they just glued it in place. That is a lot of weight and stress on a glued bit that eventually failed and the cost for replacement of the freezer parts was shockingly high. We have less than 20,000 km on this trailer and the last time we took it out we were on the highway and a leaf spring failed (severed completely in half). Almost died. Repair shop said that the leaf springs that the trailer was initially equipped with were barely sufficient for the dry weight of the trailer and a partially filled fresh water tank - no other weight. We thought we must have a lemon trailer but we spoke to someone with the exact same RV model and year of manufacture, and their experience was no less disturbing - they had had completely different and just as serious issues. We swapped horror stories so that we could learn from our shared experience and take some comfort from the fact that that these issues are not exclusive to just our trailers. These are cheap and cheerful trailers BUT they are really poorly manufactured and somewhat dangerous and the trailer will be in the shop more often than you will be camping with it. Show less

Piece of garbage leaks, radio didn't work, blowing fuses all the time. it's not a very well-made camper. pieces falling off. very cheaply made camper. not worth the money or the time. I wish I decided not to go with it Show less

We have had this camper for 1 year. It is leaking from the top. The strip on roof came off. Also you can see staples all over the inside And the cabinet panel is falling off. This camper is so cheaply made. Called gulfstream and they are no help. They will not help us in any way. Show less

Let me begin with we have had many types and lengths of camping vehicles. From pop up’s to Class A motorhome. We specifically purchased this unit because we wanted something that could be towed behind a SUV and have a complete bathroom. We looked at many floor plans but decided on this on. First it is built light so it will have light cheaper materials in it. Understand that and it helps in understanding what you are purchasing. Most all makes we have purchased have had leaks in the drains or water connections. This unit was no different. I went around and tightened all connections in unit, it took about an hour. Yes this should be done by the dealers but it never seems to get accomplished. The water pump is under the bathroom sink so fairly easy to access and winterize. Everything worked on it when we picked it up and has since then. It tows very easy and we have had no problems with it. We put 6000 equalizer hitch system on it and it drives well down the road. We know if we were towing it with a truck we’d would not even know it was there. The AC is loud but most of them are, it is your normal Dometic unit. I am surprised by how lightweight it is that it has done well for cooling and heating. The undercarriage is not insulated(because of weight). We have camped in it at 30 degrees and it has worked fine. So for an ultra light camper that is 19’ long, has a full bathroom, full sleeping area, kitchen , full refrigerator and freezer(separate doors), and a dinette table. This unit works very well. Access under the dinette and under the beds could be easier but we understand everything is weight in these types of units so doors will add weight. Overall we are very happy with this single axle trailer and the fact that we have what we wanted on the inside. We were willing to sacrifice with lighter weight materials to get the size we wanted with the weight. Show less

Dealer did walk threw they checked tanks saw interstate battery in unit ask person who did walk threw. If the Battery was one that went with it HE SAID YES LIGJTS ABOVE DINNING TABLE DID NOT WORK TRIM AROUND CO2 SENSOR WENT BAD AFTER 1 CAMPING TRIP THEY SWAP BATTERY TO REMANUFACTOR BATTERY WENT BAD THEY SAID THEY DRAIN TANK THEY LIED LIED ABOUT BATTERY MOLDING CRACK AROUND CO2 SENSOR BOUGHT AT CAMPERSRV IN SHREVEPORTUY FORD LOUISIANA ON WEST 70TH THEY HAD TO COME TO HOUSE TO PICK IT UP BECAUSE BATTERY WAS DEAD GULF STREAM AMERI LITE 258BH JUST LIKE FORD FOCUS BOUGHT WITH IN 2 WEEKS NOTE WAS DUE BUT IT IN THE SHOP FORD FOFOCUS IN 47 TIMES IS GULF STREAM AMERI LITE FORD Show less

Purchased 8/22 12v pump leaks under sink from day one, Out side kitchen door put on crooked leaked water in to RV in rain came out under inverter fuse panel, fresh water tank fell out from under trailer when it was stored for the winter ripped sensor wires and fill hose never used tank only city side and the inverter blew after it was fixed. kitchen faucet has no water pressure takes about 3 min to fill a 8 oz glass Show less

Lots of problems!!This camper is poorly built and the water tank is designed to hold 1/3 of water! Can't drain all the water out of tank. This is Unheard of!! Lots of travel to get it fixed, not fixed by dealer 2 times And Lori and Pam from manufacture company, were no help in solving the problem. Was told in Email, its been fixed twice, this one is on you! What does that mean? I bought it new expecting to use all the water not just 2/3 of it and the rest just sit in the tank. GROSS!! Terrible manors by company!! Do your self a favor. Don't buy a gulfstream, They do not stand behind their word and warrantee they offer. I have photos of ALL repairs. Show less
