2021 Thor Motor Coach Class B reviews

I purchased the 2021 Tellaro 20LT the fall of 2021. I have had ongoing problems with the auto-geneartor - inverter - AGM - solar panels with neither working or communicating. The solar panels charge the AGM batteries but does provide electrical power to the RV outlets. On & off issues with BMPro. It appears that Thor support is very lacking. I would recommend not purchasing any of the Tellaros. Show less

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS VAN, GARBAGE VAN. No issues with dodge portion. The thor part is all garbage. The interior floor is already peeling up. 1. You can't run the interior A/C while the van is driving! Yea so if the van's a/c won't reach the back oh well! 2. Ran the shower 3 times and the ceiling started caving in 3. You can't drive above 70 mph; because the awning thay comes attached will start to rattle and has fine print that says if it falls off it's on you not any warranty. 4. The bathroom doors while you drive won't stay closed so they bang around. 5.the cabinets above the sleeping area won't stay closed while driving. So you can't store anything above you. 6. Honestly there is too much to write I Purchased my van in Florida on a deal for 80k. Before driving back to Georgia the kept cutting off. I turned into the first gas station I could find. I looked under the van and wiring running from the battery's to the motor were hanging so low that the cables were worn to open copper. A nice man helped me cover the wiring and re arange the wiring. It Drives like a Dream compared to any Coach or RV Trailer that I have owned ( 5 others to date). There's plenty of room and I found it incredibly easy to maneuver and especially to park! It's no bigger then a LWB Pickup Truck. The drivers compartment is filled with every conceivable device for driving comfort including Fully Adjustable Swivel Seats, Power Mirrors, Towing Package, Ice Cold AC, Window Covers, Great Stereo, Touch Screen , Shifter placement, Cup Holders, Cruise, Tilt, Storage, and even a Windshield Sun/Privacy Cover. Having owned everything from Aluminum Travel Trailers ( 1962 & 2001) to Class A to vintage 1950's Field & Stream to another late model Class B... I was impressed by the Quality of Build and attention to detail, pretty much pre-thinking your every need when traveling or camping. The Bath is an ingenious design with a Commode, fold-down Sink, Medicine Cabinet, Wardrobe Cabinet, 2 deep Drawers and a Shower Curtain that stores out-of-the way. ...to doors that open wide at the back- like 'taking a shower outdoors'. They even pre-designed lights near the Hookup ports and built-in power w/ LP sockets for entertaining outside the unit. My RV even has an Electric Awning w/ built-in LED night Lights and 2 screened Windows! Having prev. owned a sluggish diesel powered RV, it was great to be able to buy (cheap) Reg.Gas for a powerful 260hp V6 motor that would have no problem pulling a small car (-3500lbs). We bought this to move our family across the country. 2 big dogs and one teenager. It was the best decision we made and worked perfectly. Both my husband and I could easily drive it. The dogs were able to lay down in the AC and relax with no stress. My daughter watched TV and had her own room to do what she wanted. There was more than enough room to bring our personal belongings and food and beverages. Although we stayed at hotels at night, and didn't take advantage of the camping side of this vehicle for the move, this camper van was solid. With 10 hour days of driving, it made for a great, safe enjoyable ride for the entire family. We highly recommend this vehicle. Show less

My dealership experience was very limited. The walk through was performed by a very inexperienced technician. After getting home I realized that the door panel had fallen off. Awning lights not working. Couldn't get the water or water heater to work. First trip to the shop. 11/2 months later I get the RV back. Drop it off at my home and go to use it two weeks later and the hole roof was falling down and the door panel was fallen off again. Dealership I took it to replaced the panel for a second time, but told me that they didn't work on the issues with roof. I reached out to Thor again and all they could say was take to a dealership. They sent me name of dealers in my area. By time I dropped it off a week later the door panel had fallen off again. The panel clips looked to be held in place by hot glue! My camper has been in the shop ever since. So April 21 to Dec 21 still is not repaired and Thor and their the person who came to look at my van have decided to use epoxy as the fix if and when they approve the repair shop to actually do the fix! Poor quality, poor warranty department and just a bad overall experience. I will never recommend a RV manufactured under the Thor brand. By the way I am not a new RV'er. I have been living and using campers for over 30 years and actually worked at a RV dealer. Thor is JUNK!!! Driving and towing is a Ram chassis. Show less

