overall happy with camper. the refridgerator seems to put out a lot of heat.hot air comes out of the sides and top of the unit. makes camper hard to cool down. is the unit suppose to put out so much heat when working.? is there a wrap that can be installed to hold back the heat.? will this be a safety problem for the unit to over heat and cause a fire.? Falling apart within 2 years of little use at local campgrounds. Countertop is starting to delaminate, electrical outlet not even being used broke and popped out of the wall, window leaks when it rains. None of this was covered after we found out that the 2 year warranty was actually only a 1 year warranty. Michelle at KZ said she would work with us, but at the end they offered nothing in support of their poor and faulty craftsmanship. $1200 for a new countertop on a rig just over a year old. Wonder how bad this will fall apart next year?! The mattress needs replacement already too. Very cheap made. Show less

Decent floor plan for what I need. But this this so cheaply made as well as poor quality construction it has been a big disappointment. Right away we had very serious electrical issues when 2 auto reset breakers on the tongue melted, burning the cover and disabling the 12v system. Eventually got these issues resolved but after weeks of stonewalling by KZ and the dealer. First trip the main kitchen cabinet self distructed- the framing literally broke apart leaving framing and contents all over the inside. So again due to stonewalling we rebuilt the cabinet ourselves. Now we have a cold water supply to the water heater kinked so bad it won't flow. It was kinked as originally installed. Nothing about this trailer is worth the price and aggravation. Don't recommend KZ or the model. Show less

The RV has been great, had to travel several miles to pick up due to Covid pandemic, but worth the travel. Only minor issues with the trailer after one full season of use. The LED on the power cord door LED is out, the bracket that holds the theatre seating to the wall pulled out, other than that it has been a wonderful experience. Show less

We’ve had this Stratus 281 VBH 2021 model for about a year we’ve taken it out 18 times we’ve had no problems everything works like it’s supposed to the construction it’s very well-made. It is a extended seasons camper outdoor kitchen is very good we have enjoyed this camper very much Thor builds good quality campers other people we spoke to with other brands have had many problems we have had no problems out of this camper. In the master bedroom they have a Serta full-size queen mattress it’s not a camper mattress you can walk all the way around the bed on three sides plenty of room and very comfortable. Show less

Well built 1/2 ton towable bumper pull. Nice amenities, good floorpplan. Love the fireplace as it will heat the camper on its own without using the gas heat. 2 A/C's really make a difference in the comfort. Outdoor kitchen is fun and convenient. Setting up is easy with power tongue jack and power stabilizer jacks. The anti-sway hitch makes towing easy with my Silverado 1500. Show less

So the first night out the valance over the bed fell on our heads. Routinely screws just fall out. Though it fits our needs, very disappointed in the workmanship. It’s been easy to tow and comfortable in our trip across country but we worry what will fail next Show less

My experience with the KZ C272FK has been frightening, come to find out there is an engineering error causing the tongue weight to be to lite. There is a Safety Recall on this model which was issued months after I bought it so be careful what you buy, you'll get no support from KZ other then whats required by the recall and good luck towing the camper. The recall says the engineering error could result in death, I went sideways down the highway. I asked if they would tow it and exchange it for the same model but without the engineering error. Their response? NO! Tow it yourself and we'll relocate the axles by cutting them from the frame and bolting them reward 7.5" or so. Show less

Due to an "Engineering Error" the C272FK has been recalled. The suggested solution is to move the axles about 7.5" reward. Due to low tongue weight towing the KZC272FK may cause risk of injury or death. I received the Recall Notice but found out the hard way,nearly jacked on the highway. Called KZ, "the warranty doesn't include towing." This is a brand new camper and I'm expected to be okay with their hacking off the axles and bolting the back onto the frame. Show less

i purchased a 2016 Jayco trailer and put of 8000 miles on it in less than 6 months - only one issue. Purchased the unit march 2021. within 24 hours I had returned it twice: 1) THE POWER SLIDE DID NOT OPERATE CORRECTLY. 2) FRONT WINDOW LEAKED - NO SEALANT - mattress soaked. Dry camping on Olympic Peninsula on June ran the heater, batteries died in the middle of the night, had to hook up to my truck to provide electricity to operate the heater. shower stall was not sealed. Refrigerator vent was not fitted correctly had to be replaced. refrigerator will not stay on when driving. Cloth trim on bunk be designed to tear out. Wood trim only screwed in place - no glue. exterior surface had silicon adhesive drips al over it. Electric tounge jack broke - descending post separated from the unit couldn't get lift the trailer off my truck. it has spent more time getting repair than i have been able to use it. i now have less than 2000 mines on the unit and have low confidence in it staying together when i go on the road.
