We Love the floor plan with the bunkhouse its great when camping with our grandkids, Towability is fine no issues. There were 2 areas with small panels with 2 screws each. One is under the bathroom sink which was empty. where the drain pipe goes out and under the camper. The hole was way over sized and you could see right through. I fixed the hole and we now use it as storage. the other was right under the pantry this one has the shore line wire going through it. I wonder why there was such a big waste of space? I was going to relocate it but decided to leave it alone. The over all fit and finish and quality of materials not so good. I went to hang a TV mount there was nothing to tell me location of supports. I called Dutchmen they said to contact the dealer i said you all built it Dutchman still said ask your dealer, i figured it out myself. NOT HELPFULL AT ALL! So after that I doubt I would get another Dutchmen RV. Show less

We bought this Astoria brand new back in June 2023. Had it two days and a limb fall through roof. 6 months later, we finally get it back from repairs. The only issue has been the Haier fridge hasnt worked and had to be replaced, but so far we are really enjoying this trailer. Beautiful interior, great storage and all the comforts to glamp. I had a reese goosebox installed and it pulls like a dream. Overall only months into it, but we love it so far. Would recommend. Show less

Overall best experience I have ever had in a camper. So many memories shared with my wife and 4 yr old son living full time no complaints whatsoever. My 4 yr old definitely put the camper to the test like a toddlers do and it is built tough. I absolutely love the hidden pantry out of sight behind the fireplace for 2 reasons the magnet is very strong to keep the little one from being able to get inside and secondly it’s an awesome talking piece when family and friends are over and see a door open they didn’t know existed. The bunk beds have more than enough space for a teenager to sleep on and the master bedroom is a perfect size. I’ve been full time living in this camper almost a year without a single appliance or material inside or outside the camper showing any sign of concern. If you’re looking for a camper that won’t break the budget that is built to last I would definitely consider the KODIAK ULTRA LITE 296BHSL. Show less

This is my 4th camper. I love the floor plan and layout. This camper has the most solid floor out of all the campers I have owned. I splurged and bought the tankless water heater. Best thing ever. It is very efficient. I cook one meal everyday and shower once a day. It came with two 30 pound propane tanks and I have been using it for 5 months now and still have not refilled the propane once. This camper is very nice and Im happy with my choice. That being said. One thing EVERYONE must realize is all campers nowadays are being built cheaper. With cheaper materials and craftsmanship to make then lightweight and affordable. As long as you take care of it, and dont have a bunch of rowdy kids in it. It will last you many years. I was lucky to have bought mine in South Carolina at Optimal rv . Awesome sales guy and unbelievable service from the dealership. It had a few small issues at 1st. But the dealership service manager DJ sent people to my camp ground and fixed everything on site. Thats 100% customer service at its best. No extra trouble for me . So I have yet to need anything from factory warranty. I know this from experience. DO NOT BUY, OR "TRY TO HAVE" SERVICED ANYTHING FROM CAMPER WORLD. 🤮 Go anywhere but there. Show less

We have had nothing but trouble with this camper. The electrical system kept going out. We would have it fixed and it would blow again . They changed out the converter since it kept blowing fuses. After a couple weeks of use we saw the screws on the outside kept backing out. A few of them we had to replace. The electric water heater never worked we have to use the gas heater to get hot water. The sofa is poorly made. It came loose and had to be screwed back in. When we went to Camping World they told us to go to the manufacturer. We went to the manufacturer and they said we had to go to Camping World. No one would help. The stove knob fell off and now it is hard to turn on the stove. The oven does not work. Trim work has started falling off. I don’t have much nice to say. I wish I had not bought it. Show less

Picked it up in Utah. Stay two nights in it on the way home to California. Now I need to go in the shop for extensive rebuild. Most everything is broken toilet won’t work. The walls are falling down construction very poor hope to have it all fixed and on the road soon love the trailer. Just wish they would build it better. Show less

Don’t buy a Dutchmen. You might start by falling in love with the lovely floor plan. I have to admit that it is awesome! I love everything about it! The living room is spacious! The kitchen island is fantastic! Great storage. And OMG! The full size bathroom was a huge part of why we chose this model! BUT! Everything service and warranty has been ridiculous. We bought out RV to live in. We were beyond excited!!! When we received it at our RV park, we only thought about starting our lives in our new home!! We started getting settled and accepted that maybe everything wouldn’t be perfect, but we had bought the full warranty and we were assured that we would be well taken care of! So we started noticing some issues. Some pretty significant, so we reached out to both the service department of the RV dealership (sorta nightmare in and of itself), but they at least tried. They helped us get a mobile RV repair company to come out, and they put together the information needed for the warranty department. First, the alignment of the slides was off. Because of that the cables to the slides have snapped. The brackets are sinking into the walls. The RV repair company has sent all of the information needed for the warranty to be fulfilled. But no!! We now have been told we have to load up our home, drive it 2 hours to the RV dealership because they want the service department to examine the slides. It has already been noted by a certified RV repair company that they are out of alignment. The same RV repair company that came out to fix an initial issue that was approved. So…. Anyway…. Their warranty department is ridiculous and difficult to work with. Their service is awful. The quality, while it initially appears lovely is crap. If I had it to do again I would never follow through and buy a Dutchmen again. Show less

Very poor craftsmanship several things have had to be reinforced by the dealer one of the sliding doors had to be replaced had two holes drilled wrong spot tried to cover up with putty and paint one year into ownership was going to wash roof and found several wrinkles in the roofing and the manufacturer says that's normal we all know that it's not fighting to have replacement but they say they won't replace it only one year old none of my campers have ever had wrinkles Show less

Please people, do your research on these campers. My husband and I have been camping for 20 plus years and have had 4 campers in that timeframe. We currently have a Dutchman Voltage 4145 and we are almost at a year of having it. It is the nicest camper we have had and honestly the most problems. Can you imagine going camping for a week with several kiddos and your refrigerator doesn’t work? Well we have had it to the shop 3 times for this problem that is still not fixed. We even had to pay someone while we were at the beach to come look at it. Nothing like having to go the grocery store daily because your food will go bad. So the last time we had it there, they tell us it’s working. They say bring it up set it up and let it run for 24 hours. We did exactly that! Well guess what? The freezer has water in it and the refrigerator is at 60 degrees. I’m not typically a complainer but we work hard for what we have and those of you know these campers are not cheap. So at this point, we still have no working refrigerator and freezer and maybe they will approve it because they did deny it. So please please do your research before you consider a Dutchman. It’s sad because growing up I always thought this was an excellent brand. Also, for those that are campers the quality continues to go downhill with how they construct these high dollar units. Being a stickler for quality and craftsmanship, I was not impressed with the quality of materials used on this RV. For example, the “floor” reminded me of wood paneling commonly found on walls! I expected there to be a sheet of heavy plywood. Despite all, I was sold on the floor plan, cost, and visions of family fun. Once we took delivery, the flimsiness became a glaring issue so much so, that we called the deal to ask them if we could return it. Besides the materials and construction, I did not like the constant wobble associated with walking and sleeping in this unit. My biggest safety issue arose when the carbon monoxide detector came on. All I did was turn on the propane tank then shut it off. Apparently, the subsequent gas in the line leaked into the compartment. My advice is to look past the price, floor plan and attractive interior and focus on the craftsmanship which should lead you to your answer as to whether or not to purchase. Show less