This has been a terrible experience. I wish i had listened to other reviews. Thor and General RV are terrible to work with. Van is missing screens, speakers, sewer hose. Fan is broken, drawers broken connect to hose broken. THOR continues to put off helping - the van is only 5 weeks old. Terrible customer support. I cannot wait to get rid of - waiting for FORD to start selling again. I strongly urge people do NOT buy! THOR is NOT going to give you what You PAID for Show less

The dealer I bought it from did not do a PDI or even clean the unit. Had a 12 minute walk through Took it to the dealer to have warranty work done ie: satellite doesn't work, bolt coming up through the floor, dent in frame by windshield and just found out the 4 pin flat towing connector does not have power to the right tail light. When I took it to the dealer, which is 140 miles from home they kept it for six hours and said yes I need all those things but did nothing to fix any of the problems. Contacted Thor and they said take it to another dealer to check to see, what had already been confirmed to be a bad antenna by both a ford dealership and the rv dealer I bought the unit from, if the antenna is bad. Called other dealers and because I did not buy it from them they won't service it. I was told by many not to buy a Thor product and I should have listened to them. Show less

Bought new 6/4/21. Delivered with broken BMPRO (control center) mount, skylight box not attached at factory, and the overhead center console dropped out of the ceiling while driving home to Colorado. Almost had an accident when that one happened. Coach door does not lock, as it was warped at delivery. High Pointe stove rattled so loud I thought it would break, delivered with two out of four pads missing. The top of the stove is not installed square, so the glass vibrates when on the highway. Sirius XM radio has an Antenna Fault and does not work. No one is accepting accountability for this one. I think the antenna was simply not connected at the build, or broken during assembly, but have no idea and no one is helping. This week I removed all of the drawers and found most of the glides installed with a single 3/8" screw and the catch installed on broken 1"X1" blocks that were stapled in and not glued. I had to repair all of them. Sawdust keeps appearing mysteriously on the bathroom floor and in the corner of the bedroom. I have only had contact with Thor on these issues twice, as they are extremely hard to get on the phone. One representative (Terry) was very attentive, but unable to do anything for me except ship a new BMPro mounting bracket directly to me (I got it). The other representative gave me phone numbers of Thor dealers to call and try to arrange a warranty service. No way in this market. Luckily, I have a dealer in Grand Junction that has been trying to help. They have been great. The selling center has not helped once. The Ford chassis and engine are fantastic. The 3.5 EcoTech engine is a dream to drive in the mountains, and AWD seems to function great. Gas mileage is about 12 now, but I think as it breaks in will improve. Goes easily with traffic on the interstates. I really think once all of these issues are resolved, I will have a fantastic little motorhome. I would recommend to any buyer to thoroughly go through your new coach for the above details and TEST drive your unit before you pay. For me, I installed a second solar panel and battery, but failed to have an inverter installed. I would highly recommend this as the generator works great, but is noisy for neighbors, even when boon docking. Show less

Luxurious, spacious living area and bathroom area. Nice light colors and windows - super Ford Transit chassis , great drivability, power up hills, and economy of 3.5 eco-turbo gas engine, 410hp, 400 ft-lbs torque 12.5-14 mpg over mountains to San Diego - well equipped and literally better than new - kept under cover since February delivery - selling due to family crisis -perfect and ready at this great price!!! - 1 trip to Coronado Beach in California - no issues, few cosmetic minor things at LaMesa RV for 1st courtesy servicing Only 3300 miles total - has 2086 as delivered new to us.
