The Freelander 22XG has a great floorplan layout. With just my wife and I, this 24 ft RV seems very very roomy. We use the over cab bunk for our suite cases and everything else that might clutter up the area. The dinette is comfortable for eating, playing games and watching TV at night. The 10 cu ft 12v refrigerator is bigger than many common place 8 cu ft units and especially the 6 cu ft units in the Class B+ units. The queen size murphy bed is almost like being at home, being the same size. During the day we keep the murphy bed up against the wall with the sheets still on the bed. It wakes the RV seem much bigger. When we drive, I keep the bed down to the non driver can rest if needed before taking their turn driving. It drives just like a pickup or full size van. At about the size of a U-Haul truck, it drives and handles much better. We have only had ours about year but are still pleased. We have even found winterizing it much easlier that expected.

Small from the outside, spacious inside. Drives like a smooth van, not a "rig"! No slideouts=no problems! No problems with leaks, with awkward interior, or not being allowed a campsite! Coachmen communications & honoring of warranties is exceptional, but the ease & simplicity of this vehicle requires little maintenance. It has been a dream to own this motorhome, & the simplicity, ruggedness, & ease of use of it allowed us to gain the full experience of living on the road. A sad goodbye the day I can't use her anymore! Highly recommend!

We have a 2022 Coachman Brookstone 344fl. We purchased it brand new in Sept 22. It is the worst RV we have ever owned!!! The fist week we had it the A/C stopped getting cold, then the Fridge freezes up causing the fridge to stop cooling, heater keeps blowing fuses, the lippard auto level keeps giving error codes and keeps malfunctioning, one of the slides keeps trying to go in crooked, last month we were driving and the front black& grey tanks were falling out, luckily we caught it when we stopped for the night and were able to go to a truckstop repair and have a cross bar put on until we can get it into a shop, the we got parked and a few days later we noticed the back black and grey tanks are starting to fall as well. Numerous other problems with the interior.....It is a HUGE PIECE OF JUNK!!!! Cannot Wait to get rid of this RV!!!! Never again will I own a Forest River Brand, were very Brand loyal, but never again!!!

We bought this 5th Wheel new from RV World in Bradenton, FL. It is a 42' Chaparral. After being in it for 7 months we have found most things are in good working condition. However, we have had a problem since day one that is still not working correctly and I can't imagine others don't have the same problem. It's their Furrion thermostats. Both for A/C and for the oven. They don't work!! We are currently on thermostat #5 and it doesn't work any better than the previous 4. I bought a digital thermostat so I could know the actual temp in this trailer. It never shows the temp as being anywhere close to the actual temp and therefore, doesn't turn on. We have had the actual temp as 84 degrees and the thermostat read 56 degrees. I have a picture of the thermostats beside each other where it shows 80 and 56 degrees. You can not get the A/C to come on and it just keeps getting hotter in here. This is thermostate #5. None of the others worked either. I couldn 't get RV World or Adontis at Customer Service Rep @ Lippert, nor the Maintennce Supv at RV World in Bradenton, FL call you back sand it was 84 and rising. I had to call an outside comopany to come in and get us a/c. He got it to run temporarily and it cost us $930 because my husband was getting ready for open heart surgery and not welll enough to get the unit into Bradenton, FL. RV World eventually got someone to come out and put in thermostat #5 but it still doesn't work properly. As I said, it will go to 56 degrees and stay there and no one has touched it Then you turn it off and play with it for awile until you get it back on. It's a Royal Pain. Also problem with thermostat in oven. You can't bake anything that needs to rise because you have to turn it to 490degrees then turn it down and you might get 325 or 370 whatever it wants to do. Also if you open the oven to do cookies, you lose the temp and it may go back up and it may not. And you burn the bottoms before the top is baked. So I only use for roast or meatloaf. Something that you can test to see if it's done. Don't bake any desserts. I've ruined too many. Cheaper to buy or do without. I have no respect for RV World in Bradenton, FL, Lippert Corp, or Forrest River. Lippert and Forrest River are the companies that bought Coachman. And don't care about their customers. I'd be happy to go into more detail about the thermostat situation. I've written many emails to these companies and they don't answer. Oh and the warranty isn't worth the paper it written on. You have to take you unit into them and they fix when they get to it. Can take 6 months. And you have nothing to use. In our case, we owned sinceOctober '22 and it's still not working.

I actually purchased and received a 2023 Coachmen Prism Elite 24CB. Website hasn’t been updated for current year production. I’ve had it for 2 months. Overall build and quality control is a -5 out of 10. When it was reported that the RV manufacturing industry is plagued with drug abuse and unskilled workers, the reports are 100% true. 80% of the visible screws are not in straight and flush. Sharp screw edges will definitely get your feet/socks often. Cabinet screws have splinters around them. Bunk shade controls were reversed. Black and grey tank monitors are reversed. Grey tank piping is leaking inside the RV. Grey tank piping before the dump valve was under so much stress, it just cracked. Flexible PVC piping would have worked better for the pipe angles they were trying to achieve. Heating tank pads are already coming apart. Cabin trim is coming loose. They hit one trim with 3 screws in the same area and couldn’t get it to anchor, then just moved on. RV monitoring display was shattered on a corner prior to delivery. Saw dust in every cabinet and inside the ceiling light covers. Cables under RV are exposed and dangling past the rear axle where it can get snagged and ripped out by road debris. Need to get an alignment because the steering wheel is turned more to the right for the RV to go straight. Inside TV has an issue turning on. Leveling system is not properly calibrated. Front is always lower when the system indicates it’s leveled. Exterior full body paint is flaking off. I even purchased that paint protection coat. Get yourself an old ambulance and some local drugged-out homeless workers and you’ll produce something that is a 0 out of 10.

In the last 5 months I've had to replace all the pex fittings in the bathroom, the Seals in the toilet and the shower walls. The slide out keeps getting out of alignment and the fridge keeps going out. The longer I stay in it the more I notice the poor craftsmanship from the crooked cabinets to the the trim coming undone. I would not recommend this camper.

Excellent floodplain!! Tows well behind my Jeep Gladiator(diesel) . The problem with these campers is workmanship v͟e͟r͟y͟ P͟O͟O͟R͟!!! Problems I’ve encountered so far, leaking front window, black trim tape was pulling away from slide out trim, took dealer 6 weeks to make repairs!! Split hot waterline, shower leaks badly, unplugged space heater and the receptacle pulled completely out of the wall, Bathroom lavatory leaks, cupboard doors misaligned and hinges pull loose easily!! I’m a retired skilled trades person and have opted to make repairs myself. I definitely would not recommend Coachmen Apex campers or any Coachmen product line because I’m sure the build quality is probably the same!!
